GT vs MI Dream11 Prediction: Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 30th Match

Mumbai Indians (MI) need to get going. After winning their first game, the five-time champions sit bottom of the league after four straight defeats. Jasprit Bumrah wicketless in five games sums up their bowling struggles, and the time is now to deliver as a unit.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans (GT) won their last game against KKR by five wickets thanks to a brilliant knock from skipper Shubman Gill (86 runs). Previously, the bowlers did a good job restricting KKR to 180 runs. Kagiso Rabada picked up three wickets as he continued his promising form. Mohammed Siraj and Ashok Sharma picked up two wickets each.

A good bowling powerplay for MI can work wonders as Gujarat is heavily dependent on one of their top three batters to play a big knock. The middle order has struggled, so they’ll need more consistency from Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler. However, MI’s middle order has also struggled badly.

GT has won their last three games and will be the confident side coming to this match.

There was good movement on offer for the pacers in the last game at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada went through KKR’s top order. It will be a clear day in Ahmedabad. There are no chances of rain during the game time. The temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius when the game starts.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for GT vs MI: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top wicketkeeper Picks:

  • Jos Buttler averages 51.80 against MI at a strike rate of 143.40, including four fifties and a hundred. He has 621 runs against MI in 13 innings. Buttler loves playing against MI and has been in good touch as well. He’ll be a must pick and a top C/VC option.
  • Quinton de Kock scored a brilliant hundred in the last game. He looked positive from the first ball and played his shots fearlessly. De Kock will be a key batter for MI against GT’s new ball bowling. Try him as C/VC too.

Key batter picks:

  • Sai Sudharsan looked in good touch in the last game and played a few good shots before getting dismissed. A big knock is due from the southpaw, and this might be the game where he does. He’ll be a must-pick despite his shaky form in the last two games.
  • Shubman Gill has been the best batter for his team. He has 251 runs in four games at an average of 62.75 at a strike rate of 154.93, and he has three fifties in the four games he’s played.
  • Suryakumar Yadav has only 106 runs in five games. He was dismissed first ball in the last game against PBKS. But, SKY has a great record against GT: 7 inns, 316 runs, avg. 52.7, SR 173.6.
  • Sherfane Rutherford has played a lot of cricket at the Narendra Modi Stadium, as he was a part of the Gujarat Titans. He’s looked in good touch till now and will be a top differential pick for this game, especially if MI bats first.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Hardik Pandya has 81 runs and two wickets in four games in IPL 2026. He’s been far from his best but he will bowl 2-3 overs and will bat in the middle order his side. Also, he knows this ground very well.

Key bowler picks:

  • Rashid Khan will be GT’s only spinner unless Washington Sundar comes on to bowl. His form is improving, and he’s a wicket-taker and is capable with the bat as well. Rashid can trouble MI’s middle order in this game.
  • Prasidh Krishna is hitting the deck hard and bowling the key overs for Gujarat. He has 11 wickets in five games at an economy of 9.20 and a bowling strike rate of 10.90. Prasidh will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Jasprit Bumrah has been wicketless after five games, but a good performance from him feels just around the corner. He’s arguably the best in the business and this is just a bad phase for him. You can back him for this game.

IPL 2026 30th Match: GT vs MI Match Prediction: Who will win?

Gujarat Titans, despite their overdependence on their top 3 batters, will be the favorites to win this game. MI’s bowling has looked in all sorts, and they’re not really playing as a team with a lot of loopholes.

Titans, on the other hand, have an in-form bowling unit, and their top 3 are in good form as well.

Gujarat Titans to win.

SRH vs CSK Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 27th Match

Two teams who have managed to reverse their fortunes meet in an exciting Saturday night clash.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s debutants were the talk of the town, delivering an outstanding performance against the in-form Rajasthan Royals during the week. Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain were magnificent, giving SRH plenty of hope that they now have the bowling to challenge teams in this IPL. However, the challenge will be to back that effort up.

On the batting front, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head have been hot and cold, but their form won’t be a worry for SRH as they need only one of them to get going to gain the upper hand. Ishan Kishan is clearly the form player, but SRH will want more from the others as even Heinrich Klaasen’s strike rate is the big concern despite the runs.

