MI vs CSK Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 12 | MI vs CSK Dream11 Prediction Today | Wankhede Pitch Report
The El Clasico of the Indian Premier League is here. Mumbai Indians take on Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium, with both teams keen to pick up vital two points in the context of IPL 2023.
MI lost their last game convincingly against Royal Challengers Bangalore by eight wickets, with their bowlers struggling for impact. Also, they would want a better show from their batters, particularly their captain Rohit Sharma at the top. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings won their previous game by 12 runs against Lucknow Super Giants at their home ground. They will look to carry on their winning run, but how their seam attack fares at the batting-friendly Wankhede remains to be seen.

Mumbai Indians:

- Suryakumar Yadav vs CSK since 2018: 287 runs, avg. 35.87 & 128.12 SR. SKY is going through a rough patch but is a match-winner in this format. A good knock might just be around the corner.
- Tilak Varma has been one of the best batters in the league since his debut last year. In the 15 innings, the Southpaw has 481 runs at a 43.72 average and a strike rate of 137.82 in the IPL. He also played a fine knock of 84 runs off just 46 deliveries against RCB with the help of nine fours and four maximums.
- Tim David is one of the most explosive T20 batters in world cricket. In 2023, David has a strike rate of 179.16 and a balls-per-boundary ratio of 4.50 in the last four overs. CSK’s bowling will also suit him.
- Jofra Archer doesn’t need any introduction. He is a proper match-winner. Archer has scalped seven wickets at a 17.71 average and an economy rate of 6.20 against Chennai Super Kings.
- Most of the CSK batters struggle against high pace. Expect Jofra to exploit this weakness.
Chennai Super Kings:

- Devon Conway played a superb knock of 47 runs in 29 balls, including five boundaries and two maximums. He is a good player of spin and can provide a rapid start in the powerplay.
- Moeen Ali won Man of the Match award against LSG in the last game for his brilliant all-round show. With the willow, he made 19 off 13 balls and later took four wickets with the ball. He is a must-pick in the fantasy team.
- Ravindra Jadeja hasn’t performed according to the expectations in the two games so far. However, his performance has been decent at Wankhede Stadium of late. Since 2019, Jadeja has had a batting average of 75 and a strike rate of 151.51 in seven innings at this ground. With the ball, Jadeja has picked up six wickets and has an economy rate of 6.23.
- Deepak Chahar can move the new ball, and the Wankhede surface often provides some movement early on. He also has 11 wickets at 20.54 balls apiece against Mumbai Indians.
