CPL 2020 Match 10: GAW vs SLZ Preview Dream11 Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | GAW vs SLZ Dream11 Prediction Today | Guyana Amazon Warriors vs St. Lucia Zouks Key Players | Tarouba Pitch Report
An important match awaits us as the CPL 2020 table begins to take shape. Guyana Amazon Warriors and St. Lucia Zouks, both on four points after three matches each, will lock horns for a chance to consolidate a top two spot.
Both teams are coming off wins on Saturday, in somewhat contrasting fashion. St. Lucia Zouks were impressive against Patriots, hitting the highest score of CPL 2020 to date (172/6). The power of Andre Fletcher in the opening overs, followed by the capabilities of Mark Deyal, Najibullah Zadran, Roston Chase and Mohammad Nabi, makes the Zouks a dangerous proposition.
Also, the Zouks, while they may not have the big names that other franchises do, continue to fight hard with the ball. Roston Chase’s superb spell yesterday (3/12), combined with the steady Nabi and the wicket-taking abilities of Scott Kuggeleijn and Kesrick Williams, is enough to ensure that no team can be complacent against them.
Guyana Amazon Warriors pulled one out of the bag against Jamaica Tallawahs, successfully defending the lowest score in CPL history. Victory looked unlikely with just 118 on the board, but as often the case with the Warriors in the league stage, they find a way to win. All six of their bowlers were in the wickets yesterday, restricting Jamaica to just 104/7 in an excellent display of tight, disciplined bowling. Can they repeat it again today?

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
- Andre Fletcher is the highest scorer in Warriors-Zouks matches out of the players in the current squads (274). Also, Fletcher is coming off an impressive 46 (33) yesterday vs Patriots.
- Shimron Hetmyer came crashing to earth with a golden duck after two consecutive fifties. He remains the top scorer in CPL 2020 so far with 134, which includes scores of 63* (44) and 71 (44).
- Can Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran, two exciting young Windies players, deliver after a slow start to their tournaments? King, who top scored in CPL 2019 with 496 runs, has scored just 39 runs in three innings so far. Pooran has just 22.
- King scored 81 (59) in his last game vs Zouks.
- Mark Deyal has looked promising in CPL 2020. Can he now build on his scores of 17 (6) and 30 (17)?
- Roston Chase offers value with both bat and ball, and the Warriors need to nullify his threat. In addition to a 52 in the first game, Chase has since taken five wickets in two games (2/8 and 3/12).
- Mohammad Nabi was man of the match in Zouks’ win over Patriots yesterday (35* off 22 balls and 1/17). Can he back it up with another strong performance?
- Chris Green, who took a superb 2/10 yesterday, won player of the match in the first match against Zouks last season (2/28).
- Scott Kuggeleijn is currently the top wicket-taker in CPL 2020 (seven wickets in three games). Keemo Paul is close behind with six.
- Naveen-ul-Haq was Guyana’s man of the match yesterday, and will be key at the death once again. Given his prowess in the death overs, this could mean more wickets for Naveen.
- Kesrick Williams has 119 wickets in 90 T20s, and is one to watch.

Match Prediction
Guyana Amazon Warriors have an excellent record against St. Lucia Zouks. While Guyana haven’t played their best cricket yet, they start this match as favourites given the potential of their young guns to go big with the bat, as well as their bowlers to restrict the run rate. However, expect St. Lucia to put up a strong show.
