EN-W vs SA-W 1st T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report | EN-W vs SA-W 1st T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | Chelmsford Pitch Report

After a clean sweep by England in the ODIs, attention moves to the T20Is as South Africa grow desperate for their first win on tour.

South Africa, who also lost T20 and one-day tour matches against England A, need a lift in spirits in what has been a tough campaign to date. They can now focus on putting in a strong performance in this vital T20I series, as they are hosting the women’s T20 World Cup in early 2023.

For England, the emphasis will be to build on their wonderful ODI showing. Heather Knight’s team scored at an incredible 7.01 runs per over in the three recent ODIs, and will be looking to take it up a notch in these T20Is. Strap in, this should be fun.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

England:

  • Watch out for Sophia Dunkley in this series. She was outstanding in the ODIs, smashing 180 runs at an average of 60.00 and strike rate of 105.88. This includes a fifty and hundred.

South Africa:

  • Laura Wolvaardt, the world number four in T20Is, will be key for the visitors. The batter struck two consecutive fifties in the ODIs after a terrific World Cup campaign earlier in the year.
  • Marizanne Kapp is also crucial to South Africa’s hopes. She also scored two fifties in the ODIs. Surprisingly, her T20 numbers against England are poor (batting avg. 12.75, bowling average 63.00), but as she showed in her great performance in the Test, she can produce the goods at any moment.
  • Mignon du Preez has the most runs of any current SA squad player against England in T20Is (252). She has scored these runs at an average of 21.00 and a strike rate of 92.65, which she will be aiming to improve on.
  • Shabnim Ismail has the most wickets for SA against England (11). She averages 33.00 with an economy rate of 7.41, so can she improve on these numbers here?
  • Nadine de Klerk took the most wickets for SA in the ODI series (5), although she was very expensive (econ. 7.84).