Meanwhile, the Chennai Super Kings have won their last two games, and they’ll be pretty confident coming into this match. Sanju Samson, Ayush Mhatre, Sarfaraz Khan, and Dewald Brevis are their in-form batters. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s form is a big concern, while Shivam Dube too has been a little inconsistent with the bat.

Noor Ahmad picked up three wickets in the last game, which is a great sign. However, Khaleel Ahmed’s injury is a big blow, meaning Jamie Overton will have an even bigger role.

IPL 2026 27th Match: SRH vs CSK Possible Playing XIIs

Nitish Reddy and Salil Arora played a couple of crucial cameos in the last game. SRH’s bowling is looking much better now with Praful and Sakib in the XI. The spin attack also looks sorted with Shivang Kumar and Harsh Dubey playing well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. Travis Head, 2. Abhishek Sharma, 3. Ishan Kishan (c & wk), 4. Heinrich Klaasen, 5. Nitish Kumar Reddy, 6. Salil Arora, 7. Aniket Varma, 8. Shivang Kumar, 9. Harsh Dubey, 10. Eshan Malinga, 11. Praful Hinge, 12. Sakib Hussain

Akeal Hosein has done well, but it’ll be interesting to see if he plays this game or not. CSK will have to bowl well in this match, and it’s high time now that the skipper Gaikwad leads from the front with the bat.

Chennai Super Kings: 1. Sanju Samson (wk), 2. Ruturaj Gaikwad (c), 3. Ayush Mhatre, 4. Dewald Brevis, 5. Sarfaraz Khan, 6. Shivam Dube, 7. Jamie Overton, 8.  Noor Ahmad, 9. Anshul Kamboj, 10. Gurjapneet Singh, 11. Mukesh Choudhary, 12. Akeal Hosein

Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium Hyderabad Pitch Report and Weather

The pitch is a good one for batting, although it wasn’t a flat wicket for the SRH-RR match. There was good bounce and carry for the pacers, and the spinners also got assistance.

‘Into the wicket,’ cutters were effective for the pacers. A similar sort of surface is expected in this match as well. The average first innings score here is 186 runs in IPL 2026. Teams are expected to chase if they win the toss.

It will be a clear day in Hyderabad, with the temperature being around 32 degrees Celsius at the start of the game.

Which bowlers and batters are considered most likely to perform in the SRH vs CSK match?

Before you finalise your Dream11 team, check out these SPODA AI insights that could influence the contest.

  • The in-form Ayush Mhatre has a 66.67% chance of making a 30+ score according to predictive analysis. The out-of-form Ruturaj Gaikwad is not far behind with a 48.15% probability.

  • Abhishek Sharma will fancy his chances against CSK’s new ball attack now with Khaleel Ahmed ruled out. He attacks from the first ball and can take the game away from the opposition in the powerplay itself. He’ll be a good C/VC choice as well.
  • Travis Head is another must-pick in your fantasy teams. He is another super aggressive opener from this match, and you can’t miss out on him. Head hasn’t been near his fluent best in IPL 2026, but he can score big when on song.

RCB vs DC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 26th Match

The impressive Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are back in action less than 48 hours after beating Lucknow Super Giants with ease. The defending champions have been excellent in this campaign to date, winning four of their five matches to sit second on the table.

At the forefront of their good form has been impact. Captain Rajat Patidar resembles that the most, as the ever-consistent Virat Kohli sets the tone at the top. The fact that RCB have conceded 200+ four times and won three of those matches speaks volumes of their batting at the moment.

But, that last fact can represent an opportunity for Delhi Capitals (DC). They’ll need to get going with the bat here to get their campaign back on track in what has been a strange week or so. David Miller’s refusal to take a single to tie the game against Gujarat came back to bite on April 9th, before DC handed Chennai Super Kings their first win on April 12th.

Can the bowling attack keep RCB’s in-form batting lineup in check? Lots rests on the likes of Lungi Ngidi, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel to deliver a victory for DC in Bengaluru.

IPL 2026 26th Match: RCB vs DC Possible Playing XIIs

RCB could opt for caution with Josh Hazlewood. The pacer won the man of the match award against LSG, but there is the chance he is rested here given there is a quick turnaround.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 1. Phil Salt (OS), 2. Virat Kohli, 3. Devdutt Padikkal, 4. Rajat Patidar (c), 5. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6. Tim David (OS), 7. Romario Shepherd (OS), 8. Krunal Pandya, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Josh Hazlewood/Jacob Duffy (OS), 11. Rasikh Salam, 12. Suyash Sharma

DC may stick with the same team that fell short against CSK.

