Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be against each other in the highly anticipated 10th match of IPL 2025. The venue for this game will be the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium. It’s expected to be a high-scoring clash as both sides bolster very explosive batting lineups. 

Delhi Capitals defeated the Lucknow Super Giants by one wicket in a thriller of a game in their season opener. Ashutosh Sharma (66* runs) held his nerves and saw his side over the line. Tristan Stubbs (34 runs) and Vipraj Nigam (39 runs) assisted him quite well. Vipraj was very impressive in his first game with the bat.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their last game against Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets with 3.5 overs left. Abhishek Sharma has failed to get going in the first two games. They will need consistency from him and Ishan Kishan. Heinrich Klaasen was unlucky in the last game and a big knock feels just around the corner. Travis Head has been in good touch and Aniket Verma has impressed a lot. 

Pat Cummins did well with the ball in the last game but Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel’s ineffectiveness might be a little concerning, although that can be because of the surface at Hyderabad. Adam Zampa has been below his best so far, often erring too full. The Sunrisers need to perform as a team moving forward in the tournament.

• KL Rahul was in magnificent form in the recent Champions Trophy. Against SRH, Rahul has struck 457 runs at an average of 38.08 and strike rate of 122.34.

• Faf du Plessis has 571 runs in 18 innings against SRH at an average of 35.70 at a strike rate of 143.80. Faf can score big on his day and he looked in good touch in the first game.
• Jake Fraser-McGurk scored 65 off just 18 deliveries against SRH last year. His current form is abysmal but he can score big on his day, especially on a good batting wicket like we will see at Vizag.
