CPL 2021 Match 21: SKN vs JAM Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | SKN vs JAM Dream11 Prediction Today | Jamaica Tallawahs vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots Key Players | St Kitts Pitch Report
Two sides in need of victory, for different reasons. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, after five consecutive victories, have hit a wall after two heavy defeats to St. Lucia Kings. Jamaica Tallawahs sit outside the top four, and are smarting from their own comprehensive defeat after being rolled for just 92 at the hands of champions Trinbago Knight Riders.
St Kitts’ batting was particularly poor in the last two games, as their middle order wasn’t able to rescue things after more poor top order batting. Evin Lewis and Devon Thomas have shown some good glimpses, while Chris Gayle continues to be out of the runs. With Sherfane Rutherford and Fabian Allen in form down the order, the Patriots need a solid platform from their top order to bounce back into some form.
Jamaica are in a similar boat. They have less than 24 hours to turn things around after a heavy defeat yesterday, and need to do so as they are at risk of missing out on the playoffs. Their powerplay batting has been abysmal, losing a total of nine wickets in this stage across their last two games (15/5 and 28/4 vs TKR), and need to improve on this today to ensure the likes of Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite have the chance to launch at the backend.
Crucial game. Who will hold their nerve?
Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots:
- Evin Lewis will be crucial at the top of the order. The left-hander has the most runs of any Patriots player vs Jamaica, with 375 runs at an average of 28.85 and strike rate of 168.16.
- Also, Lewis has scored the second-most runs in CPL 2021 (236 runs, avg. 33.71, SR 147.50), including 39 (27) vs Jamaica earlier this season.
- Fabian Allen has an extraordinary batting record for St Kitts against Jamaica. In four innings against them, he has slammed 152 runs at an unbelievable strike rate of 237.50, including 30* off 12 balls earlier this season. He also has four wickets for Patriots vs Tallawahs.
- Sherfane Rutherford was player of the match vs Tallawahs earlier this season (50* off 26 balls). He overcame a poor record previously vs Jamaica to make a fine fifty that day. Can he repeat it after a few low scores in CPL 2021?
- Sheldon Cottrell, if available, will be key. He has 11 wickets in nine matches vs Jamaica, including 1/28 earlier this season.
- Paul van Meekeren had a fine outing against Tallawahs earlier this season, taking 2/27 in an economical spell.
Jamaica Tallawahs:
- Rovman Powell has the most runs of any current Tallawahs player vs Patriots. His 256 runs come at an average of 28.44 and strike rate of 152.38.
- Powell, however, is enduring a poor CPL 2021 campaign to date. He has scored just 96 runs in six matches at an average of 16.00. The skipper needs to step up in a time of need today.
- Can Andre Russell turn around a poor batting record vs Patriots? He has scored just 130 runs in 10 innings against them at an average of 18.57 and strike rate of 135.42. He has eight wickets in nine matches against them.
- Kennar Lewis has scored the most runs of any Jamaica player so far in CPL 2021. However, of his 167 runs, 89 of them were scored in one innings, so the Tallawahs will be hoping today is his day.
- Carlos Brathwaite looked good in his 16-ball 27 against St. Kitts earlier this season. Also, Brathwaite has returned to the bowling crease and took a wicket yesterday. He also took 3/11 in his only outing vs St. Kitts to date.
- Imad Wasim has enjoyed a good start to his CPL 2021 campaign with the bat and ball (42, 11 and 2/19, 1/13).
- Migael Pretorius remains a wicket-taking threat despite an expensive last two outings. He has the most wickets for the Tallawahs this season (12 in six matches).

Warner Park Basseterre St Kitts Pitch Report and Weather
The team batting first won both games yesterday on a surface that offered something for bowlers and batsmen. There was bounce and spin available for the bowlers, while the ball came on relatively nicely for the batsmen.
The forecast is warm and clear conditions.

Match Prediction
Both sides are in need of a victory. St. Kitts have missed Dwayne Bravo, but can win here without him particularly if their top order scores runs.
