The United States of America (USA), after a great win against Canada, will challenge Pakistan (PAK) in the 11th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The match will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

USA did well in the first game against Canada thanks to the heroics from Aaron Jones who single-handedly pulled his team back into the game. However, this will be a test for their batters against the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir and Naseem Shah.

The bowlers also need to be on their toes if they are to win this game. The likes of Ali Khan, Shadley Van Schalwyk, Harmeet Singh and Saurabh Netravalkar must bowl as a unit against the Pak batters. Corey Anderson, Steven Taylor & Andries Gous will be the key players for USA.

This will be the first game for Pakistan in the tournament and they’ll look to start off the campaign with a win. There are some concerns with the form of the likes of Azam Khan, Shadab Khan & Naseem Shah. The onus will be on the shoulders of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan while it’ll be interesting to see who they go with between Usman Khan and Saim Ayub.

The bowling looks good for Pakistan with Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf being in top form in the recent series against England. Imad Wasim is ruled out of this match but it opens the door for Abrar Ahmed who was brilliant in the PSL this year.
