Bangladesh host Ireland in a three-match T20I series starting on Thursday November 27. The Tigers will be looking to build on the momentum of their Test series win, while improving their performances in T20I cricket.

Bangladesh have had a mixed year. They reached the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup and beat Afghanistan 3-0 soon after. However, the missed opportunities in the Asia Cup plus 3-0 whitewash against the West Indies shows there is plenty of room for improvement.

For Ireland, this will be just their seventh T20I of the year. But, they have players who have experience in Bangladesh, including all-rounders who can turn matches. A good start in the series can give them plenty of confidence moving forward as the T20 World Cup approaches.
