MI vs CSK Preview Dream11 Prediction. IPL 2019 Qualifier Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings Preview Dream11 Prediction
Here we go. After 56 matches, many of which went to the last over, the playoffs are here. The top two sides, with a fine rivalry and six IPL Titles between them, kick things off with IPL’s ‘El Classico’ for a spot in Sunday’s Final.
It was either a Qualifier or Eliminator for Mumbai Indians heading into the final day of the league season. Their ability to deal with pressure held them in good stead, completely outplaying KKR, who were nervous and muddled in their thinking. Now, MI can reach the Final if they beat a side they have beaten twice already this season. Can MI do it again and gain a significant advantage?
Chennai Super Kings have yet again qualified for the playoffs. It has become child’s play for MS Dhoni’s men, reaching this phase for their 10th consecutive season. Their top two finish, like MI, is despite not playing their best cricket. Indeed, you get the feeling if these sides don’t meet again in the Final, it would be a surprise, such is their quality and experience. Can CSK shake off a last start defeat to KXIP?

Key to a MI win
MI have got the better of CSK twice this season. Both times, their bowlers were in irresistible touch, ripping through CSK’s top order and setting the game up. With CSK the worst side when it comes to powerplay scoring rates, MI have an opportunity to combine wickets and dot balls to dial up the pressure on a shaky CSK middle order. Lasith Malinga is coming off dismissing Andre Russell for a duck and Jasprit Bumrah is in the wickets. With Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar, MI have to take full advantage of the balance they possess.
Also, can Rohit Sharma repeat his fine innings in Chennai? With Quinton de Kock the aggressor early, MI need this opening stand to flourish so they have a quality start to build on against CSK’s spinners. Suryakumar Yadav spent some important time at the crease vs KKR on Sunday, and he also has a key role to play in setting the innings up, along with Ishan Kishan. Can MI get maximum impact out of Kieron Pollard and one of the players of the tournament Hardik Pandya?

Key to a CSK win
Faf du Plessis and Suresh Raina were superb against KXIP on Sunday. However, CSK need a lot more from Shane Watson, who has had an underwhelming campaign. His struggles against skiddy pace bowling will be of interest to MI, so he has to overcome Bumrah and Malinga in particular. Can he along with du Plessis ensure a sharp start? How well will CSK’s middle order, which includes the out of touch Ambati Rayudu, go? Without a doubt, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja (who missed the last game vs MI) will be key to a big total for CSK, but they need a platform.
Also, will it be the day where Deepak Chahar rediscovers his best powerplay form? Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are crucial to the MI cause, so if CSK can break this stand early, they can get the crowd behind them. Remember, MI have found it challenging in the middle overs at times in IPL 2019, so CSK have the opportunity to target this with their spinners, who have been superb at home this season. Can they also limit the impact of Hardik Pandya at the death?

Possible Playing 11
Anakul Roy could come in for Mitch McClenaghan given the Chennai conditions.
MI: 1. Rohit Sharma (c), 2. Quinton de Kock (wk), 3. Suryakumar Yadav, 4. Ishan Kishan, 5. Hardik Pandya, 6. Kieron Pollard, 7. Krunal Pandya, 8. Anakul Roy/Mitchell McClenaghan, 9. Rahul Chahar, 10. Lasith Malinga, 11. Jasprit Bumrah
Kedar Jadhav has picked up a shoulder injury, and Stephen Fleming has said that he might not play again this season.

Match Prediction
Can’t wait for this. It is truly the “El Classico” of the IPL.
CSK at Chepauk is a very hard ask, but if there is one side capable, it is MI. I feel MI’s side looks in slightly better touch, and this could be key.
MI to win.
