Suryakumar Yadav broke the record for most consecutive 25+ scores in men’s T20s. The Mumbai Indians’ number four achieved the feat during the match against Punjab Kings on May 26 in Jaipur.

It begs the question, whose record did Surykumar beat? In this article, we will look at the players with the most consecutive scores of 25+ in men’s T20s, which includes domestic, franchise and international cricket.

Suryakumar beat Temba Bavuma’s record of 13. His consistency in IPL 2025 has been superb, making a 25+ score in every game. He finished with 717 runs at an average of 65.18 and strike rate of 167.91.

South Africa’s Bavuma achieved the feat in 2019-20, which included scores of 49, 27*, 43, 31 and 49 in his first five T20 Internationals.

Five other players have achieved 11 consecutive 25+ scores:

  • Brad Hodge put together the streak between 2005 and 2007. His fellow countryman, Chris Lynn, had his own run of 11 during the 2023-24 period.
  • South Africa’s Jacques Rudolph achieved the feat in 2014-15.
  • Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara hit 11 consecutive 25+ scores in 2015.
  • West Indies’ Kyle Mayers was the latest to join the 11 club in 2024.

Suryakumar Yadav has put together an excellent IPL 2025 campaign. At the time of writing, Suryakumar reached 610 runs at an average of 76.25.
