South Africa vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I Preview Dream11. RSA vs SL 3rd T20I Preview Dream11 Prediction
The last game of the South African home season is here. Disappointingly, it has fizzled out as a contest, with one-sided matches dominating the white-ball leg of the tour.
South Africa won yet again. It was refreshing for them to have Reeza Hendricks (who was badly out of touch) and Rassie van der Dussen score well en-route to a strong 180. From there, the result was never in doubt, as Isuru Udana yet again was the only real thorn in South Africa’s bowling line up. Will the Proteas sweep Sri Lanka 8-0 in the limited overs matches, after a shock loss in the Tests?
Well, when it comes to Sri Lanka, we sound like a broken record. Yet again their batting has not been up to scratch, with number eight Isuru Udana saving them from complete embarrassment in Centurion. Their key players aren’t stepping up, much to the dismay of skipper Lasith Malinga, who has hinted his ODI career could end after the 2019 World Cup. Can they pick up a consolation win?

Key to a South Africa win
The series is done and dusted, but South Africa will love to see a big innings from Aiden Markram. He has been in terrific form domestically, but missed out in the second T20I. With Reeza Hendricks coming off runs and Rassie van der Dussen continuing his fine form, South Africa’s top three have it in them to set a platform for JP Duminy and David Miller. Is another big total on the way?
Also, South Africa have been too good for Sri Lanka’s batsmen. Chris Morris walked into the side and took three wickets, in conjunction with Tabraiz Shamsi who backed up the work of his seamers superbly. Dale Steyn was expensive last time out, but wickets are the order of the day. If South Africa can rip through Sri Lanka’s top order again, it’s lights out.
Key to a Sri Lanka win
Niroshan Dickwella has had a poor tour. So too Thisara Perera. Kusal Mendis has had a poor T20I series. As a result, Sri Lanka haven’t been able to muster anything of note with the bat. It is their last chance to deliver the goods, and must overcome South Africa’s powerplay bowlers to set the innings up. If they rely on the superb Isuru Udana to get them out of a hole, again, it’s lights out.
Also, can Sri Lanka’s bowlers get the better of South Africa’s top order? Lasith Malinga was again good with the ball, but needs more support. Akila Dananjaya and Isuru Udana will be key members of the attack, and so too Jeffrey Vandersay and Thisara Perera. To win, Sri Lanka need an all-round bowling display.
