Two of the most successful teams meet in the 57th match of IPL 2025. However, season 18 has been anything but successful for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who sit bottom with just two wins from 11 matches. Their worst defeat came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a listless, awful display back on April 11.

But, CSK have had some positives since then. The emergence of 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre has been the shining light in a dark season, while Dewald Brevis has added some much-needed punch in the middle order.

The bowling attack has had its moments, but whether they can hold their own for the entire 20 overs remains to be seen.
