IND vs AUS 2nd T20 2023 Dream11 Prediction Fantasy Cricket Tips Possible XI Pitch Report | IND vs AUS 2nd T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | Thiruvananthapuram Pitch Report
The timing of this series was questioned, but the entertainment in the first T20I certainly wasn’t. In a Visakhapatnam thriller, India achieved their highest ever successful run chase courtesy of more Suryakumar Yadav magic in T20s and another memorable moment for Rinku Singh. Also, the performances of Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel held things well in the eye of an Australian storm, led by Josh Inglis who hit a blinding century; the equal-fastest T20I century for Australia (47 balls).
Now, the action moves to Thiruvananthapuram with hopes of another thriller. Australia, even in defeat, showed they are more than capable of causing the hosts a problem or two. Also, there is the chance some or all of their World Cup stars will return, which will make them even more of a chance in this game.
For India, they will be seeking more control up top and in the middle order. Australia will be after more control in the middle as well. But, both showed they can restrict runs at the death, which they will both be aiming to do once again.

IND vs AUS 2nd T20 2023 Dream11 Prediction: Fantasy Cricket Tips
India:
- Yashasvi Jaiswal was looking dangerous (21 off 7 balls) before he was dismissed against the run of play in the opening match. In 26 T20s this year, Jaiswal has scored 999 runs at an average of 41.63 and strike rate of 159.84.
- Suryakumar Yadav is a must-pick in fantasy cricket teams. He is a beast in T20s. Since the start of 2022, SKY has smashed 2,585 T20 runs at an average of 47.00 and strike rate of 173.14.
- Ruturaj Gaikwad was dismissed without facing a ball in the opening T20I. It robbed him of another chance to score well, especially given he has been excellent in the powerplay in all T20s this year: 427 runs, five dismissals, strike rate: 141.86.
- Arshdeep Singh had a disappointing outing in the first T20I. But, he returns to the ground where he dominated South Africa last year. The left-armer took 3/32, dismissing left-handers Quinton de Kock, Rilee Rossouw, and David Miller.
- Axar Patel won man of the series against Australia last year. He took 1/16 in the T20I against South Africa on this ground last year.
Australia:
- Josh Inglis was outstanding in the first T20I (110 off 50 balls). He was particularly brilliant against spin, smashing 58 off 24 balls. Can he follow up with another big effort?
- Matt Short is a handy pick in fantasy teams with his all-round role. He started promisingly in the first T20I, but his batting against spin needs work. In 22 T20s since the start of 2022, Short has struck 160 runs at an average of just 9.41 and strike rate of 105.26 against spin.
- Tim David could go up against Arshdeep Singh again. He has struck 26 runs off 12 balls against the left-armer without dismissal.
- Since the start of 2022, David has struck 1,053 T20 runs between overs 17-20 at a strike rate of 204.47.
- Jason Behrendhorff was superb in the opening T20I (1/25). He has taken eight wickets in T20Is vs India at an average of 15.87 and strike rate of 6.68.
- Nathan Ellis came back well at the death in the first match. He has taken 18 wickets in nine T20Is at an average of 14.33 and economy of 7.58.
Other Stats and Facts
- India have won their past three T20Is against Australia, and five of the past seven.
- Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dismissed five times in the powerplay in eight T20Is this year. But, he does have 147 runs at an impressive strike rate of 165.2.
- Rinku Singh when chasing in T20s in 2023: 330 runs, avg. 111.00, SR 170.98.
- Steve Smith when opening in T20s: 11 inns, 563 runs, avg. 56.30, SR 156.82.
Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram Pitch Report and Weather
The chasing team has won the past two T20Is on this ground. West Indies chased India’s 170 with eight wickets and nine balls remaining in 2019. Last year, India restricted South Africa to just 106/8 courtesy of a powerplay burst by Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar. India chased the target with 20 balls and eight wickets to spare, with Suryakumar hitting an unbeaten 33-ball 50.
There is rain forecast on Saturday in Thiruvananthapuram but conditions should be mostly clear for Sunday. A top of 32 degrees and a humid evening is forecast, so dew is a possibility.
