Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) know how to win the close matches. Eight days ago, Marcus Stoinis and Mohsin Khan led LSG to a thrilling five-run win over Mumbai Indians (MI), soon followed by a one-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders. Such composure in pressure moments can hold them in good stead as they prepare for their second Eliminator in as many seasons.

Last year, Rajat Patidar blew them away with a memorable 112*. MI have the players to produce something similar here, albeit at Chepauk rather than Wankhede. Cameron Green is coming off a superb ton, while Suryakumar Yadav can take the game away in an instant. So, the onus is on the Lucknow attack to hold their nerve as they have done in recent times.

• Marcus Stoinis hammered 89*(47) against MI on May 16. He has absolutely dominated Chris Jordan in the IPL, smashing 116 off 42 balls without dismissal.
• Quinton de Kock averages just 17.63 in eight innings against MI. Also, he has scored just 74 runs in seven matches at Chepauk. Can he turn these numbers around?
• Ravi Bishnoi could enjoy these conditions. The legspinner has taken five wickets in two matches at Chepauk at an economy of 6.13.
