JSK vs PR Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – SA20 2025/26 18th Match

Joburg Super Kings (JSK) will be against the Paarl Royals (PR) in the 18th game of SA20 2025-26. The venue for this game will be the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on 8th January 2026 at 9 PM IST.

The Joburg Super Kings had their first loss of this season in the last game against MI Cape Town. Their bowlers lost track towards the death overs, and they’d like to rectify that in this game. The batters have been in good form, but they’re still far from their full potential with the bat.

Rilee Rossouw will be a big miss, but the likes of Faf du Plessis, James Vince, and Donovan Ferreira have the experience. Shubham Ranjane, Wiaan Mulder, and Matthew de Villiers will have to contribute consistently for JSK to go a long way in SA20 2025-26.

Nandre Burger’s inclusion has bolstered their pace attack. Gleeson has been bowling well, but there is still room for improvement for the JSK bowlers. Overall, they’re in good form (2nd in the points table) and will be eyeing the top spot in this game.

Paarl Royals, meanwhile, have defeated the MI Cape Town twice in their last two games. They will also be pretty confident coming into this match. Lhuan-Dre Pretorius has looked in good touch, but Asa Tribe’s form at the top is the big boost for them. Miller too has been in terrific touch.

Paarl needs consistency with the bat from the likes of Sikandar Raza, Rubin Hermann, and Kyle Verreynne. Bowling-wise, they’re doing a good job, especially Raza and Ottniel Baartman. Paarl bowled out MICT for just 88 in their last game.

With two in-form teams, this promises to be a thrilling encounter.

The Wanderers Stadium Johannesburg Pitch Report and Weather

205 runs were scored, and then the game went onto the super over in the last match played at the Wanderers Stadium. The ball will travel due to the high altitude, and a high-scoring encounter can be on the cards in this match.

The pacers will get good assistance, while the spinners, too, got some purchase in the last game played here. Scores in the range of 170-190 are expected, with teams opting to chase considering the on-field and weather conditions.

10% rain is predicted during the game, but there are high chances of a rain-interrupted game. But despite that, we should get a game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for JSK vs PR 2025/26: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Donovan Ferreira got out cheaply in the last game, but he’s been in great touch in the last year or so and will be a must in your fantasy teams. He can bat, bowl, and even keep wickets as per the situation.
  • The Royals have as many as four left-hand batters in their top 7, and JSK may use Ferreira’s bowling, which makes him an ideal C/VC choice.

Key batter picks:

  • Lhuan-Dre Pretorius has 112 runs in four innings at an average of 37.33, including a fifty. He has looked in good touch lately and will be a top fantasy pick.
  • James Vince looked in decent touch in the last match and looked to attack the bowlers. He’s an experienced campaigner and can do well in this game.
  • David Miller is the best batter for his side in this season – 116 runs in four innings at an average of 58 and has struck at 163.38, including a fifty. He can take down any bowling attack on his day and will be another excellent fantasy pick.
  • Faf du Plessis has been in terrific touch in the last couple of games. He scores consistently once he picks up his pace, and it seems that he’s done that in the last two games. Faf will look to exploit the field restrictions. He will be a good C/VC choice too.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Sikandar Raza will bowl his full quota and will be a key player with the bat for Paarl in the middle order. He has seven wickets in two matches so far. Raza will be a popular C/VC option, as he will fetch points from both batting and bowling.
  • Wian Mulder hasn’t really got the chance to bat properly in the last couple games, but he may get promoted to number 3 in this match. He’s bowling in the death overs for JSK and is someone whom you don’t want to drop from your fantasy teams.

Key bowler picks:

  • Akeal Hosein has five wickets in four games at an economy of 7.15. He can bowl in any phase of the innings and is capable with the bat too. Try him as C/VC in some of your teams.
  • Ottniel Baartman is the current highest wicket-taker of this season with 11 wickets in four games. He’s picking up wickets for fun and will bowl the important overs for the Royals.
  • Nandre Burger bowled well in the last match for JSK. He will be their lead pacer and will bowl in the powerplay and then in the death overs. He’ll be another must-pick in your fantasy teams.
  • Richard Gleeson had a bad day in the office in the last game, but he’s still a top pick. He will bowl in the middle and death overs. Try him as C/VC while bowling first.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Matthew de Villiers
  • Shubham Ranjane
  • Bjorn Forutin
  • Gudakesh Motie (if plays)
  • Asa Tribe

SA20 2025/26 18th Match: JSK vs PR Match Prediction: Who will win?

The Joburg Super Kings are looking in pretty good form as a side with almost all the players performing well. They need someone who can play a bit positively in the 7-15 overs mark, as Faf is doing a good job at the top and Ferreira is there towards the end. They may look to promote Mulder to 3 in this game.

Paarl, meanwhile, has also done well with Tribe, Pretorius, and Miller being in good touch, but they also need some consistency in the middle order.

Joburg Super Kings should win this game, as they have a good batting depth and quality compared to the Royals.

“Quite the scoreline for the weakest Australian team” – Reactions to Australia winning the Ashes 4-1

Australia sealed a 4-1 Ashes series victory courtesy of a five-wicket win in the final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), sending the retiring Usman Khawaja out on a high.

The fifth match was reflective of the series in many ways, with the hosts playing better cricket for longer, enabling them to keep their noses in front despite spurts of English resistance. Jacob Bethell’s magnificent second innings hundred had England eyeing off a competitive lead, but a host of poor dismissals from his teammates told a familiar tale.

Australia’s dominance on days two and three ultimately left England with too much to do. Centuries for Steve Smith and player of the match Travis Head underpinned a huge first innings with the bat, with Australia providing the template on how to grind an opponent down as England inexplicably dropped another host of chances. After posting 567, Australia took a strong 183-run lead.

