The 7th match of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) could be anything. The batting powerhouse that is Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who arrive in Hyderabad with a depleted and inexperienced attack off the back of a heartbreaking loss against the Depital Capitals.

SRH have smashed four of the five highest IPL totals, including 286 on Sunday on this ground. So, logic says the powerful batting lineup will have their way with the LSG attack on a flat Hyderabad track. However, if there is anything we know about the IPL is that it can surprise us.

That’s what LSG will be hoping for. They have a powerful batting lineup of their own, with Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran showing what they are capable of a few nights ago. Also, SRH conceded plenty against Rajasthan Royals (RR), so LSG will be looking to do the same.
