Ace South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has posted a video of himself bowling in the nets ahead of the Australia Test series.
There were fears that Rabada would miss the entire series due to a serious hamstring suffered during winter training. However, Cricket South Africa (CSA) released a statement soon after stating that his participation in the Test series depends on “how he progresses through his rehabilitation,” as per Cricinfo.

The video, posted as a story on his official Instagram page, shows Rabada going through his paces. He is not at full tilt, but the fact he is bowling provides hope that he can feature in the Australia Test series at some stage.
CSA will make a call on Rabada’s availability closer to the series, which begins on October 9 in Durban. The remaining two Tests will be at Gqeberha (starting October 18) and Cape Town (starting October 27).
The Proteas will be hoping Rabada plays a part in the series. He has been a thorn in Australia’s side over the years, taking 38 wickets 21.39 in 11 Tests. This includes a superb nine-wicket haul in South Africa’s victory in the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) Final.
