Quetta Gladiators will be taking on Islamabad United for the 12th league match of PSL 2021.
After three losses in a row, Gladiators would be looking for their first win for the tournament when they face United. Skipper Sarfraz has led from he is also the highest run-scorer for them but their death bowling has costed them heavily. Hasnain, who has been their best bowler, has just managed to pick 3 wickets in as many matches.

Lahore Qalanders
- Faf du Plessis – Faf came in as a replacement for Chris Gayle and looked in sublime touch last game. He scored 37 runs and will be key to Gladiators batting.
- Mohammad Hasnain – Pacer has played 3 games against United and has never gone Wicketless. He has 7 wickets in 3 matches. The onus will be on him along with Dale Steyn to step up with the ball and perform.
- Sarfraz Ahmed – Skipper is having an impressive PSL so far and has led his side quite well. He would be hoping for better performance from his bowlers and grab the first of the tourney. He has 198 runs against United in 11 matches at an average of 27 and the best score of 51*.
- Cameron Delport – In a surprising move, Gladiators dropped Banton and promoted Delport to open the batting. However, Delport did not last long in the first match and if they continue with him again, he will be a very good pick in Grand Leagues.
Islamabad United
- Alex Hales – Hales has brought his BBL form to the sub-continent and has been at his brutal best so far. In the last match also when everyone around him did not do much with the bat, the Englishman managed 41 runs off 27 balls. He has played twice against Quetta and has made 29 & 16.
- Shadab Khan- United Skipper is having a quiet PSL so far and would be eager for a turnaround in the coming days. In the last match, he did not get a wicket but probably bowled his best spell. He has not enjoyed much success against Gladiators in past and has just 2 wickets in 8 games. Despite all odds, he can fetch good fantasy points with both bat & ball and will be a good pick in Grand Leagues.
- Faheem Ashraf- Building up to the PSL, Ashraf was having a dream run with both bat and the ball but he has not much done till now. However, his numbers against Gladiators are impressive. The All-rounder has 10 wickets in 6 games & was also seen batting up the order in the last match which also makes him a good option to have in all leagues.
