• Sanju Samson’s ability against spin will be key for the Royals. He has hit 61 off 38 against the spinners so far this season without dismissal. Also, he has scored 162 runs in five matches against GT at an impressive strike rate of 162.00 (avg. 32.40).
• Samson has scored 111 off 96 balls against Rashid Khan, dismissed once. The RR captain may look to take on the other bowlers.
• Since the start of October 2023, Riyan Parag has scored 695 runs in T20s at an average of 86.87 and strike rate of 175.51. He has made the number four spot his own.
