DC vs RCB Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 27

DC vs RCB Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 27 | DC vs BLR Dream11 Prediction Today | Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Key Players | Wankhede Pitch Report

It’s go time for both Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both teams are in an IPL 2022 mid-table logjam, with victory here important in the early race to the playoffs.

Delhi, who have waited nearly a week for this game, are set to welcome back Mitch Marsh according to Shane Watson in his interview with The Grade Cricketer. This is a welcome boost to a side that needs that extra bit of batting depth. Also, the David Warner-Prithvi Shaw combination fired last week, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur showed their finishing capabilities, and a number of the DC players have good matchups against RCB’s.

So, the challenge is set for a RCB team that struggled significantly against CSK without Harshal Patel. Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube took them apart, so the thinktank needs to find ways to stem the flow at the Wankhede – a ground where runs can flow at a rapid pace. If they can do that, they have batting form of their own – particularly in the middle order – to capitalise and get an important win.

Possible Playing 11

Mitch Marsh likely to come in for Rovman Powell. Also, DC could look to push Pant down to five for finishing purposes.

Delhi Capitals: 1. Prithvi Shaw, 2. David Warner, 3. Mitch Marsh, 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Lalit Yadav, 6. Sarfaraz Khan, 7. Axar Patel, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Kuldeep Yadav, 10. Mustafizur Rahman, 11. Khaleel Ahmed

RCB are still without Harshal Patel. Given their struggles at the death without him, they could look to bring in Siddarth Kaul for Akash Deep.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: 1. Faf du Plessis (c), 2. Anuj Rawat/Mahipal Lomror, 3. Virat Kohli, 4. Glenn Maxwell, 5. Shahbaz Ahmed, 6. Suyash Prabhudessai, 7. Dinesh Karthik (wk), 8. Wanindu Hasaranga, 9. Siddarth Kaul, 10. Mohammed Siraj, 11. Josh Hazlewood

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Delhi Capitals:

  • David Warner has superb numbers against RCB. The left-hander has struck 754 runs at an average of 44.35 and strike rate of 160.43. Also, Warner has some fine numbers against RCB’s key bowlers: 43 off 21 vs Hasaranga (no dismissal) and 36 off 19 vs Siraj (one dismissal).
  • Prithvi Shaw has been terrific in his last two knocks (61 off 34 and 51 off 29), and he is striking at 170 this season. He has middling numbers against RCB that he’d like to build on today: 7 inns, 168 runs, avg. 24.00, SR 147.37.
  • Shaw at Wankhede: 5 inns, 176 runs, avg. 35.20, SR 167.62.
  • Mitch Marsh had a year to remember in 2021. He struck 1,089 runs in T20s at an average of 43.56 and strike rate of 139.26. Also, he averages 38.97 in 36 innings at number three with a strike rate of 127.34.
  • Rishabh Pant also has excellent numbers against RCB: 11 inns, 387 runs, avg. 43.00, SR 147.15. However, the DC captain will have to guard against sending catches down to third man. He has been dismissed twice in this fashion already this season.
  • Shardul Thakur produced an all-round show last week vs KKR (29* off 11 and 2/30). However, his economy rate of 10.32 for the season is one he will be looking to improve.
  • Shardul to take wickets at the death? He has conceded just 19 off 20 against Dinesh Karthik (one dimissal) and 24 off 22 against Maxwell (two dismissals).
  • Mustafizur Rahman is in fine touch this season. The left-armer is conceding just 5.83 per over. His left-arm partner, Khaleel Ahmed, is yet to be hit for a six and has taken at least two wickets in each match so far in IPL 2022.
  • How well is Kuldeep Yadav going? He has taken 10 wickets in four matches this season. Also, he has taken six wickets in five matches at the Wankhede (SR 18).

