West Indies v India 3rd T20I Preview Dream11. WI vs IND 3rd T20I Preview Dream11 Prediction 6th August 2019
‘Scrappy’ is the term that can be used to describe the first T20I. ‘Better’ can be used to describe the second. ‘Experimentation’ is the theme of the third.
With the series now over, both West Indies and India can look towards giving bench players a run as part of their preparations for next year’s World T20. Both sides have been far from perfect in this series, which gives an opportunity for players to come in and make a mark, with the Indians looking to land their sixth straight win over West Indies in T20Is.

Key to a West Indies win
The powerplay has been a source of disappointment for West Indies in this series. While it is very difficult to do worse than losing five wickets as they did in the first T20I, their very slow start last time out put them on the back foot. This time, the top order needs to put India on the back foot, setting the innings up for success in the middle and death over periods.
The positive though has been their bowling. Their three frontline bowlers – Cottrell, Thomas and Narine – went for less than seven an over combined in the second T20I, which this time requires more support from the likes of Keemo Paul and Carlos Brathwaite. India’s top three, regardless of personnel, will be key wickets given that their middle order remains a little shaky.
Key to an India win
India’s top three, led by Rohit Sharma, set the innings up nicely in the second T20I. However, their finishing is an area for improvement after scoring just eight an over in the final five overs, with the selectors’ insistence on Manish Pandey at five not paying off so far. This game is a great chance to open with KL Rahul, with the prolific T20 player key in setting the innings up for India.
However, Virat Kohli and company will be pleased with how the bowlers have performed. With first-team players rested, various bowlers have been presented with the opportunity to make a mark. Washington Sundar has been superb in stifling the Windies, along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Navdeep Saini throughout the series. Whoever is given a chance this time around will be tasked again with hurting the Windies in the powerplay period, of which the follow-up bowlers can build on.
Pitch and conditions
Thunderstorms are predicted to occur just before the start of play in Guyana. As a result, conditions could be similar to what was faced in Lauderhill.
Possible Playing 11
West Indies could look at bringing in the likes of John Campbell, Fabien Allen and Anthony Bramble for an opportunity.

Match Prediction
A series that hasn’t hit the heights hoped of it… yet.
Thunderstorms are forecast, but hopefully they should clear long enough to have a result. India look the more confident and well-rounded side at the moment, so I back them to win again.
