AU-W vs IN-W Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: CWG 2022 Match 1 | AU-W vs IN-W Dream11 Prediction Today | Edgbaston Pitch Report
For the first time in 24 years, cricket is part of the Commonwealth Games. Women’s cricket will be the centerpiece from a cricketing perspective, as seven nations seek to challenge Australia, who are undoubtedly favourites for the gold medal.
India is first up in a game that could set up their campaign. If you remember, India upset Australia in their first match of the 2020 T20 World Cup, with the spinners producing the goods in Sydney that night. However, if Harmanpreet Kaur’s team are to topple over the Australians, they will need to bat more proactively than they did in their recent tour of Sri Lanka.
In terms of Australia’s preparations, it was stop-start due to the rain in Ireland. The Aussies were too strong for both Pakistan and Ireland in the series, with Meg Lanning moving back to the number one position in the T20I batting rankings thanks to 113 runs in two innings. Also, the bowlers, led by spinners Alana King and Jess Jonassen, were in fine form, and they will be aiming to make early inroads into India’s batting lineup.
