- South African captain Sunne Luus is the top run scorer for her side in the tournament so far. She has scored 70 runs in three games. She also has a great record against BANW with 104 runs scored in four innings.
- Tazmin Brits played a fantastic knock of 45 striking at 125 against AUSW in the last game played. The South African side expects a good start from Brits once again today.
- Marizanne Kapp has been a great asset for the side. She has taken five wickets so far in the tournament and she is top wicket taker for South Africa in this WC. In her last game she came up with amazing bowling figures of 2/21 in 4 overs against the mighty Australia side.
- She also has a great record against the Bangladesh team in the past. She has taken 11 wickets with an fantastic average of 12 and economy 3.97.
- Nonkululeko Mlaba has performed decently in the tournament so far with four scalps.
Bangladesh Women
- Captain Nigar Sultana is the top run-getter for her team so far. She has scored 97 runs. She showed great courage in her 57 run innings against Australia.
- Shamima Sultana has been able to give Bangladesh a good start in most of the matches till now but has failed to build on her innings after good start. She has a strike rate of 125.
- Marufa Akter has been the most impressive player from the Bangladesh team in the WC so far. She has taken four wickets so far but took three of them at the Newlands. She is the biggest threat to the opposition.