Delhi Capitals: 1. Pathum Nissanka (OS), 2. KL Rahul (wk), 3. Sameer Rizvi, 4. Axar Patel (c), 5. David Miller (OS), 6. Tristan Stubbs (OS), 7. Ashutosh Sharma, 8. Auqib Nabi, 9. Kuldeep Yadav, 10. Lungi Ngidi (OS), 11. T Natarajan, 12. Mukesh Kumar

M Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru Pitch Report and Weather

The average first innings score in three matches here in IPL 2026 is 199. LSG’s 146 on Thursday brings this average well down after SRH hit 201/9 in the tournament opener and RCB smashed 250/3 against CSK. The chasing team has won twice.

Pace bowlers have enjoyed more success at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium this season. Eight of the top ten wicket-takers here are pacers, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar topping the list with seven.

A very hot and mostly clear afternoon is forecast in Bengaluru with a top of around 35 degrees.

Which bowlers and batters are considered most likely to perform?

Below are some interesting insights that could decide this contest, according to SPODA AI data.

  • Rajat Patidar has a 50% probability of making a 30+ score according to AI predictive analysis. This is the highest probability of any player.

Canada Cricket under ICC investigation for alleged corruption, including at 2026 T20 World Cup

Canada Cricket is currently under investigation from the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) on allegations of corruption.

Specifically, there are investigations relating to issues both on and off the field. The first is in relation to governance issues within Canada Cricket, with links to organised crime and even fears for the safety involved in the Canadian Cricket team.

The second item in question is the fifth over of Canada’s 2026 T20 World Cup match against New Zealand, bowled by captain and offspinner Dilpreet Bajwa.

Canada Cricket investigated for alleged corruption: Allegations emerge in a Canadian documentary

Interference in team selections and claims of match fixing

The documentary, named “Corruption, Crime and Cricket” and produced by the fifth estate, alleges interference from board level, including threats made to include certain players in the national team for betting reasons.

The ACU has been investigating a recording from a telephone call where Canada head coach Khurram Chohan claims that senior board members pressured him to select certain players. The audio, leaked in 2025, also contains claims of match fixing attempts.

Also, former coach Pubudu Dassanayake, who took pride in helping build the system, is suing Canada Cricket for wrongful termination. In an interview within the documentary, Dassanayake alleges “undue influence being applied on him in squad selections” during Canada’s 2024 T20 World Cup campaign, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.

Leaked letter which appeared in the documentary
Leaked letter which appeared in the documentary, signed by players who were allegedly under influence to sign.

A report in Toronto Sun in 2025 expressed the shock of Dassanayake’s departure as he was announced as head coach of the USA men’s national team. Canada were very competitive in the 2024 tournament under Dassanayake, beating Test nation Ireland by 12 runs in New York and even keeping Pakistan in check a few days later.

“Fans and players were stunned when Cricket Canada showed Pubudu Dassanayake the door a year ago after a successful stint,” the report read.

“But few expected him to be relegated to the sidelines for long as a number of nations showed an interest in his coaching abilities. USA Cricket will announce that the 55 year old has been hired to coach the best nation in this part of the world for three-and-a-half years.”

Fifth over of Canada’s World Cup match against New Zealand under the spotlight

The documentary also makes claims of corruption in Canada’s 2026 T20 World Cup match against New Zealand in Chennai. The over in question is the fifth of New Zealand’s batting innings, bowled by Dilpreet Bajwa, who was named as captain weeks before the tournament.

Canada, who made 173/4 on the back of Yuvraj Samra’s excellent hundred, reduced New Zealand to 35/2 after four overs. Bajwa brought himself on to bowl, starting with a no ball. The third legal delivery was way down the legside and the over eventually cost 15.

From there, New Zealand cruised to victory, reaching the 174-run target with 29 deliveries and eight wickets to spare.

GT vs KKR Dream11 Prediction: Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 25th Match

The 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season is not at its halfway stage yet, but Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are near must-win territory. Their only point is via a washout against high-flying Punjab Kings, with a host of disappointing defeats summing up their campaign to date.