That being said, Australia’s risky ploy of playing three frontline bowlers and no specialist spinner was an opportunity for England to post a lead of 250-plus. However, many of England’s batters – particularly Will Jacks – were shown up by the newcomer Bethell in terms of discipline and shot selection. Australia, including Beau Webster, bowled well, but England gifted way too many wickets, justifying the hosts’ decision to go with the XI they did for this match.

In the end, England were bowled out for 342 with a lead of 159 that seemed too small given Ben Stokes’ injury, Matt Potts’ struggles, Brydon Carse’s inconsistency and no specialist spinner. Jacks’ delivery to dismiss Steve Smith was the highlight of England’s second innings effort as Australia kept the door open thanks to their own set of poor dismissals.

In the end, however, Cameron Green (22*) and Alex Carey (16*) led Australia to victory with the latter hitting the winning runs.

Reactions: Australia win Ashes series 4-1 after victory at the SCG

After a few days of debating, Mitchell Starc was deservedly named man of the series. Travis Head and Alex Carey were magificent throughout, but Starc’s early exploits in Perth and Brisbane in particular put the hosts firmly in the driving seat.

The left-armer finished with a staggering 31 wickets at 19.93 to go with 159 runs and two crucial half-centuries.

“Mitchell Starc finishes the series with 31 wickets at a fraction under 20. Hell of an effort, given the absence of Cummins and Hazlewood,” wrote Daily Mail’s Lawrence Booth on X (formerly Twitter).

“4-1. It’s quite a scoreline for the ‘weakest’ Australian team that took on the ‘strongest’ English team to play The Ashes on Australian soil,” wrote former India cricketer Aakash Chopra.

“One day I will close my eyes and think back to this Ashes series. And I will see a left-handed Australian cutting an Englishman for four,” wrote journalist Cameron Ponsonby.

Here are some of the reactions to Australia’s comprehensive win.

Attention will turn to T20 cricket in the next few months for players from both nations, including the T20 World Cup and Indian Premier League. England’s next Test will be against New Zealand in June, while Australia take on Bangladesh in Darwin and Mackay in August.

5th Ashes Test breaks record for crowd attendance at the SCG

Dead rubber? Tell that to cricket fans in Sydney.

The fifth Ashes Test at the SCG broke the record for total attendance at the ground. For the first time in history, a cumulative crowd of over 200,000 attended a Test. The final figure was 211,032.

As reported by The Canberra Times, the previous record was 195,253 back in December 1946. That was a six-day encounter which Australia won by an innings and 33 runs. The great Sir Donald Bradman hit 234 in Australia’s mammoth total of 659/8 declared.

Total attendance of over 200,000 breaks record for a Test match at the SCG

The SCG Test comes as welcome relief to fans and Cricket Australia (CA). The financial impact of two-day Tests in Perth and Melbourne was widely reported, as was the future of Test cricket given some of the batting quality on display.

However, the fifth Test lasted beyond lunch on the final day. The opening four days were sold out, and the price of admission on day five was $30, with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.

There was some gripping cricket across the five days at the SCG. Joe Root notched up his second Test century on Australian soil before Travis Head and Steve Smith reponded with centuries of their own in Australia’s huge score of 567.

Jacob Bethell then announced himself as a star of the future with a magnificent 154 in the second innings. His knock gave England hope of setting a competitive total on a wearing pitch, but poor batting by his teammates, an injury to Ben Stokes and no specialist spinner means Australia were always favourites to take the series 4-1.

STA vs SIX Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – BBL 2025/26 27th Match

We have had a number of thrillers in the BBL in recent times, and we could be in for another here. Melbourne Stars take on Sydney Sixers in a high-profile clash at the MCG with a lot at stake.

After winning their first four matches (all chasing), the Stars have hit a wall. The Marcus Stoinis-led side have lost their past two games, where they batted first in both. With the Sixers, Strikers, Renegades and Heat just behind on six points, the Stars need to get back on track here.

The Sixers have an incredibly long batting lineup which came to the fore in a low-scoring thriller against the Heat. Chasing 115, they fell to 56/7, before Joel Davies and Hayden Kerr put on a superb partnership under pressure to seal victory.

Now, Sam Curran joins the Sixers squad to give them an even stronger feel. They bat all the way down to 11, so the Stars’ bowlers need to be on their game from over one to 20.

BBL 2025/26 27th Match: STA vs SIX Possible Playing XIs

Melbourne Stars have named an unchanged squad. They could name the same XI that lost narrowly to the Renegades.

Melbourne Stars: 1. Thomas Rogers, 2. Sam Harper (wk), 3. Campbell Kellaway, 4. Glenn Maxwell, 5. Marcus Stoinis (c), 6. Hilton Cartwright, 7. Blake Macdonald, 8. Tom Curran (OS), 9. Mitchell Swepson, 10. Haris Rauf (OS), 11. Peter Siddle

Sam Curran is in the Sixers squad, coming in for Kane Richardson. Who he replaces is an interesting decision as Kerr was excellent in the last match.

Sydney Sixers: 1. Daniel Hughes, 2. Babar Azam (OS), 3. Josh Philippe (wk), 4. Moises Henriques (c), 5. Jordan Silk, 6. Sam Curran (OS), 7. Joel Davies, 8. Jack Edwards, 9. Ben Dwarshuis, 10. Sean Abbott, 11. Ben Manenti/Hayden Kerr

MCG Pitch Report and Weather

Teams batting first have managed scores of 158/9 and 173/9 batting first on balanced pitches at the MCG this season. The chasing team won both times, although Renegades beat Stars in a very close encounter on Sunday.

