Cricket News: Best Twitter reactions as Bengaluru weather spoils IND-SA decider | Reactions as Bengaluru weather ruins IND vs SA 5th T20
Rain had the final say in a series that ebbed and flowed, with India and South Africa sharing the trophy after the fifth T20 was washed out at Bengaluru. It is quite the anti-climax given the home side fought back from 2-0 down to level things up at 2-2, with a large crowd at the Chinnaswamy sure to add to the occasion.
Just 21 deliveries were bowled, where India lost both their openers early. Lungi Ngidi followed up his good showing in the fourth T20I with another at Bengaluru, but no further play was possible.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was awarded player of the series for his six wickets at a superb economy rate of just 6.07. For South Africa, it keeps their unbeaten run in India alive after winning in 2015 and drawing in 2019.
Here are some of the best reactions as the Bengaluru rain caused a no result in the decider.

Lots of positives to take from this series – Rishabh Pant
Speaking after the no result was confirmed, India captain Rishabh Pant praised his team for bouncing back so well, especially given he lost all five coin tosses.
“It might get a little bit frustrating, but there are a lot of positives, especially the way the whole team showed character after the series was 2-0. Mistakes will happen, but we are going in the right way” he said.
“I think this is the first time I’ve lost this many tosses at the same time, but it’s not in my control, so I’m not thinking about it too much.”

Keshav Maharaj, who stood in for injured captain Temba Bavuma, also said that his team are a work in progress.
“We’re a work in progress, and we’re trying different combinations to see how we shape up ahead of the World Cup. It’s a strong Indian outfit we came up against, so we didn’t want to take anything for granted,” he said.