KKR have never endured a start as bad as this. They travel to Ahmedabad today to take on Gujarat Titans (GT) who have found some form. Can Finn Allen find his best form? What about Cameron Green? Also, can the KKR bowlers – especially the wicketless Varun Chakravarthy – match GT’s efficiency? These are just some of the questions Ajinkya Rahane’s team face in this crunch match.

GT lost their first two games but came back strongly to win their last two matches. The bowlers have performed well, and Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler are in good touch. If Sai Sudharsan can get going, it makes GT even more dangerous.

However, the middle order remains a concern for GT. Glenn Phillips and Shahrukh Khan have not fired, and they need to as the Titans don’t possess the batting depth of other teams.

Prasidh Krishna is the current Purple Cap holder with 10 wickets in four games, while Rashid Khan is getting back to his best. Also, Ashok Sharma has been the find for them this season.

IPL 2026 25th Match: GT vs KKR Possible Playing XIIs

Kagiso Rabada hasn’t been in the best of form, and they might look to bring in Jason Holder for him, which will add to their batting depth as well.

Gujarat Titans: 1. Shubman Gill (c), 2. Sai Sudharsan, 3. Jos Buttler (wk), 4. Glenn Phillips, 5. Shahrukh Khan, 6. Washington Sundar, 7. Rahul Tewatia, 8. Rashid Khan, 9. Kagiso Rabada/Jason Holder, 10. Mohammed Siraj, 11. Ashok Sharma, 12. Prasidh Krishna

While Sunil Narine and Kartik Tyagi have bowled well, none of the other bowlers have shown promise till now. Varun Chakaravarthy is yet to pick his first wicket in IPL 2026. They might bring in Tim Seifert for Finn Allen in this match. This will be a very crucial game for the Knight Riders as they are yet to register their first win of the season.

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Finn Allen/Tim Seifert, 2. Ajinkya Rahane (c), 3. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, 4. Cameron Green, 5. Rovman Powell, 6. Rinku Singh, 7. Ramandeep Singh, 8. Sunil Narine, 9. Anukul Roy, 10. Vaibhav Arora, 11. Kartik Tyagi, 12. Varun Chakravarthy

Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad Pitch Report and Weather

Narendra Modi Stadium is a good venue for batting. The ball comes onto the bat nicely, and there are a lot of sixes hit at this ground.

However, there will be something for the pacers, especially with the new ball. They’ll also look to hit the deck hard and bring the square boundaries in play. Spinners may also get some purchase off the deck.

Teams will look to chase, but teams batting first have won eight out of 10 games played here since IPL 2025.

It will be a clear day in Ahmedabad. There are no chances of rain during the game time. The temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius when the game starts.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for GT vs KKR: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Top wicketkeeper Picks:

  • Jos Buttler has been in terrific form in IPL 2026. He averages 44 at a strike rate of 158.55 with two fifties in four games. He averages 47 against KKR for his 518 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 148 and has two centuries. Buttler will be a top C/VC choice.
  • Angkrish Raghuvanshi has 182 runs in five innings at an average of 45.50, striking at 155.55 with two fifties. He’s been the only in-form batter for KKR and will be a must in your fantasy teams.

Key batter picks:

  • Sai Sudharsan has 113 runs in four games, including a knock of 73. He’s failed to get going in the last few games, but he’s a quality batter and will fancy his chances against KKR’s struggling bowling unit.
  • Shubman Gill is averaging 55 for his 165 runs in three games. He has two half-centuries as well. He averages 52.60 at Ahmedabad in the IPL at a strike rate of 162, including 5 fifties and 3 centuries at the venue. Gill will be the best C/VC pick.
  • Rovman Powell has 70 runs in the two games that he has played at a strike rate of nearly 153. Powell is the in-form batter for KKR in the middle order and he’s been in sublime form as well. He’ll be a top differential pick.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Cameron Green is likely to bat in the top four in this game and may bowl an over or two. He will hit the deck hard and should enjoy bowling at this venue. Despite his poor form, Green can be a valuable Dream11 pick.
  • Sunil Narine opened the batting in the last game, and he’s been in top form with the ball. He may not open in this game but he will pose a serious threat to GT’s middle order and can pick up 2-3 wickets in this match.