Pace bowlers have taken a total of 17 wickets at the MCG in BBL 2025/26 at an average of 27.11 and economy of 9.31. Spinners have picked up five wickets at an average of 32.6 and economy of 7.76.

A warm and mostly clear evening is forecast in Melbourne. No rain is expected, but there is a chance of dew.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for STA vs SIX 2025/26: Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Sam Harper smashed 110* off 60 balls against the Sixers earlier this season. He is a C/VC candidate in fantasy cricket especially if the Stars bat second. Harper has struck 194 runs when batting second at an average of 194 and strike rate of 157.7 in BBL 2025/26.
  • Josh Philippe hasn’t scored a half-century against the Stars since 2021. Also, he has scored just 27 runs in his past three innings at the MCG. Will today be his day? He is currently the Sixers’ top run-scorer this season (196).

Key batter picks:

  • Glenn Maxwell has smashed 812 runs against the Sixers at an average of 45.1 and strike rate of 161.8. In matches against the Sixers at the MCG, the average increases to 66.6 with a strike rate of 170.7 (466 runs). Also, Maxwell has a strike rate of 207.7 against Ben Dwarshuis (162 runs) and 171.6 against Sean Abbott (115 runs).

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Marcus Stoinis has scored 399 runs at an average of 33 and strike rate of 150 against the Sixers. 147 of these came in a single innings in 2020. He also has six wickets in five innings, including a good matchup against Josh Philippe (see below).
  • Tom Curran can score even more fantasy points if Stoinis uses him at the death. That being said, Curran has taken four powerplay wickets this season at an excellent economy of 8.50 and strike rate of 12. He has a good record against Babar Azam (see below).
  • Joel Davies is having a season to remember. He has scores of 34* and 35* in his past two matches plus eight wickets in his last five appearances.
  • Jack Edwards is the equal-third highest wicket-taker this season (11). However, he will be looking to improve on his bowling average of 53.5 in five matches against the Stars (two wickets, 107 runs conceded).

Key bowler picks:

  • Haris Rauf and Peter Siddle have the second-most wickets this season (12). Siddle took 3/23 against the Sixers in the previous meeting.
  • Sean Abbott has taken 22 wickets in 16 innings against the Stars. Ben Dwarshuis has 21 scalps in 17 innings against the Stars.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Sam Curran is fresh off a player of the match performance in Sunday’s UAE ILT20 Final. He struck 74* off 51 balls.
  • Babar Azam has four single-figure scores and two half-centuries in this BBL. His inconsistency does not make him an automatic pick, but he is worth a try in a few of your fantasy teams as he has the experience to make a contribution.
  • Daniel Hughes is a popular pick on Dream11 (66.46%). He scored 60 against the Stars earlier this season. However, against the Stars at the MCG, Hughes has scored 152 runs at an average of 19 and strike rate of 120.6 with no half century as yet.
  • Campbell Kellaway is a solid pick especially if the Stars bat first as this will likely mean he bats in the top three. Only Harper (251) and Stoinis (153) have more runs for the Stars than Kellaway’s 145 in BBL 2025/26.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 25, Stars 10, Sixers 15.
  • At the MCG: Sixers 7, Stars 5.
  • Melbourne Stars (145/3) beat Sydney Sixers (144) with 15 balls to spare earlier in BBL 2025/26.
  • Marcus Stoinis has dismissed Sam Curran twice in 17 balls in T20s (13 runs).
  • Tom Curran vs Babar Azam in all T20s: 55 balls, 51 runs, two dismissals.
  • Marcus Stoinis vs Josh Philippe: 11 balls, 11 runs, two dismissals.
  • Tom Curran vs Josh Philippe: Eight balls, 12 runs, one dismissal.
  • Sean Abbott vs Sam Harper: 25 balls, 40 runs, no dismissals.
  • Sean Abbott vs Glenn Maxwell: 67 balls, 115 runs, four dismissals.
  • Sam Curran vs Marcus Stoinis: 32 balls, 58 runs, two dismissals.
  • Ben Dwarshuis vs Sam Harper: 30 balls, 63 runs, three dimissals.
  • Peter Siddle vs Moises Henriques: 41 balls, 41 runs, two dismissals.

DSG vs PC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – SA20 2025/26 16th Match

Durban Super Giants (DSG) will lock horns against the Pretoria Capitals (PC). Kingsmead, Durban will host this game on 7th January 2026 at 9 PM IST.

DSG are 4th in the points table with one win, two losses, and a couple of washed-out games. Their big names – Jos Buttler, Kane Williamson, Heinrich Klaasen, and Aiden Markram – have failed miserably until now, which is a big concern.

However, they’ve added the likes of Liam Livingstone and Sunil Narine, who will bolster their batting as well as bowling. Durban has an experienced squad, and they’ll be eager to get back on track in this match.

Meanwhile, the Pretoria Capitals are 5th in the table with one win, three losses, and a washed-out match. Bowling is their biggest issue, as the batters, despite a lean phase for the top order, are doing well. The likes of Sherfane Rutherford, Wihan Lubbe, and Dewald Brevis have done a good job.

Jordan Cox should be available for selection in this game, and the Capitals will expect him to continue his good touch here in the SA20.

Overall, both sides are struggling with their own issues, so it promises to be an exciting, competitive contest between them.

