It is the biggest game of the IPL – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK). M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, will host this blockbuster.
RCB won their first game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in style. Their bowlers did go for runs, but the batters kept their cool and made the score of 201 runs look way too easy. Virat Kohli (69* runs), Devdutt Padikkal (61 runs), and Rajat Patidar (31 runs) were exceptional with the bat.
Jacob Duffy (3/22) and Romario Shepherd (3/54) were the pick of the bowlers for RCB. Their team is looking excellent with quality depth in both departments. RCB will be eyeing their second win of the season against a struggling CSK side.
Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile, have lost their first two games of this season. In the last game, they scored 209 runs, but the bowlers looked clueless, and they eventually lost the game. Ayush Mhatre (73 runs), Shivam Dube (45 runs), and Sarfaraz Khan (32 runs) showed excellent form with the bat.
However, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson must click for CSK before it’s too late. They also need consistency from youngster Kartik Sharma, whom they rate very highly.
CSK’s bowling feels non-existent at this point. They are unable to apply pressure during the powerplay, middle overs, or towards the end. Matt Henry has been very expensive while Anshul Kamboj and Khaleel Ahmed have been above average. Noor Ahmad’s poor form in the first two games is a big concern as he’s their main bet during the middle overs. CSK will be itching for those two points in this match as a third-straight loss spells trouble.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru Pitch Report and Weather
There will be help for the pacers with the new ball, especially in the first innings. After that, the wicket will be a run-fest for the batters. Pacers will get good bounce with the spinners getting little to no help, but overall, the batters will dominate the game.
We saw SRH score 201 runs even after being 29 for 3 in the 5th over. The average first innings score here in the last edition was 170 runs. Chasing will be the way to go in this game.
It will be a slightly cloudy day in Bengaluru with no chance of rain. The weather will be clear with the temperature being around 27-28 degrees Celsius.
Fantasy Cricket Tips for RCB vs CSK: Players to Watch/Key Stats
Top wicketkeeper Picks:
- Sanju Samson has been in horrible form in the last two games. He has failed to score even double digits. He’ll be a key batter for CSK at the top of the order and can handle Duffy’s new ball burst. Sanju, despite his current struggles, will be a top fantasy pick.
- Phil Salt will look to attack from the first ball. Considering CSK’s bowling form, Salt can score big in this game if he gets going. His current form isn’t that great, but he will fancy his chances in this game.
Key batter picks:
- Ruturaj Gaikwad is a top-class but out-of-form batter for CSK. He scored 28 runs in the last game, but it took him 22 deliveries, despite opening the innings. He’s nowhere close to his fluent best, but he’ll be eager to lead from the front in this game.
- Sarfaraz Khan bullied the Punjab bowlers in the last game. He literally toyed with them while playing a couple of his shots. He plays all around the ground and can be the game-changer for CSK in the middle order.
- Ayush Mhatre scored an excellent 73 in the last game. He had scored 93 runs when these two sides met last time at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Mhatre looked very positive against Punjab and will look to continue that in this game. He’ll be a top C/VC choice.
- Rajat Patidar scored 31 off just 12 in the last game. He’s an excellent spin hitter, and CSK’s spinners have been below average in the two games so far. He’s another player who’ll be in for a good outing. You can back Patidar in your fantasy teams.
- Virat Kohli scored 69* runs in the last match and saw his side over the line. Kohli looked at his best as he scored quickly and kept the pressure on the bowlers. Kohli will be the most popular C/VC choice.
Top all-rounder picks:
- Shivam Dube scored 45* runs in the last game and helped his side score 200 runs. Dube is in top form as he now hits the pacers well alongside the spinners and can bowl an over or two if needed. Dube will be a top C/VC choice against RCB’s two spinners.
Key bowler picks:
- Jacob Duffy picked up 3 wickets in the powerplay itself. He hits the deck hard, can extract some extra bounce, and will trouble the CSK batters, especially the middle order. Duffy will fancy his chances against the CSK openers.

IPL 2026 11th Match: RCB vs CSK Match Prediction: Who will win?
CSK have two big concerns: their bowling and the form of their two best batters in Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad. They’ll have to fix these two quickly.
RCB, on other hand, have in-form batters and bowlers with great depth in their squad.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru should win this match.
