Cricket News: Real Madrid launch new kit: The best cricket references | The best cricket references from Real Madrid launching their new kit

Football powerhouse Real Madrid have launched their new kit for the 2022/23 La Liga season. The new kits resemble the kind we see in the World Test Championship, and cricket fans, as always, were on the ball with the references. The kind we saw in the US Election back in late 2020.

Below are some magnificent tweets, including “Ferland Mendy looks like he’s about to take 3/78 against Durham not play La Liga football” and “you gonna have to bowl some legspin with that kit on.”

David Alaba’s tweet received some epic quote tweet replies. Real Madrid look set to face Pakistan in a three-day Test match.

What about Karim Benzema? Off the long run or spin?

Or maybe even a stint in the IPL.