SA20 2025/26 16th Match: DSG vs PC Probable Playing XIs

Durban Super Giants: 1. Aiden Markram (c), 2. Kane Williamson/Sunil Narine, 3. Jos Buttler (wk), 4. Heinrich Klaasen, 5. Liam Livingstone, 6. Eve Jones, 7. David Wiese, 8. Eathan Bosch, 9. Daryn Dupavillon, 10. Noor Ahmad, 11. Kwena Maphaka

Pretoria Capitals: 1. Shai Hope (wk), 2. Bryce Parsons, 3. Jordan Cox, 4. Dewald Brevis, 5. Wihan Lubbe, 6. Sherfane Rutherford, 7. Andre Russell, 8. Lizaad Williams, 9. Keshav Maharaj (c), 10. Tymal Mills, 11. Lungi Ngidi

Kingsmead Durban Pitch Report and Weather

The last game played here in Durban saw the home side bowled out for just 88 runs. Spinners are expected to get good assistance in this game too. There will be some help for the pacers with the new ball and for those who use good variations. A tacky wicket is expected, with the batters needing to settle in before playing their shots.

The average first innings score here in 2025 was 125 runs compared to 176 runs from 2024. Teams are expected to prefer chasing.

It will be a cloudy day with a 10% chance of rain at the start of the game. But, we should get a full game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for DSG vs PC: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Jos Buttler has only 47 runs in three innings this season. He’s not in form, but he’s a quality batter and will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Heinrich Klaasen too has been out of touch for some time now. He has only 54 runs in three games, but like Buttler, Klaasen is someone whom you don’t want to miss from your fantasy teams. He is the highest run-scorer at Kingsmead and will be itching to do well in this match.
  • Jordan Cox, if he plays, will be an excellent pick for fantasy cricket. He’s been in great form since the last ‘Hundred’ tournament and can fetch plenty of points in fantasy cricket.

Key batter picks:

  • Sherfane Rutherford has 119 runs in three innings at an average of 119 and a strike rate of 212.50, including 11 sixes to his name. He’s been in excellent touch down the order and can also roll his arm if needed.
  • Dewald Brevis has been far from his best this season, but with the likes of Rutherford, Russell, and now Cox in the side, he can bat more freely. Brevis can take down any bowling attack on his day, and he will be someone you can back for this match.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Aiden Markram averages 16.57 in four innings at Durban in SA20 for his 66 runs. But he’s been in good form recently and will bowl a few overs too. Markram will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Andre Russell was dismissed early, and he was expensive with the ball in the last game, but he will contribute with both bat and ball, which makes him a top fantasy pick. Russell is a proven champion with both bat and ball. You can try him as C/VC in some of your teams.
  • Liam Livingstone is expected to be available for the Super Giants. He’ll surely bowl 2-3 overs and will be a key batter for Durban, especially considering the lean phase of their star batters.
  • Livingstone was in good form in the ILT20, and he’s a must in your fantasy teams. He will be a safe C/VC choice as well.

Key bowler picks:

  • Noor Ahmad has the most wickets at Durban in SA20, with 15 wickets in nine games. He is a genuine wicket-taker and will fetch plenty of points on his day. Noor will fancy his chances against the likes of Rutherford, Russell, and Livingstone. Try him as captain in a few of your teams.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Sunil Narine is also available for selection for the Durban Super Giants. He can also contribute with both bat and ball. Narine is a legend in the shortest format and will be a must if he plays.

Alternative picks you can consider:

  • Keshav Maharaj
  • Lizaad Williams
  • Kwena Maphaka
  • Lungi Ngidi

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Andre Russell vs Noor Ahmad (T20s): 34 deliveries, 37 runs, and 4 dismissals
  • Sherfane Rutherford vs Noor Ahmad (T20s): 30 deliveries, 29 runs, and 3 dismissals.
  • Jos Buttler vs Keshav Maharaj (T20s): 17 deliveries, 16 runs, and 2 dismissals
  • Kane Williamson vs Andre Russell (T20s): 8 deliveries, 10 runs, and 2 dismissals

SA20 2025/26 16th Match: DSG vs PC Match Prediction: Who will win?

Both sides are struggling, but Pretoria’s bowling is not giving a lot of confidence at the moment, and while Durban’s top order is struggling with the bat, this is the perfect game for them to get back in touch.

Durban has better quality and depth in their squad, and they should win this match.

Muhammad Rizwan interview: Travis Head plays T20 in Test Cricket

Muhammad Rizwan is currently one of the most popular players from Pakistan. His presence in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) has resulted in a massive boost in the viewership and fan following for the league.

Whenever the Melbourne Renegades have played this season, fans have come in large numbers to see him bat. It was at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where Rizwan scored a 38-ball 41 in the second innings during the Will Sutherland-led side’s thrilling win against the Melbourne Stars. The MCG was filled with fans of the Pakistani superstar and thus, he had even come out after the game to sign autographs and click selfies.

During an exclusive interview with Arvind Kalyana Krishnan for CricBlog after the aformentioned match at the MCG, Muhammad Rizwan acknowledged the love he has received in Australia and expressed gratitude towards his fans. Further on, he spoke about playing against his Pakistani teammates like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf in the BBL.

Rizwan then jokingly spoke about Travis Head’s exploits in the longest format of the game. When asked about the evolution of T20 cricket, he stated that Travis Head’s performances in Tests have been more explosive than T20 cricket. As for Rizwan, he’s yet to unleash his best in the BBL 2025-26 and thus, his fans would hope that he gets back to the groove soon.

Muhammad Rizwan interview: Support from Pakistan fans is fantastic

Below is the text and video versions of the interview between Arvind Kalyana Krishnan and Muhammad Rizwan for CricBlog:

Arvind Kalyana Krishnan: You have so many fans in Australia and you’re receiving so much of love from them. So how do you feel while playing in the BBL?

Muhammad Rizwan: See, if we talk about fans then with God’s grace there’s a lot of them outside Australia too! We get love from everywhere and may God always keep them happy. They’re a lot over here too, I mean, if you talk about Melbourne, then you can see that there were almost 70,000 crowd during the game (Melbourne derby). Among them if you see they’ll be many people from Pakistan. Even behind you you can see fans (points towards the crowd) and even on my side you can see fans. I mean, thanks to God we have always received love from them and may God always keep them happy.

