Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 49th match of IPL 2025. CSK is already out of the playoffs race but it will be a crucial game for Punjab to strengthen their chances of qualifying.
CSK’s performance this season has been abysmal with the bat and it’s the key reason for their poor performance. None of the batters have scored consistently for the 5-time champions. The pitch in the last game at Chepauk was a two-paced one and run scoring was a demanding task, especially before the dew settled in. It’s expected to be somewhat similar in this game. It will be a good one for batting initially but will get difficult as the game progresses.
