The final match of the St Kitts leg brings quite a level of importance for both St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors. Both are winless so far this season, with defending champions St Kitts losing twice to Jamaica and Barbados, and Guyana losing their match to Jamaica.
The two CPL 2022 title hopefuls have had their moments early in the season. Guyana were very slow to get going against the Tallawahs, but Romario Shepherd sent a reminder of his finishing abilities. With Odean Smith, Heinrich Klaasen and Keemo Paul also capable of clearing the ropes, the onus is on the top four to produce much better strike rates than they did in their opening match.
