ZIM vs AFG 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report | ZIM vs AFG 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan 3rd T20 Key Players | Harare Pitch Report
Afghanistan will be eyeing a clean sweep as it heads into the third T20I vs Zimbabwe on Tuesday at the Harare Sports Club. The Mohammed Nabi-led team has performed incredibly well in the initial two matches and thus gained an unassailable lead in the series.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be hoping to restore some parity after facing a comprehensive defeat in the previous game. This series has been a fine preparation for Afghanistan as they will be looking to put up a formidable performance in the World T20 scheduled later this year. Though the conditions will be strikingly different in Australia, Nabi’s team will gain confidence from the promising form shown by their top players so far.

ZIM vs AFG 3rd T20 Possible Playing 11
Zimbabwe can take some pride from their batting performance in the last game as quite a few players stood up to score decent runs in a challenging chase. However, the inability to form partnerships that could take them par the finishing line resulted in their dismal loss. Here is their predicted XI for the last match of the series.
Zimbabwe: 1: Innocent Kaia, 2: Wessley Madhevere, 3: Tadiwanashi Marumani, 4: Craig Ervine (C), 5: Sikandar Raza, 6: Ryan Burl, 7: Regis Chakabva (wk), 8: Luke Jongve, 9: Donald Tiripano, 10: Ainsley Ndlovu, 11: Tendai Chatara
Barring any last-minute injuries, Afghanistan do not have many reasons to tinker around their playing XI. They should be arguably looking to provide as much playing time as possible to their most likely XI for the forthcoming World T20.
Afghanistan: 1: Hazratullah Zazai, 2: Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 3: Usman Ghani, 4: Darwish Rasooli, 5: Najibullah Zadran, 6: Karim Janat, 7: Mohammed Nabi (c), 8: Rashid Khan, 9: Azmatullah Omarzai, 10: Fazalhaq Farooqi, 11: Nijat Masood
Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
Zimbabwe:
- Zimbabwean skipper Craig Ervine clearly struggles against Afghanistan. He has scored merely 25 runs in five T20Is against them.
- Regis Chakabva came in to bat at number seven in the previous game. He is not really acquainted with this rule considering that he has opened or batted at number three in 22 out of his 37 T20I innings so far.
- Sikandar Raza has scored only a single half-century in his 47 T20I innings so far. Even that was against Afghanistan at the Queens Sports Club way back in 2015. However, he has been in good touch on this tour, with his latest effort a 21-ball 41 in the second T20I.
- Ryan Burl is Zimbabwe’s top wicket-taker in this series (4). Luke Jongwe has 20 wickets to his name in 13 T20s at Harare.
Afghanistan:
- Hazratullah Zazai has already racked up 800 runs in 24 T20Is so far. He has average of 36.36 whilst striking at a rate of 148.42 in the shortest format of the international game.
- Zazai has smashed scores of 45 and 27 this series at a strike rate of 187.17.
- Najibullah Zadran fancies playing against Zimbabwe. He has featured in all but one of Afghanistan’s T20Is against them. Zadran has notched 323 runs at an average and strike rate of 46.14 and 150.93 respectively in these games.
- Rashid Khan’s impressive batting prowess hasn’t been optimised by the Afghans so far. He has batted at number eight or below in 25 out of his 30 T20I innings so far. With the ball, Rashid has taken three wickets in this series at an economy rate of just 6.62.
- Karim Janat’s only T20I half-century has come against Zimbabwe. He had scored 53 runs when the two sides faced off each other at Abu Dhabi in March 2021.
- Nijat Masood has taken four wickets in two matches in this series.