Arvind Kalyana Krishnan: Now in the BBL there are so many players from Pakistan playing like Babar Azam and Shaheen…..So when you play against them during the match, or even after the match, do you tell them anything like “See, today my team’s gonna beat your team” or anything like that?

Muhammad Rizwan: No no, no such conversations take place. Because they’ve come here to perform, I’ve come here to perform, so what matters is how you have to play according to the given situation on that day. In the opposition if it’s Shaheen or Bobsy (Babar) so we know what to expect. Like for example, it was now Haris Rauf, so I know his tricks and he knows mine, so he must have discussed it with his team  and even I might have discussed it with my team…..So these things happen but going to someone and telling them that we’ll do this and that, such banters and all we don’t have it here. It might happen elsewhere but not with us.

Arvind Kalyana Krishnan: T20s have now become more difficult. It’s now become fast. So do you think that T20s have now changed?

Muhammad Rizwan: Now with the way Travis Head is playing Test matches, if you see, he’s playing it faster than T20s… What are you going to do about that? (laughs).

SCO vs REN Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – BBL 2025/26 26th Match

Melbourne Renegades, fresh off a thrilling derby win over the Melbourne Stars, travel to Perth to take on second-placed Perth Scorchers. It is a vital game for the Renegades as they have games in hand on the teams above them, so a good run of form will put them firmly in contention for the top four.

The Scorchers have won four from six games, including an excellent comeback victory over Adelaide Strikers on January 4. Their deep batting lineup is coming to the fore, and the bowling attack is constantly improving.

An interesting game awaits at Perth Stadium. Spin has proven to be a big factor on a ground where the pace bowlers traditionally dominate, so it will be fascinating to see how the surface plays today.

BBL 2025/26 26th Match: SCO vs REN Possible Playing XIs

According to ESPNcricinfo’s Alex Malcolm, Finn Allen (finger) and Laurie Evans (hamstring) missed the Scorchers’ last game due to injury. As of Wednesday morning, the Scorchers hadn’t officially named their squad for this match.

Perth Scorchers: 1. Mitchell Marsh, 2. Sam Fanning/Finn Allen, 3. Cooper Connolly, 4. Aaron Hardie, 5. Ashton Turner (c), 6. Joel Curtis (wk), 7. Nick Hobson, 8. Ashton Agar, 9. Joel Paris, 10. Brody Couch, 11. Mahli Beardman

Caleb Jewell replaces Harry Dixon in the Renegades squad. But, they could stick with the same XI that defeated the Melbourne Stars on Sunday.

Melbourne Renegades: 1. Josh Brown, 2. Tim Seifert (OS), 3. Muhammad Rizwan (OS, wk), 4. Jake Fraser-McGurk, 5. Hassan Khan (OS), 6. Oliver Peake, 7. Will Sutherland (c), 8. Matthew Spoors, 9. Gurinder Sandhu, 10. Callum Stow, 11. Jason Behrendhorff

Perth Stadium Pitch Report and Weather

Surprisingly, spinners have had a say at Perth Stadium this BBL season. Spin bowlers have taken 19 wickets at an average of 16.47 and economy of 7.83. Pacers have picked up 21 wickets at 23.04/8.27.

Teams have scored 113 (11 overs), 150/8 and 153/8 batting first on this ground in BBL 2025/26. The chasing team has won twice, but batting first can be an attractive option today.

A clear and warm afternoon is forecast with a top of 28 degrees. Dew won’t be a factor as this match begins at 4:15pm local time.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for SCO vs REN 2025/26: Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Tim Seifert looks the best keeper pick especially if Finn Allen is unavailable. He missed out in the last two matches but is capable of a big score. Since the start of 2025, Seifert has scored 1,659 T20 runs at an average of 32.5 and strike rate of 148.7.

Key batter picks:

  • Josh Brown has smashed 153 runs off his last 80 deliveries in his past three matches.
  • Mitchell Marsh struck a century two matches ago. The opener has scored 305 runs in 12 matches against the Renegades at an average of 33.89 and strike rate of 130.90.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Cooper Connolly bats in the top three and will be one of Perth’s key bowlers as spinners have performed well on this ground. He is striking at 153.98 with the bat (174 runs, avg. 29) and has seven wickets this season.
  • Aaron Hardie smashed 94* earlier this month and has picked up six wickets in the past three matches.
  • Will Sutherland showed nerves of steel against the Stars and is key as an experienced member of the Renegades attack. He has nine wickets in as many innings against the Scorchers to go with 158 runs at an average of 39.50 and strike rate of 139.82.

Key bowler picks:

  • Joel Paris has overall figures of 6/73 off 10.3 overs at Perth Stadium this season. His matchup against Josh Brown (see below) is key.
  • Gurinder Sandhu is yet to go wicketless in BBL 2025/26, taking ten wickets in five matches, including six in his past two encounters. He bowls at the death which brings wicket-taking opportunities.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Ashton Turner is a handy pick especially if the Scorchers bat first. He averages just 18.33 against the Renegades, but he comes into this match in good form with scores of 99* (41) and 28 (14) since December 30. He could also bowl a few overs.
  • Muhammad Rizwan offers fantasy potential as he bats in the top three, but he has struggled to get going, striking at just 103.12 this season.
  • Hassan Khan will be called upon with his spin and can strike a few blows down the order. He is worth trying in some of your Dream11 teams.
  • Jason Behrendhorff has 43 wickets in 31 matches at Perth Stadium. He averages 18.26 with an economy of 6.83.
  • Finn Allen is striking at 187.50 this season.