Key bowler picks:

  • Rashid Khan has been in great form in the last couple of games. He will fancy his chances against KKR’s struggling batting unit and can go through them in this match. Rashid is capable with the bat as well and will be a must pick.
  • Prasidh Krishna will be a top C/VC choice for this game. He is picking up wickets consistently and has been the best bowler for GT. He uses his pace and hard length to perfection and can unsettle KKR’s batting unit.

  • Angkrish Raghuvanshi is considered the likeliest player from KKR to make a 30+ score (44.44% chance).

Gujarat Titans, despite their overdependence on their top three batters, are favourites to win this game. KKR’s bowling has been below average, especially with Varun Chakaravarthy failing to pick wickets, and none of their bowlers look threatening to GT’s top three.

Titans, on the other hand, have an in-form bowling unit that will pose a serious threat to KKR’s batting in this game.

Gujarat Titans to win.

MI vs PBKS Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 24th Match

Mumbai Indians (MI) are in a tricky position. After breaking their first-match curse, they have gone on to lose three straight matches. Surprisingly, their bowlers have lacked impact, and need to turn it around today. But, they face a tough test against high-flying Punjab Kings (PBKS).

MI are eighth in the points table. Jasprit Bumrah has gone wicketless in four games, and it’s one of the main reasons for their poor performance. The likes of Trent Boult, Shardul Thakur, Mitchell Santner, and Mayank Markande will have to take responsibility if MI is to do well against a strong opponents

Tilak Varma has struggled in the first four games, while Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton, and Suryakumar Yadav are playing well. Sherfane Rutherford showed his class in the last game as Hardik Pandya also got some runs to his name. However, Rohit is in doubt for this match, adding another layer of complexity for MI.

Meanwhile, PBKS have been in top form as a team. Shreyas Iyer is leading the side from the front, with Prabhsimran Singh and Cooper Connolly playing well. Priyansh Arya also scored a brilliant fifty in the last game against SRH. However, more output from Marcus Stoinis and Nehal Wadhera is key with other capable players in the squad.

Bowling-wise, Xavier Bartlett is bowling well while Arshdeep Singh got going with two wickets in the last game. Yuzvendra Chahal and Marco Jansen have also bowled well with good assistance from Vijaykumar Vyshak.

IPL 2026 24th Match: MI vs PBKS Probable Playing XIIs

Rohit Sharma, if fit, should come in as the impact sub. Naman Dhir can open in his absence. They can also include Corbin Bosch for Mitchell Santner.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Naman Dhir, 2. Ryan Rickelton (wk), 3. Suryakumar Yadav, 4. Tilak Varma, 5. Hardik Pandya (c), 6. Sherfane Rutherford, 7. Mitchell Santner, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Jasprit Bumrah, 11. Trent Boult

Impact Sub: Rohit Sharma/Ashwani Kumar

Punjab Kings: 1. Prabhismran Singh (wk), 2. Priyansh Arya, 3. Cooper Connolly, 4. Shreyas Iyer (c), 5. Nehal Wadhera, 6. Shashank Singh, 7. Marcus Stoinis, 8. Marco Jansen, 9. Xavier Bartlett, 10. Arshdeep Singh, 11. Vijaykumar Vyshak

Impact Sub: Yuzvendra Chahal

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Pitch Report and Weather

Wankhede Stadium is one of the best batting venues in India. There will be some movement on offer for the pacers with the new ball, but after that, it’ll be a batter’s paradise.

The first innings score here in the two games so far are 220 and 240. MI chased down 220 against KKR and got close against RCB in the last game. Chasing will be a no-brainer here.

It will be a clear day with no chance of rain. The temperature will be around 27-28 degrees Celsius at the start of the game with 73% humidity. Dew is a factor at Wankhede.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for MI vs PBKS: Players to Watch/Key Stats

We’ve partnered with MyRex11, a fantasy platform based in the UAE. Learn more below.

Top wicketkeeper Picks:

  • Ryan Rickelton has 135 runs in four innings. He looked good in the last game and will be a top fantasy pick. Rickelton can take the attack to the Punjab bowlers, and he’s known for scoring big when on song. Try him as C/VC in some of your teams.
  • Prabhsimran Singh has 131 runs in three innings so far. He scored 51 runs in the last game. He has looked pretty confident and will bat aggressively. Prabhsimran is a key batter for Punjab and will be a must in your fantasy teams.

