SCO vs HUR Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: BBL 2022/23 Match 46 | PS vs HH Dream11 Prediction Today | Perth Pitch Report
Match 46 of BBL 2022/23 is crucial for both teams, but for different reasons. Hobart Hurricanes will be aiming to go on a late season surge to finish in the top five, while Perth Scorchers are out to reclaim top spot over the Sixers.
It’s a clash that promises plenty with the two sides possessing terrific players on paper. The Hurricanes’ batting lineup is superb, but it’s the consistency of the bowling lineup that is in question. They delivered last game by dismissing Thunder for just 135, but this is a bigger test to overcome.
Indeed, the Scorchers are seeking some improvement of their own. They failed to chase what looked to be a gettable 152 against Sixers, losing too many wickets upfront – a key area for improvement today. If they get going, they will be hard to stop on a warm Perth afternoon.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
Perth Scorchers:
- Josh Inglis belted 62 off 37 against the Hurricanes earlier in BBL 12. He has scored 46 off 25 vs Nathan Ellis (one dismissal) in T20s.
- Stephen Eskinazi has struck 106 runs in his past two BBL matches. The Scorchers’ opener has now crossed 2,000 T20 runs at an average of 35.74 and strike rate of 139.50.
- Ashton Turner has been terrific when chasing this season. The skipper has scored 176 runs at an average of 44.00 and strike rate of 149.2 when batting second. This is in contrast to 64 runs at an average of 21.3 when batting first.
- Andrew Tye loves bowling at Perth Stadium. The equal-leading wicket-taker this season (20) has taken a total of 29 wickets in 17 innings on this ground (avg. 14.69, SR 12.45).
- Tye has dismissed Matt Wade three times in 11 balls, for 17 runs. He also has figures of 1/19 off 13 balls against Ben McDermott.
- Jason Behrendorff has taken at least one wicket in every match of BBL 2022/23 (total of 16 scalps).
Hobart Hurricanes:
- Caleb Jewell can get the Hurricanes off to a flyer. The opener has struck 239 runs at an average of 34.14 and strike rate of 162.58 this season.
- The big question will be how Jewell handles left-arm seam after he was trapped plumb in front by Daniel Sams in the last game. Today he will likely face Behrendorff and David Payne.
- Matthew Wade has made two starts in his past two matches (20 and 30). Since 2018, he has scored 211 runs in nine innings vs Scorchers at an average of 23.44 and strike rate of 141.61, including a 29-ball 51 earlier in BBL 12.
- Tim David is coming off a scintilating 71* against the Thunder. The Hurricanes finisher also struck 46* off 28 against Scorchers earlier this season, part of 262 runs at an average of 43.66 and strike rate of 162.73 in BBL 2022/23.
- David has historically struggled on this ground. In five innings, he has struck just 54 runs at an average of 13.50 and strike rate of 122.73.
- Paddy Dooley was player of the match in the previous meeting against Scorchers (4/16). Can he have a similar impact on the typically fast Perth Stadium pitch?
- Nathan Ellis was player of the match last game vs Thunder. The seamer took 4/27, including a hat-trick.
