Delhi Capitals will take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in what promises to be a thrilling contest in the 46th match of IPL 2025. Earlier this season, DC defeated RCB by six wickets thanks to a blistering knock from KL Rahul. RCB, who are yet to lose an away game, will be pretty confident coming into this match. 

Delhi Capitals are second in the points table with six wins in eight games. They defeated LSG by eight wickets in their last game. KL Rahul, Abhishek Porel, Karun Nair, Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel have been in good form with the bat. Ashutosh Sharma has also chipped in with crucial contributions. 

Kuldeep Yadav has been the best bowler for DC this season. Mukesh Kumar was exceptional in the last game, while Mitchell Starc has also done well.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally broke their losing streak at home as they defeated Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs in a thriller of a game. Devdutt Padikkal’s form at number three is a great boost for them, but skipper Rajat Patidar’s form will be a big concern. Virat Kohli has been consistent as ever and Phil Salt and Tim David have also done well. 

Josh Hazlewood has been exceptional with the ball. Krunal Pandya has also bowled well with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yash Dayal also chipping in. RCB will hope that Rajat Patidar can regain his touch in this game.

It will be a good wicket to bat on in this match. The boundary dimensions are on the lower side as well. There will be some movement with the new ball for the pacers and we’ve seen spinners getting some assistance as well. 

Scores in the range of 180-200 are expected with teams preferring to chase if they win the toss. 

It’s expected to be partly cloudy with no chance of rain so dew should not be a big factor. The temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius at the start of the game.

• Rajat Patidar hasn’t been in the best of form lately but he’s a key batter for RCB in the middle order. The top three’s consistent performance has delayed his entry points in the last few matches. Patidar will still be a good fantasy pick.
• Devdutt Padikkal has two fifties in the last two games. He has been in excellent touch at number 3 for RCB. Padikkal has attacked the spinners and will be a key batter for his side in this match. 
• Tristan Stubbs will be another top fantasy pick. He’s looked in good touch and has played his shots straightaway. RCB has an in-form bowling attack and Stubbs will be an important batter for Delhi in the middle order.

• Axar Patel has been batting at number 4 in the last couple of games and will bowl his full quota. He will bat at 4 if DC goes with the same XI. This has increased his fantasy value. Axar will fancy his chances against RCB’s right-hand heavy batting unit.

• Josh Hazlewood picked up four wickets in the last game against the Royals. He has been the best bowler for RCB this season and the go-to man for the skipper. Hazlewood has bowled well in the powerplay and has been equally good in the death overs too. He has 16 wickets in nine games this season.
• Kuldeep Yadav can trouble RCB’s middle order. He has been in good form in IPL 2025 with 12 wickets in eight games. Kuldeep has been the best bowler for DC and will be a must in your fantasy teams.