Key batter picks:

  • Shreyas Iyer scored 113 runs against MI in the two games last season. He wasn’t even dismissed once, with 87* being his highest score. Iyer’s been in terrific form this season with two fifties in three innings so far.
  • Suryakumar Yadav will be a key batter for MI. He’s been consistently batting at three, which is the best position for him. He can win games on his own when he gets going. Surya will be a top C/VC pick, especially while chasing.
  • Priyansh Arya scored a quick 57 runs in the last game. He attacks from the first ball and can fetch plenty of points if he stays on the crease for even 4-5 overs. He will fancy his chances against MI’s struggling bowling attack.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Hardik Pandya batted well in the last game. He will bowl 3-4 overs and will be their best batter in the middle order. Hardik will fetch points from both the bat and ball. Try him as C/VC, especially while bowling first.
  • Cooper Connolly has been a terrific addition to Punjab at number three. He bats positively, attacks the bowlers, and can also bowl an over or two if needed. Connolly has 119 runs in three innings, at an average of 59.50 and strike rate of 152.56 including a fifty.

Key bowler picks:

  • Marco Jansen will bowl the key overs for Punjab and is more than capable with the bat. He adds excellent depth to the PBKS side and will be a top fantasy pick. Jansen will get movement upfront with the new ball, and he can trouble MI’s top order.
  • Jasprit Bumrah has been wicketless after four matches, but that’s no reason to drop him. He is a champion bowler and knows how to pick up wickets. Punjab’s middle order hasn’t got a lot of time to bat, and Bumrah can exploit that in this game, especially while bowling first. Try him as C/VC in a couple of teams.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal has 20 wickets in 14 games against the Mumbai Indians. He’s a wicket-taker and picks up wickets in clusters on his day. Chahal will be an excellent differential pick for this game. He has 30 wickets in 21 games at the Wankhede Stadium.

Both teams have quality players on their respective sides, but Mumbai Indians’ bowling is a big concern. They are leaking runs in every game, and none of the bowlers have shown some promise.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings have played as a team with all the players chipping in.

RCB vs LSG Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2026 23rd Match

The impressive Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 23rd match of IPL 2026.

RCB won their first two games, then lost against the Rajasthan Royals before storming back against the Mumbai Indians (by 18 runs) in their last game. They are third in the table. Phil Salt (78 runs), Rajat Patidar (53 runs), and Virat Kohli (50 runs) made sure they posted a good total batting first. Tim David (34* runs) also chipped in well. The top five have been in terrific form for the defending champions. Jitesh Sharma’s form is a concern, but the others are making up for him.

Bowling-wise, they haven’t been at their best, as they’ve conceded big totals as well. Josh Hazlewood played one game and sat out in the last one. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is searching for impact, while Rasikh Dar was very impressive in the last game. Krunal Pandya has bowled exceptionally well, and Suyash Sharma too has assisted him well. Overall, they’ll need the overseas pacers to be consistent, especially in the powerplay.

The Lucknow Super Giants are struggling at the moment. Their power-packed top order is yet to fire. Rishabh Pant has been scratchy, while Nicholas Pooran has looked in all sorts in the four games so far. They have won two games, but they need more consistency from their top four if they are to have a sustained run of form.

Mohammed Shami and Prince Yadav have bowled well, but the spin unit hasn’t been up to the mark. Good news for them is that both Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan are fully fit and will be available for this game. Both will enjoy bowling at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

IPL 2026 23rd Match: RCB vs LSG Probable Playing XIIs

Josh Hazlewood, if fit, will replace Jacob Duffy.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 1. Phil Salt, 2. Virat Kohli, 3. Devdutt Padikkal, 4. Rajat Patidar, 5. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6. Tim David, 7. Romario Shepherd, 8. Krunal Pandya, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Rasikh Salam Dar, 11. Josh Hazlewood/Jacob Duffy

Impact Sub: Suyash Sharma

It will be interesting to see how LSG manages to get both Mayank and Mohsin in the XI. They may drop George Linde to accommodate both, but Linde adds to the batting depth, and he’s quality with the ball too.