MICT vs JSK Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – SA20 2025/26 15th Match

MI Cape Town (MICT) will lock horns against the Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in the 15th match of SA20 2025/26. The game will be played at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on 6th January 2026 at 9 PM IST.

MI Cape Town is the only side yet to register their first win this season. The defending champions are at the bottom of the table with four defeats and one washed-out game. Their middle order has been abysmal, and it’s the main reason for their poor performance.

They were bundled out for just 88 runs in their last game. Ryan Rickelton is doing all the work with the bat. The likes of Nicholas Pooran, Rassie van der Dussen, Jason Smith, and others need to take responsibility too.

Bowling-wise, the lack of wickets from Trent Boult, Corbin Bosch, and even Rashid Khan has hurt the side. Overall, MI will have to perform as a team if they are to register their first win.

The Joburg Super Kings, on the other hand, are second in the points table with three wins and a washed-out game. They defeated the Durban Super Giants in a super over thriller in their last game. Contrary to MI, JSK has been playing as a team with all the players contributing.

Despite that, they still need consistency from the middle order and bowlers as well. JSK will be eyeing their fourth win of the tournament.

SA20 2025/26 15th Match: MICT vs JSK Probable Playing XIs

MI Cape Town: 1. Rassie van der Dussen, 2. Ryan Rickelton, 3. Reeza Hendricks, 4. Nicholas Pooran (wk), 5. Jason Smith, 6. Tom Moores/Dwaine Pretorius, 7. George Linde, 8. Corbin Bosch, 9. Rashid Khan (c), 10. Kagiso Rabada, 11. Trent Boult,

Joburg Super Kings: 1. Faf du Plessis (c), 2. James Vince, 3. Matthew de Villiers/Rivaldo Moonsamy (wk), 4. Rilee Rossouw, 5. Wiaan Mulder, 6. Shubham Ranjane, 7. Donovan Ferreira, 8. Dian Forrester, 9. Akeal Hosein, 10. Prenalen Subrayan, 11. Reece Topley

Newlands Cape Town Pitch Report and Weather

We saw MI getting bowled out for just 88 runs in the last game played here. There was good assistance for the spinners, and the pacers also got some help with the new ball. But overall, the wicket is expected to be batting friendly. The average first innings score here in 2025 was 179 runs in T20s.

Scores in the range of 160-180 are expected, and teams should prefer chasing. Light rain is expected at the start of the game, so we may see a rain-interrupted game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for MICT vs JSK 2025/26: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Nicholas Pooran has been far from his usual best this season, but he’s a quality batter and will be a must in your fantasy teams. A big knock is due for Pooran, and he’ll be itching to do well in this match.
  • Ryan Rickelton is currently the highest run-scorer of this edition, with 199 runs in 4 innings at an average of 49.75. His strike rate is 168.6, including a hundred to his name.
  • Donovan Ferreira is doing everything for JSK, from batting and bowling to wicketkeeping. He’s a must in your fantasy teams, as he can change the course of the game on his own.
  • Ferreira first scored 33* off just 10 deliveries, picked up a wicket, and then did a run-out on the last ball to take the game into the super over. He will be a top C/VC choice as well.

Key batter picks:

  • Rassie van der Dussen has looked in decent touch in the last two games. He scored 59 in the second-to-last match. Rassie will hold one end and can play a long innings.
  • Faf du Plessis scored 47 in the last game. He looked pretty confident at the crease and can score big in this match. Faf will look to exploit the field restrictions and will be a must in your fantasy teams. You can try him as captain also.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • George Linde will bowl his full quota and can hit a long ball. He will be a must in your fantasy teams considering his multi-skill set and JSK’s right-hand-heavy batting unit.
  • Wiaan Mulder couldn’t get going with the bat in the last game, but he’s a key player for JSK. He will contribute with both bat and ball. Mulder will be a popular C/VC choice for this match.
  • Shubham Ranjane scored 51* runs in the last game. He held JSK’s innings when things started to go off track for the side. Ranjane will bat at 5, he’s a good player of spin bowling and can attack when needed.

Key bowler picks:

  • Rashid Khan can trouble JSK’s middle order, and he’s capable with the bat. After a poor start, he’s looked in good rhythm in the last two matches. Rashid will be a top fantasy pick.
  • Richard Gleeson was the hero for JSK in the last game, as he pulled things back in his team’s favour with two wickets in an over. He will bowl in the middle and death overs and is someone you can’t miss in your fantasy teams. Try him as C/VC in some of your teams.
  • Akeal Hosein is another must pick player for this game. He can bowl in any phase of the innings and is more than capable with the bat. Akeal will fancy his chances against MI’s struggling middle order.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Kagiso Rabada
  • Trent Boult
  • Bjorn Forutin
  • James Vince
  • Matthew de Villiers

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Faf du Plessis vs Trent Boult (T20s): 184 balls, 244 runs, 5 dismissals.
  • Faf du Plessis vs Rashid Khan (T20s): 73 balls, 61 runs, 3 dismissals
  • Faf du Plessis vs Kagiso Rabada (T20s): 68 balls, 91 runs, 6 dismissals.
  • Rilee Rossouw vs Rashid Khan (T20s): 53 balls, 50 runs, 4 dismissals.

SA20 2025/26 15th Match: MICT vs JSK Match Prediction: Who will win?

MI Cape Town are struggling very badly as a team. Their batters are not scoring runs consistently, and the bowlers too have been ill-disciplined with the ball. Meanwhile, the Joburg Super Kings have played as a unit so far, with different players contributing in all three games so far.

Looking at current form, the Joburg Super Kings should win this game.

