The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the groups and fixtures for the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The tournament will start on October 2 and the final is scheduled for November 21. India takes on Australia in Cape Town on October 7 and arch-rivals Pakistan in Johannesburg on October 10.

ODI World Cup 2027 schedule: India to Face Both Australia and Pakistan in World Cup Group A
Australia and India, who faced each other in the final of the 2023 edition, will meet early in the tournament when they kick off their World Cup campaign against each other on October 7 in Cape Town.
The Round 2 action combinations are like Group A: Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Qualifier A, with Group B: South Africa, England, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and second qualifier
India and Pakistan have been drawn into the same group once again. It sets up another much-awaited contest between the two sides on October 10 in Johannesburg. The game is expected to attract a lot of interest as both sides look to progress in the tournament.
Cape Town will host the first semi-final on November 17. The second semi-final will be contested on November 18 in Tshwane. The winners of the two matches will meet in the final on November 21 for the World Cup title.
