• Will Jacks was among the best batters of The Hundred 2023. He is known for his explosive batting and expect some fireworks again in the powerplay. He can also contribute with the ball if required.
• Phil Salt has 460 runs at an average of 38.33 and a strike rate of 125.68 in 12 ODI innings thus far. Salt has also amassed two fifties and a century. Another good outing might well be on the cards.
• Joe Root will be batting at his home ground, so expect a fine knock from the veteran again. In three ODI innings against Ireland, Root has 129 runs at an average of 64.50 and a strike rate of 98.47. He also made a fifty.
• Rehan Ahmed can trouble the Irish batters with his variations. He has got a threatening googly. Rehan has worked on his lengths and pace, so there is a chance of him being among the wickets throughout this series.

• Curtis Campher has 127 runs in two ODI innings and has hit fifties in both innings against England. He has also snared five wickets at an average of 28.80 in three ODI innings against England. Ireland would hope for another all-round performance from their star all-rounder.
• Josh Little has nine wickets at a terrific average of 18.55 and a strike rate of 17.88 in three ODI innings against England. He has some experience of playing in these conditions. Expect another fine performance from Little.
