Strikers are yet to officially name their squad as of Thursday night. It remains to be seen if Peter Siddle will return in this clash. They desperately need big runs from their top four given the middle order is not firing.

• Matt Short continues to impress. He is the top run-scorer in BBL 12 with 458 at an average of 41.63 and strike rate of 147.64.
• Short has scored 170 runs in seven innings against Scorchers at an average of 24.29 and strike rate of 113.33.
• Alex Carey is coming off a half-century against the Sixers (54 off 35 balls). The keeper-batsman has the third-most runs at Adelaide Oval (891) with an average of 35.64 and strike rate of 134.80.
