Three days after Adelaide Strikers handed Melbourne Renegades yet another heavy defeat in BBL 10, the two sides meet once again at the Adelaide Oval in an important game for both sides, but for different reasons.

The Strikers, with four wins and four losses, are aiming for consistency. Two games in quick succession against the struggling Renegades is a good opportunity to find some form, especially given the first meeting ended with an easy 60-run win for the Alex Carey-led side. • Danny Briggs has taken seven wickets in his last five matches, including four in his last three at Adelaide.

Melbourne Renegades:

• Cometh the hour, cometh Aaron Finch? The Renegades and Australia skipper is struggling in BBL 10, with just 132 runs at an average of 18.85, including a golden duck vs Strikers. The Renegades desperately need him to perform here.
• Mackenzie Harvey was the Renegades’ top-scorer against Strikers three nights ago with 34.
• Beau Webster, like many of his teammates, is struggling in BBL 10. However, he played well against the Strikers last season, with scores of 49 (33) and 36* (26).
• Kane Richardson has taken 11 wickets in eight games this season, the most of any Renegades bowler so far in BBL 10. He also has eight wickets in five matches against the Renegades. He will be key.
