The 35th match of IPL 2025 sees the top teams go head-to-head. Gujarat Titans (GT) host Delhi Capitals (DC) in a game where the winner can take a big step towards the playoffs.

The Capitals are sitting pretty at the top with five wins in six games, and Gujarat is second with four wins in six games. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th April at 3:30 PM IST.

Delhi Capitals defeated the Rajasthan Royals in a super over in their last game. They’ve been in excellent form as a team, with their batters and bowlers performing well. Ahmedabad is known for its movement with the new ball for the pacers but it will be a day game and hence not much movement is expected for the pacers. It will be interesting to see if it’s a red-soil wicket or a black-soil one. Batters will enjoy if it’s a red-soil wicket and if not, then the spinners and bowlers will come into play. 

The big dimensions here will bring hit-the-deck bowlers and spinners into play. Scores in the range of 170-180 are expected with teams preferring to chase. Batting first won’t be a bad option either.
