Cricket News: How to play Dream11 Multi-Match Fantasy | Dream11 introduces Multi-Match fantasy for Tata IPL 2023
Dream11 has introduced a new multi-match fantasy feature for the ongoing TATA Indian Premier League (IPL). Put simply, you can create a team and join cash contests for a specific set of matches, rather than just the usual one match.
As a player, you can create a fantasy XI comprising of players from different teams in that particular set of matches. For example, in the “Weekend Special” example below, you can pick an XI of players from SRH, LSG, DC, PBKS, RR, RCB, CSK and KKR.
What is Dream11 Multi-Match Fantasy? things to know
- The deadline is the start of the first match in the set, which is Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants in this example.
- You can transfer different players to and from your team depending on how you are travelling, whether there is an injury or any other reason. You have a maximum of 12 transfers across the contest. You can only make these transfers before each match, and they only count after the first-match deadline.
- Winnings are based on your points at the end of the round/set.
Each round has the contests, leaderboards and winnings you would get in regular fantasy. You can create or join private contests with friends for the entire round of your choice.
The Dream11 Multi-Match Fantasy initiative is a way to encourage unique teams and perspectives of fantasy players. With a fantasy XI created across a number of matches, we can expect to see different teams which makes for interesting competition.
