CWC 2019 Match 22: India v Pakistan Preview Dream11. IND vs PAK Dream11 Prediction.
June 16, 2019. A huge non-football rivalry in Manchester. A date that has been circled in the calendar of hundreds of millions of fans, sure to be glued to the action in a way only an India-Pakistan match can.
One of the biggest matches of the group stage is sure to have players and fans nervous. However, CWC 2019, which has had four washouts already, has the ICC sweating more than anyone. Showers are forecast in Manchester in Sunday, as India look to get back into action a week after a good win against Australia. There is no greater occasion than a game against an arch-rival to keep the momentum going. After all, there is the small matter of the 2017 Champions Trophy Final that India wish to amend.
While the ICC is under pressure, sure to face a barrage of warranted criticism if this game is affected by rain, Pakistan have it all to do. They missed a golden opportunity against Australia, fumbling their way to an error-riddled 41-run loss that has put them on the brink. Like India, there is no better occasion to deliver the goods than in a game of this magnitude, and if Pakistan can pick up a win here, who knows just what they are capable of for the rest of tournament. You can get a fair idea of which India side will turn up. However, which Pakistan will we see? Will the weather be kind?

Key to an India win
Mohammad Amir was the chief tormentor early in India’s big run chase in the 2017 Champions Trophy Final. Pakistan’s spearhead has finally hit the kind of form he showed that day, coming off an outstanding 5/30 vs Australia on Wednesday. So, how well will India’s top three negotiate his threat? How well KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma deal with movement up top is crucial, paving the way for Virat Kohli and the middle order to build on the platform. Then, as India’s death overs’ batting against Australia showed, they have the power to build on strong work from the top order.
Also, can India take advantage of Pakistan’s tendency to lose concentration with the bat? Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah have both made excellent starts to CWC 2019, and will be tasked with making inroads early to push Pakistan onto the back foot. They were able to do so in last year’s Asia Cup, paving the way for the spinners to turn the screws further on the middle order. Given the way Pakistan’s middle order threw wickets away against Australia, the Indians can create opportunities if they can build pressure through dot balls in the middle overs.
Key to a Pakistan win
Mohammad Amir will be crucial with the ball. However, what kind of support will he get? He was outstanding in the powerplay overs against Australia, but the same couldn’t be said of his colleagues, who inexplicably bowled back-of-a-length on both sides of the wicket without any wicket-taking intent. The same strategy will mean trouble against the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both of whom will be keen to make a mark. Can Pakistan create early pressure and then transfer it to India’s middle order; just as they were able to do against Australia’s?

Also, Fakhar Zaman’s inconsistency of late continues to hurt Pakistan. With Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam accumulators of the ball, Pakistan need Fakhar to provide a start that forces Virat Kohli to change his plans. To turn elsewhere. Perhaps turn to spin a little earlier than desired. To win this, Pakistan need to put India under continued pressure, which places onus on the middle order to have a much better outing than the case against Australia. Can Mohammad Hafeez play the kind of of knock he did against England? Does Shoaib Malik get another chance? Who will support Sarfaraz Ahmed in the middle overs? There are plenty of questions and Pakistan need the right answers on a day like this.

Pitch and conditions
Rain forecast in Manchester. Chances of a result looks a little blreak. The pitch has been under cover for much of the week given the rain, so there could be assistance for the bowlers first up if there is action. Expect the team who wins the toss to bowl first.
Possible Playing 11
Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out for at least 2-3 weeks with a hairline fracture in his thumb. KL Rahul was set to open in the washed out game against New Zealand. However, the question is who would bat four? Also, conditions could have a say in whether India play two wristspinners.
India: 1. Rohit Sharma, 2. KL Rahul, 3. Virat Kohli (c), 4. Vijay Shankar/Dinesh Karthik, 5. MS Dhoni (wk), 6. Kedar Jadhav, 7. Hardik Pandya, 8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 9. Kuldeep Yadav, 10. Yuzvendra Chahal, 11. Jasprit Bumrah
Pakistan have a number of questions regarding their team balance. Asif Ali had a terrible game against Australia, but will he be given another chance due to his big-hitting ability? What about Shoaib Malik, who continues to struggle in England? Also, Hassan Ali is struggling with the ball, so will Pakistan persist with him or drop Shaheen Shah Afridi to cater for Shadab Khan?
Pakistan: 1. Imam-ul-Haq, 2. Fakhar Zaman, 3. Babar Azam, 4. Mohammad Hafeez, 5. Sarfaraz Ahmed (c & wk), 6. Asif Ali, 7. Imad Wasim, 8. Shadab Khan, 9. Hassan Ali, 10. Wahab Riaz, 11. Mohammad Amir

Match Prediction
Will the weather be kind? The ICC certainly hopes so, given that their Twitter handle will be under serious fire if the game is washed out. It doesn’t look promising, though, given the rain that is forecast.
If there is a result, India is my pick. They are a more reliable and in-form side, and have the quality to overcome Pakistan in a big clash.

India vs Pakistan is a rival team. Everyone wait to watch the battle. But nowadays, the competition is not happening like before.
I would appeal to Pakistan Team management to seriously consider calling Pakistan Cricket Team back from the world cup to avoid further humiliating performances. All the players in Pakistan Team need to be sacked and never ever allowed to play cricket and represent the country. They are a SHAME for the nation. Pakistan team has NO CLASS against India. “Un ki koi aukaat hee nahi kay khud ko India cricket team say compare karay”. Pakistan team players are good at talking big and performance is NIL. Pakistan team players should be news casters as they can exaggerate things very well. They CANNOT play cricket.