STR vs THU Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – BBL 2025/26 25th Match

Sydney Thunder are officially in must-win territory. Last year’s finalists sit bottom of the BBL 2025/26 table after six matches, and have a terrible net run rate of -1.429. They are currently four points outside the top four, and desperately need a win to keep their season alive.

It won’t be easy against an Adelaide Strikers team also searching for a win. They are currently sixth on the table but have a game in hand on fourth-placed Sydney Sixers. Matt Short’s team missed an opportunity in Perth a few nights ago, collapsing in a heap in their run chase of 154.

On New Years’ Eve, however, they thumped the Brisbane Heat on the back of their bowling, and they will be looking to do the same here. David Warner is the key player after the Thunder captain hit a magnificent 130* in the last match. Also, the Strikers’ batters have an opportunity to perform as the Thunder attack is firing blanks.

BBL 2025/26 25th Match: STR vs THU Possible Playing XIs

Hassan Ali is back in the Adelaide Strikers squad, in place of Tabraiz Shamsi. Strikers may be tempted to play Henry Thornton who has 10 wickets in five matches against Sydney Thunder at an average of 9.5.

Adelaide Strikers: 1. Matt Short (c), 2. Chris Lynn, 3. Mackenzie Harvey (wk), 4. Jason Sangha/Alex Ross, 5. Liam Scott, 6. Harry Manenti, 7. Jamie Overton (OS), 8. Jerssis Wadia, 9. Luke Wood (OS), 10. Hassan Ali (OS), 11. Lloyd Pope

David Willey has been named as Shadab Khan’s international replacement player. He is in the squad and will slot in the XI in place of Shadab, who will feature in Pakistan’s upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka.

Sydney Thunder: 1. Matthew Gilkes, 2. David Warner (c), 3. Sam Konstas, 4. Sam Billings (OS, wk), 5. Nic Maddinson, 6. Daniel Sams, 7. David Willey (OS), 8. Chris Green, 9. Nathan McAndrew, 10. Tom Andrews/Tanveer Sangha, 11. Wes Agar/Ryan Hadley

Adelaide Oval Pitch Report and Weather

Teams batting first have managed scores of 155/8 and 121 batting first in BBL 2025/26. The chasing team won both.

The pace bowlers have enjoyed proceedings at the Adelaide Oval this season. They have picked up 22 wickets at an average of 16.73 and economy of 7.22. Spinners have picked up just two wickets at an average of 91.00 and economy of 8.67.

A warm and clear evening is forecast. Expect the team who wins the toss to bowl first.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for STR vs THU 2025/26: Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Matt Gilkes opens the batting and is the best wicket-keeper pick as a result, especially as Sam Billings is struggling for form. Gilkes has a score of 93 against the Strikers, but just 34 runs in the remaining six innings.

Key batter picks:

  • Chris Lynn has plenty of past success against Sydney Thunder. He has 669 runs at an average of 39.35 and strike rate of 160.05. Lynn also has a number of good matchups (49 off 29 balls against Nathan McAndrew with one dismissal, 47 runs off 31 balls against Daniel Sams with one dismissal).
  • David Warner is fresh off an outstanding 130* against the Hobart Hurricanes. Warner enjoys batting at the Adelaide Oval in T20s: 5 inns, 194 runs, avg. 48.5, SR 149.2.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • This is a great opportunity for Matt Short against a struggling Thunder attack. He has 339 runs against the Thunder at an average of 28.25 and strike rate of 143.64.
  • Daniel Sams has been expensive this season (econ. 10.25) but has been in the wickets (seven scalps in his last two matches). Sams also has 18 wickets in 13 innings against the Strikers.
  • Liam Scott is getting more overs under his belt. Two matches ago on this ground, Scott won man of the match for his spell of 2/12. He also bats in the top five.
  • Jamie Overton has seven wickets in three innings against the Thunder (avg. 11.86, econ. 7.55). He also has 15 wickets at the Adelaide Oval (avg. 22.5, SR 16).

Key bowler picks:

  • Luke Wood has been excellent in the powerplay this season, taking three wickets at an economy of 7.88 in this period. He has a good record against David Warner in all T20s, dismissing him twice for 24 runs in 28 balls.
  • Since the start of 2025, Hassan Ali has taken 60 T20 wickets at an average of 17.8 and strike rate of 11.7.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Lloyd Pope has bowled nicely this season, but keep in mind he has found it more difficult at Adelaide Oval this season, taking a total of 1/63 off seven overs.
  • Sam Billings is key for the Thunder and needs to deliver. He has scored 191 runs against Strikers at an average of 27.29 and strike rate of 139.42.
  • Sam Konstas has not reached any great heights so far in this tournament, but has the potential to do so. He is worth considering in some of your Dream11 teams.
  • Mackenzie Harvey bats in the top three and can build fantasy points as he dons the wicket-keeping gloves.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 24, Strikers 12, Thunder 10, N/R 2.
  • At Adelaide Oval: Strikers 5, Thunder 5.
  • Nathan McAndrew against Adelaide Strikers: 10 inns, 5 wickets, avg. 58.40, econ. 9.42.
  • David Willey took just two wickets in his last seven matches in the recent UAE ILT20. But, he has dismissed Matt Short twice in two deliveries in T20s.
  • Jamie Overton vs Matt Gilkes: three balls, no runs, two wickets.
  • Nathan McAndrew vs Matt Short in T20s: 29 balls, 41 runs, one wicket.
  • Daniel Sams vs Matt Short in T20s: 40 balls, 74 runs, one wicket.
  • Chris Green vs Chris Lynn in T20s: 44 balls, 66 runs, two wickets.
  • David Willey vs Chris Lynn in T20s: 50 balls, 62 runs, one wicket.