Lucknow Super Giants: 1. Mitchell Marsh, 2. Aiden Markram, 3. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 4. Nicholas Pooran, 5. Ayush Badoni, 6. Abdul Samad, 7. Mukhul Choudhary, 8. George Linde/Mohsin Khan, 9. Mohammed Shami, 10. Prince Yadav, 11. Divesh Rathi

Impact Sub: Mayank Yadav

M Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru Pitch Report and Weather

There will be help for the pacers with the new ball, especially in the first 2-3 overs of the innings. After that, the wicket will be a run-fest for the batters. Pacers will get good bounce with the spinners getting little to no help. Overall, the batters will dominate the game.

The average first innings score here this season has been 225 runs. Teams will prefer chasing, but batting first and putting a big total on the board is not a bad option either.

It will be a clear day in Bengaluru with no chance of rain. The temperature will be about 25 degrees celsius at the start of the game.

Insights that could decide who will win the RCB vs LSG match

Below are some interesting insights that could decide this contest, according to SPODA AI data.

  • RCB have a 78% chance of winning if they bat first, lose one wicket in the powerplay, hit 50 runs at the death and finish with 220. Interestingly, the figure is higher for LSG (83%).
  • RCB have scored 75, 65, 66, 89 and 61 in the powerplay in their last five matches at the Chinnaswamy.
  • Teams lose more wickets in the powerplay batting second at the Chinnaswamy since 2019 (2.12) compared to batting first (1.89).

Top Wicketkeeper Picks:

  • Phil Salt has 151 runs against LSG in three innings at an average of 75.50 and a strike rate of 188.80. He looked in great touch in the last game and will be a top fantasy pick considering he can score big on his day.
  • Rishabh Pant has 539 runs against RCB at an average of 53.90, including four fifties and a hundred. His strike rate is 158.10 in 13 innings. Pant is struggling at the moment, but he will be a must in your fantasy teams. He has a 42.19% chance of making a 30+ score according to SPODA AI predictive analysis.
  • Nicholas Pooran will be a key batter for LSG and should come out at 4 in this game, as RCB lacks an off-spinner in their lineup. He will be targeted with the hard length at his body, but he’ll be in for a good day if he can negate that.

Key batter picks:

  • Virat Kohli has 179 runs in four innings at an average of 59.66 at a strike rate of 162.72. He wasn’t at his fluent best in the last game, but he’s a quality batter and will be a no-brainer in your fantasy teams. Virat will be a top C/VC choice as well.
  • Rajat Patidar has piled up 195 runs in four games at an average of 65 and strike rate of 214.28 with two fifties. He has the best chance of any batter of making a 30+ score: 50.98% probability according to SPODA AI predictive analysis.
  • Mitchell Marsh scored 67 runs when these two sides met last time, but he has struggled against RCB in the IPL – 131 runs in 6 games at an average of 21.80 (SR 123.60). Marsh has made starts but has failed to convert them into big scores.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Aiden Markram will be a key batter for his side at the top. He will look to exploit the field restrictions and can score big if he gets going. The only issue with Markram for years has been his inconsistency in converting starts into big scores. Despite that, he’ll be a top fantasy pick.

Key bowler picks:

  • Jacob Duffy (or Josh Hazlewood) will get good movement with the new ball and some good bounce too. Duffy (or Hazlewood) will be used to target LSG’s middle order, especially Pooran with the hard length in the middle order. He will be a key bowler for RCB and a top fantasy pick.
  • Hazlewood is considered a 44.07% chance of taking 2+ wickets according to SPODA AI – the highest probability of any bowler in this match.
  • Mohsin Khan is expected to play this game, and he’ll be a key bowler for LSG. He will get good assistance in the power play, and he can trouble RCB’s top order. Mohsin can bowl towards the end of the innings as well.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be the clear favourites to win this game. They have great depth and quality in their side with their batters being in top form right now.

On the contrary, LSG has had their struggles with the bat, and they’ll have to be at their best, especially with the bat, if they are to win this game.

Adelaide Oval’s ambitious plan of hosting an IPL game – report

A very optimistic and ambitious idea has emerged – hosting a regular-season IPL game at the Adelaide Oval in Australia. As per a report from journalist Tom Morris via SEN Cricket, Adelaide Oval’s chairman Jamie Briggs and South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) boss Will Rayner have been in talks with the important stakeholders to execute the big idea.

This can be seen as a reciprocal move of the Big Bash League (BBL), who are actively looking to play their first game of the next BBL edition at Chepauk (MA Chidambaram Stadium) in Chennai, sometime during the second week of December 2026.

