After successful runs in other Indian states, a T20 League is coming to the mountains. The 2024 Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) is set to “heighten” the excitement of cricket lovers.
The latest in T20 leagues, the UPL will have separate editions for men and women. While the men’s tournament will have five teams, the women’s competition will feature three teams in the inaugural edition.
When does the Uttarakhand Premier League 2024 start?
The men’s edition of the UPL will kick off on 15th September 2024, with the finale to be held on 22nd September, 2024.
The Women UPL will begin on 18th September 2024, and will culminate on 21st September 2024.
Where To Watch UPL 2024?
All matches will be held at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. In order to encourage live viewing experience from the stadium, the tickets will be available free of cost.

Prize Money
The organizers have set a lucrative amount of INR 50 Lacs as the prize pool. The winning team of the Men’s squad will take home INR 25 Lakhs while the Women’s champions will walk away with INR 7 Lakhs.
The 1st Runners-Up of the Men and Women’s tournaments will receive INR 12 lakhs and INR 3 lakhs respectively.
Men Player of the Series will receive INR 1 lakh, whereas the Women Player of the Series will have INR 25,000.
