SA-W vs WI-W Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Match 1 | SA-W vs WI-W Dream11 Prediction Today | Cape Town Pitch Report

Three years after a record-breaking 2020 edition, the Women’s T20 World Cup is back. Hosts South Africa will be aiming to use this tournament to springboard their progress, but will have to overcome the controversy of star all-rounder Dane van Niekerk’s ommission due to fitness reasons. In a group comprising of Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the home side cannot afford to let any nerves get the better of them early.

Indeed, they will love a repeat of the thrashing they gave to Sri Lanka in last year’s Commonwealth Games. South Africa bowled them out for just 46, with five of the six bowlers in the wickets.

So, the message for the Sri Lankans is clear. South Africa want a perfect start to a home World Cup, but Chamari Athapaththu’s team need to be fearless and target any nerves. Remember, they beat India in a T20I in what was a big scalp last year, and will be calling on their captain to lead the way.