Could the Adelaide Oval host an IPL game?

During the Sheffield Shield final, Cricket Australia chief Todd Greenberg was informed about the idea of hosting a regular season IPL game at the Adelaide Oval. The BCCI is yet to be informed about this development, but those conversations are on the way.

Should it get the green light, this move will help boost tourism to the South Australian region. Tourism South Australia has also given its initial approval for the development agreeing to the fact there will be many steps before it becomes a reality. Hosting an IPL game will also attract a lot of eyeballs and tickets will also sell out very quickly.

In terms of timing, March will be the best time to host an IPL game from the climatic point of view. Adelaide Oval can be turned into an AFL field within 48 hours which is a positive, given the potential for a clash with Australia’s leading football code.

The fact that the NFL has also gone abroad has instilled a sense of confidence in the South Australian sports authorities to aim big.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi shortlisted for India squad for Ireland T20I tour – report

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is set to become the youngest player to feature for the India men’s national team. According to a report in Indian Express, the 15-year-old is in contention for a debut during India’s two-match T20I tour of Ireland in June.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi takes IPL by storm, set to be picked for India

According to the aformentioned report, a source said that Sooryavanshi is in contention for the tour.

“He is in contention for the Ireland tour and the selectors have shortlisted his name along with those of many other players,” said the official.

Sooryavanshi has been outstanding in the 2026 Indian Premier League after announcing himself to the IPL stage with a 38-ball 101 in 2025. He has smashed 200 runs in the first five matches at an eyewatering strike rate of 263.15.

His golden duck against Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only blemish in what has been a terrific campaign to date. He has taken experienced bowlers to the cleaners, hitting a 26-ball 78 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, a 17-ball 52 against Chennai Super Kings and a 14-ball 39 against Mumbai Indians. This includes two sixes off the first three balls he faced from the great Jasprit Bumrah.

Should Sooryavanshi continue his excellent form, selectors are reportedly considering picking him for India’s tour of Zimbabwe later this year. The left-hander has fond memories of Zimbabwe, smashing 175 off 80 balls in the ICC U19 World Cup Final against England in Harare in February.

SRH vs RR Twitter Reactions – Praful Hinge, Sakib Hussain, Ishan Kishan destroy Rajasthan Royals

After Ishan Kishan’s masterful 91 off 44 balls, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain produced dream performances on their debuts to hand Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) a crucial 57-run win over the previously undefeated Rajasthan Royals (RR).

RR, led by their superb opening duo, have blown teams away. 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has dominated some of the world’s best and most established bowlers en route to 200 runs at a strike rate of 266.66. SRH have been poor with the ball this season, even losing easily to Punjab Kings on the weekend despite scoring 219.

SRH had to make changes and they did. But surely they couldn’t have imagined the sheer impact the debutants would have straight away. Hinge, with two senior T20s under his belt before this game, dismissed the in-form Sooryavanshi first ball. Even better, he dismissed Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan dre-Pretorius in the next four deliveries to become the first bowler in history to take three wickets in the opening over of an IPL match.

It left an egg on my face!

Sakib Hussain then joined party. He had Yashasvi Jaiswal caught at deep third man to leave the Royals at a scarcely-believable 2/4. Riyan Parag didn’t last much longer, nicking to slip to hand Hinge his fourth wicket and put RR at risk of making the lowest score in IPL history.

Donovan Ferreira (69) and Ravindra Jadeja (45) saved RR from utter embarrassment, putting together a 118-run stand. However, the result was a foregone conclusion, despite Ferreira showing plenty of promise in an innings laced with superb six-hitting.

SRH vs RR: Praful Hinge, Sakib Hussain, Ishan Kishan dominated the previously unbeaten Royals

Earlier, Ishan Kishan rescued SRH from their own tough start. Abhishek Sharma was out first ball before Travis Head struggled for his 18-ball 18. The hosts were going nowhere at 55/2 in the seventh over, before Kishan went into overdrive.

The SRH captain hit eight fours and six sixes in his 44-ball innings. It continued a wonderful year where the left-hander is striking above 200 in all T20s.

Here are some of the reactions to a memorable and outstanding SRH win.

SRH’s next match is against CSK at Hyderbabad on Saturday. RR will be looking to bounce back against KKR at Eden Gardens on the same day.
