MI vs SRH Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 65 | MI vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Today | Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Key Players | Wankhede Pitch Report
Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad meet for the first time this season, and both would have been hoping that it’d be in better circumstances. While five-time champions MI have had a better run in recent games, it has still been the season from hell, while SRH have lost five straight after winning five in a row.
As a result, SRH are hanging on by a fingernail to their playoff hopes. Not only must they win this match to go within two points of the Delhi Capitals, but they need to improve their net run rate of -0.270. To do that, their batting lineup must stand up, starting with skipper Kane Williamson who has struck 208 runs this season at a very poor strike rate of 92.85.
For MI, they officially ended CSK’s campaign last game and they will aiming to do the same to SRH. The new faces have added much-needed impact to a team that lost their first eight games, and the final piece of the puzzle will be seeing the struggling Rohit Sharma get some runs under his belt.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
Mumbai Indians:
- Tilak Varma’s 368 runs is the most runs ever by a teenager in a single IPL season. He is averaging 40.88 and striking at 132.85, including 189 runs vs spin at a strike rate of 147.65 with just one dismissal.
- Ishan Kishan has a score of 84 against SRH, but averages just 26.57 in seven innings against them. Also, he has a poor record at the Wankhede, with 248 runs in 14 innings at an average of 17.71. Can he turn this around?
- Is this the day Rohit Sharma gets his first 50+ score of the year? He is always capable, but he has a poor record vs SRH: 18 inns, 277 runs, avg. 18.47, SR 124.22.
- However, Rohit is the only player with at least 2,000 T20 runs at the Wankhede. He averages 35.23 and strikes at 134.77.
- Daniel Sams has had a terrific comeback after a bad start to the season. He has taken 10 wickets in the past six matches, and has been among the top fantasy players in five of these games.
- Jasprit Bumrah took 5/10 two games ago. He has 15 wickets in 12 games vs SRH (avg. 21.53) and will be key at the backend of the innings. He has dismissed Nicholas Pooran twice in nine balls, conceding just seven.
- Kartikeya Singh has looked good, and he will be key in the middle against a team that struggles to hit sixes. He has taken 2/32 and 2/22 in his past two matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad:
- Abhishek Sharma has struck seven 30+ scores in 11 innings this season, including a 28-ball 43 last game. He has made scores of 65 and 0 at the Wankhede this season.
- Aiden Markram is SRH’s second-highest run-scorer this season, with 358 runs in 10 innings at a superb average of 59.11 and strike rate of 141.50. This includes scores of 56 and 21 at the Wankhede.
- Also, SRH could look to use Markram with the ball with a few left-handers in the MI lineup.
- Rahul Tripathi can take on the MI spinners. He has struck 108 runs vs spin this season at a strike rate of 156.52 and average of 54.00.
- T Natarajan (18 wickets in 10 matches) has had an excellent IPL 2022 campaign. Six have come in the powerplay and eight at the death (third-most).
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who also has eight wickets at the death this season, has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches vs MI at an average of 17.38 and economy rate of 6.62.
- The last three times that Ishan Kishan has been dismissed in the powerplay, it has been a left-arm seamer that has got his wicket. Marco Jansen will have the task of taking an early wicket.
- Umran Malik took a three-for in the last match, and also took 5/25 at the Wankhede earlier this season.

Unpredictable game. Both teams look better when chasing, so if the side bowling first can restrict the team batting first to below 160, they will be well placed for a win.
