Gujarat Titans (GT) will challenge the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 42nd game of IPL 2026. Narendra Modi Stadium, Bengaluru, will host this game on 30th April 2026 at 7:30 PM IST. RCB defeated GT by five wickets in their first meeting this season.

GT Titans defeated CSK in their last game by eight wickets in a much-needed win. Gujarat is very much reliant on their top four for the bulk of the scoring, but Jason Holder’s addition to the squad has given them more balance. They really need the duo of Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia to start performing going forward

Kagiso Rabada has bowled brilliantly in the last few games, while Mohammed Siraj has been in good form as well. Arshad Khan was impressive in his first game this season. Rashid Khan’s form will be of a little concern, and now is a great time to deliver.

RCB, meanwhile, have been in terrific form this season. They are second in the table with six wins in eight games, and they have the best net run rate (1.919).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazelwood blew DC away in an incredible powerplay burst. If the support bowlers can deliver more for RCB, they become even more dangerous.

IPL 2026 42nd Match: GT vs RCB Match Prediction: Who will win?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are favourites to win this game. They have good depth and quality on their side, especially with Devdutt Padikkal’s excellent form. One area they might lack is the support they need for Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans will have to be on their toes, especially with the bat in this game.