PC vs SEC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – SA20 2025/26 14th Match

Pretoria Capitals (PC) and Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) meet for the second time in SA20 2025/26. Sunrisers won the first encounter by 48 runs. SuperSport Park in Centurion will host this game on 14th January 2026 at 9:00 PM IST.

The Pretoria Capitals’ last game was washed out, but they were brilliant against MI Cape Town in the game before that. Batting first, they scored 220 runs thanks to brilliant contributions from Wihan Lubbe (60 runs), Dewald Brevis (36* runs), and Sherfane Rutherford (47* runs).

It was a six-hitting spree from Brevis and Rutherford, combining for 10 sixes between them in 28 deliveries. Rutherford then picked up four wickets as well, with Keshav Maharaj picking up three. Pretoria will look to continue their winning momentum in this game.

Sunrisers also had their last game washed out. They’ve been in top form and are looking pretty balanced with almost all players performing well. Skipper Tristan Stubbs’ form is a concern, but others have done well.

Quinton de Kock, Jordan Hermann, and Matthew Breetzke have been in good touch, but the middle order looks fragile with Stubbs’ being out of form’ struggles. They added Patrick Kruger and James Coles to strengthen their batting.

Their bowlers, especially the pacers, have been in excellent rhythm. The spin department looks a bit lighter, but they’ve got options who can be useful. The Sunrisers will look to do a double on the Capitals in this game.

SA20 2025/26 14th Match: PC vs SEC Probable Playing XIs

Pretoria Capitals: 1. Will Smeed/Connor Esterhuizen, 2. Bryce Parsons, 3. Shai Hope (wk), 4. Dewald Brevis, 5. Wihan Lubbe, 6. Sherfane Rutherford, 7. Andre Russell, 8. Lizaad Williams, 9. Keshav Maharaj (c), 10. Tymal Mills, 11. Lungi Ngidi

Sunrisers Eastern Cape: 1. Quinton de Kock (wk), 2. Jonny Bairstow, 3. Matthew Breetzke, 4. Jordan Hermann, 5. Tristan Stubbs (c), 6. Marco Jansen, 7. James Coles, 8. Patrick Kruger, 9. Lutho Sipamla, 10. Adam Milne, 11. Anrich Nortje

SuperSport Park Centurion Pitch Report and Weather

SuperSport Park is a good venue for batting. The average first innings score here was 167 runs in T20s in 2025.

Chasing sides have won 47% of the games here (in the last 5 years). There will be some movement for the pacers with the new ball, and spinners will also come into play. Teams are expected to prefer chasing.

Rain is expected throughout the day at Centurion and we might see a rain-shortened or even a washed out game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for PC vs SEC: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Quinton de Kock (126 runs) is the third-highest run scorer of SA20 2025/26 at an average of 42. He’s striking at 163.64, and has a fifty to his name.
  • De Kock scored 77 in the first game against Pretoria this season and will be someone you can’t miss in your fantasy teams.
  • Shai Hope is due a big knock, and this might be the game where he does that. He is batting at a high strike rate but has failed to convert his starts into a big score. Try him as C/VC in one of your teams.

Key batter picks:

  • Dewald Brevis was phenomenal in the last game against MI. He scored 36* off just 15 balls, including four sixes. Brevis looked in excellent touch and will be a must in your fantasy teams. Try him as captain in a few teams.
  • Jordan Hermann is the second-highest run scorer with 146 runs in three innings at an average of 73. His strike rate is 175.90, and he’s scored runs in almost every game for the Sunrisers.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Marco Jansen has been far from his best this season, but he’s done well till now with the ball and can fetch points from both batting and bowling. Jansen will be a popular C/VC choice as well.
  • Andre Russell will be available for this match. He will bowl the key overs, and we all know how capable he is with the bat. Russell will be an excellent C/VC pick for this match.

Key bowler picks:

  • Anrich Nortje has six wickets in three games. He will mainly bowl in the middle and death overs for the Sunrisers. Nortje is bowling at a high pace and is looking in good rhythm.
  • Tymal Mills has five wickets in three games so far. He’s the lead pacer for the Capitals and will bowl in the powerplay and then towards the end of the innings. Mills will be a differential C/VC choice while bowling first.
  • Adam Milne picked up four wickets when these two sides met earlier this season. He’s a genuine wicket-taker and can bowl in any phase of the innings. Milne is a must pick.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Sherfane Rutherford scored 47* off just 15 in the last game, but consistency has been an issue for him. And with Andre Russell in, there are chances that he might get demoted in the batting order. But despite all this, he can be a good pick.
  • James Coles will be a good differential pick. He can bowl left-arm orthodox and can whack the ball. Cole also allows flexibility in the batting order, so he might get promoted as well.

Alternative picks you can consider:

  • Lungi Ngidi
  • Lutho Sipamla
  • Jonny Bairstow
  • Keshav Maharaj

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Head to Head: Pretoria Capitals 4 – Sunrisers Eastern Cape 4
  • Jordan Hermann vs Keshav Maharaj (T20s): 37 balls, 37 runs, and 4 dismissals.
  • Dewald Brevis vs Marco Jansen (T20s): 36 deliveries, 37 runs, and 3 dismissals
  • Dewald Brevis vs Anrich Nortje (T20s): 23 deliveries, 19 runs, and 2 dismissals.

SA20 2025/26 14th Match: PC vs SEC Match Prediction: Who will win?

The game will be decided between Pretoria’s middle order and Sunrisers’ pace bowlers. If it’s a rain-shortened game, then Pretoria will have the upper hand because of their explosive middle order of Brevis, Russell, and Rutherford.

Sunrisers, meanwhile, rely heavily on their top four to do the bulk of the scoring; they have batting depth, but their middle order is not really in the best of form.

Pretoria Capitals to win this match.