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

  • Faf du Plessis is striking at just 82.81 in the powerplay this season, so how he starts against DC’s in-form bowlers will be key. He has a middling record against the Capitals (13 inns, 342 runs, avg. 26.31, SR 117.53), and scored 0, 10 and 1 against them last season.
  • However, Faf has the class to turn it on and has a strong record at the Wankhede: 16 inns, 508 runs, avg. 39.08, SR 131.27.
  • Virat Kohli is yet to fire this season, but today could be the day. He has a magnificent record against Delhi, with 937 runs at an average of 55.12 and strike rate of 136.59. Also, he loves batting at the Wankhede, with 682 runs in 16 innings at an average of 75.78 and strike rate of 156.42.
  • Glenn Maxwell struck scores of 51 and 25 against DC last season at a strike rate of 143.40. He was looking in brilliant touch vs CSK (26 off 10 balls) before he was bowled by Jadeja against the run of play.
  • Suyash Prabhudessai impressed last time out against CSK (34 off 18 balls). He and Dinesh Karthik (strike rate of 218.33 in IPL 2022) will be key for RCB.
  • Wanindu Hasaranga is one of five bowlers to have at least 10 wickets so far in IPL 2022. Eight of his 10 wickets have been right-handers, so he could be crucial against Shaw, Marsh and Lalit Yadav.
  • Josh Hazlewood has taken three wickets in as many matches vs DC, although Dhawan and Iyer are no longer with the franchise. He will be key today.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Rishabh Pant has scored just 45 off 39 against spin this season. Also, Glenn Maxwell has dismissed Pant twice in 12 deliveries in T20s, for just 11 runs.
  • Kuldeep Yadav could be used to keep Virat Kohli as quiet as possible. The left-arm spinner has conceded just 37 off 35 against Virat.
  • Kohli enjoys batting against Shardul Thakur in the IPL: 38 balls faced, 64 runs scored.
  • Shahbaz Ahmed has struck scores of 27, 45 and 41 this season at a strike rate of 154.79.
  • Mohammed Siraj is conceding 16.83 in the death overs this season. Akash Deep is faring even worse at 20.11 per over.
  • Prithvi Shaw has scored 28 off 17 against Josh Hazlewood without dismissal. Rishabh Pant has scored 21 off 13 also without dismissal.

Wankhede Pitch Report and Weather

The scores have been on the lower side at the Wankhede this season, with a touch of slowness about the surfaces. The average first innings score on this ground in IPL 2022 is 152, with the chasing team winning four of the five matches.

Last time out, the Royals won by three runs against Lucknow in a tactical T20. Here, expect the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

MI vs LSG Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 26

MI vs LSG Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 26 | MI vs LKN Dream11 Prediction Today | Mumbai Indians vs Lucknow Super Giants Key Players | Brabourne Pitch Report

Cricket can be a game of miracles, and Mumbai Indians will add to the list of miracles if they reach the playoffs from here. Not only have they lost five consecutive matches to start the season, but their bowling depth is non-existent, prompting captain Rohit Sharma to state that MI have not played good cricket for a while.

The competitiveness of the 10-team league is highlighted by six teams now on six points. Given how close the race is likely to be, a few wins in a row – as Sunrisers Hyderabad have achieved – can put you right back in the hunt. This is what should motivate MI to put on a good showing, with the form of youngsters Dewald Brevis and Tilak Varma a strong positive to build on today.

But it won’t be easy against a Lucknow Super Giants team filled with batting and bowling depth. Unlike MI, LSG are not short on bowling options, with no less than eight bowlers that KL Rahul could turn to at any stage of the innings. The key will be to limit MI in the powerplay and middle overs, as the five-time champions have also struggled at the death. Also, if KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock can provide a strong start, LSG could very well be on their way to winning a vital match that will put them in the top four.

IPL 2022 Match 26: MI vs LSG Dream11 Prediction – IPL 2022 table

Possible Playing 11

MI could look at a few changes. Tim David is an option to help their failing lower order. If not David, then Fabian Allen can provide important all-round experience. Mayank Markande is another leg-spin option in the squad, while the team may look at playing just one of Jaydev Unadkat and Basil Thampi.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Rohit Sharma (c), 2. Ishan Kishan (wk), 3. Dewald Brevis, 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Kieron Pollard, 7. Fabian Allen/Tim David, 8. Tymal Mills, 9. Mayank Markande/M Ashwin, 10. Jasprit Bumrah, 11 Basil Thampi/Jaydev Unadkat

LSG look much more settled and should stick with same XI from their previous match.

Lucknow Super Giants: 1. KL Rahul (c), 2. Quinton de Kock (wk), 3. Marcus Stoinis, 4. Deepak Hooda, 5. Ayush Badoni, 6. Jason Holder, 7. Krunal Pandya, 8. K Gowtham, 9. Dushmantha Chameera, 10. Avesh Khan, 11. Ravi Bishnoi

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Lucknow Super Giants:

  • KL Rahul has magnificent numbers against MI. The opener has struck 661 runs in 14 matches against them at an average of 66.1 and strike rate of 128.10. This includes five half-centuries and a century.
  • Rahul has good numbers against a couple of MI’s pacers. He has scored 111 runs off 84 balls against Bumrah (two dismissals) and 72 off 43 vs Unadkat (one dismissal).
  • Quinton de Kock comes up against his former team, and he should be motivated to perform. He strikes at 144 in the powerplay in the IPL, followed by an average of just 23 and strike rate of 124 in overs 7-11. If he gets to overs 12-16 where he strikes at 144, watch out.
  • de Kock has scored 45 off 31 against Unadkat (no dismissal), 26 off 15 against Thampi (no dismissal) and 29 off 19 against M Ashwin (no dismissal) in T20s.
  • Deepak Hooda has struck two half-centuries in five matches this season. He has made a double-figure score in all matches so far in IPL 2022 (55, 13, 51, 11 and 25).
  • Marcus Stoinis’ finishing has improved in recent years, and he credited the IPL as a key reason for that. Given MI’s death-bowling struggles, Stoinis has the ability to pounce at this stage with some big hitting. So, LSG could look to bring him in later.
  • Jason Holder has taken five wickets in three matches this season, and has six wickets in two matches vs MI.
  • Dushmantha Chameera will be a key weapon against Rohit Sharma. He has dismissed the MI skipper an incredible six times in 32 deliveries in T20s – the most times Rohit has been dismissed by any bowler.
  • Avesh Khan is Lucknow’s leading wicket-taker this season with eight. Also, he has taken five wickets in six overs so far against MI, including the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav last season.

Mumbai Indians:

  • Can Rohit Sharma overcome his terrible record against Chameera? The MI captain has looked in good touch in his last two matches, before getting out for a start (26 and 28). He became the second Indian to reach 10,000 T20 runs in his last match.
  • Dewald Brevis was magnificent against PBKS. His 25-ball 49 was so good that millions thought AB de Villiers made a return. He was particularly ruthless against the leg-spin of Rahul Chahar, so Brevis’ battle with Ravi Bishnoi could be interesting.
  • Suryakumar Yadav has struck two half-centuries and a 43 so far this season at an overall strike rate of 158.25. He strikes at over 130 in all stages of an IPL innings, including over 200 at the death.
  • Tilak Varma has also impressed in this IPL. The young left-hander has struck 157 runs in five matches at an average of 39.25 and strike rate of 160.20.
  • Jasprit Bumrah will be key to MI’s hopes, without a doubt. He has dimissed Stoinis three times for just 14 runs in 21 deliveries in the IPL.
  • Despite his high economy rate, Tymal Mills remains MI’s leading wicket-taker this season (6). He will also be key in the death overs.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Ravi Bishnoi has impressive numbers against MI’s key players. Suryakumar Yadav strikes at just 89 against him with two dismissals. Also, the highest strike rate against Bishnoi is 118 among Rohit, Kishan and Pollard. He took 2/24 on this ground earlier this season.
  • Ishan Kishan has struggled for fluency in his last few matches, but there is always hope that he can rediscover it quickly. He scored 81* off 48 balls on this ground vs DC earlier in IPL 2022.
  • MI have just two left-handers listed in the top seven, so K Gowtham’s role could be limited to the powerplay against Ishan Kishan.
  • KL Rahul has scored the most runs of any player in the IPL since the start of 2018 (2,680). His average in this period is 53.6.
  • MI also lost their first five matches in IPL 2014. They ended up qualifying for the playoffs. However, that was an eight-team league.

Brabourne Stadium Pitch Report and Weather

Brabourne has been a good ground for the batsmen in IPL 2022. The average first innings score is 191, and the chasing team has won four of the six matches so far this season. Last night, SRH chased KKR’s 175 with ease.

Dew won’t be a factor in this game. After Delhi smashed 215 against KKR last week, the captain who wins the toss might be tempted to bat first in this day game.

The best tweets by Amit Mishra during IPL 2022

Cricket News: The best tweets by Amit Mishra during IPL 2022 | A selection of the best tweets by Amit Mishra in TATA IPL 2022

Amit Mishra, one of the IPL’s most prolific bowlers ever, seemed quite reserved and focused on doing his job to the best of his ability. While the latter always ran true, Mishra is now taking Twitter by storm during IPL 2022 thanks to some superb content.

With the rise of parody accounts, it’s the kind of content you have to check whether Mishra actually has the blue tick next to his name. Below is a selection of his very best so far in IPL 2022, with more to come at this rate.

Selection of the best tweets by Amit Mishra so far in IPL 2022

Even as Royal Challengers Bangalore have improved significantly since the start of 2020, there is always time for a cheeky dig.

There is always time for an alpha move. Always time to remind your rival of your success. After all, what’s cricket without that?

At 39 years of age, Mishra is still two years away from a CSK call-up.

Throw away the laptops, pick up the pen and paper. And all the desks while you’re at it.

Maybe Mumbai Indians could use with a pen and paper? They’re hurting. Rohit Sharma has admitted the team hasn’t played well for quite a while. However, it didn’t stop another cheeky dig by Mishra.

CSK’s first win brought about the inner philosopher out of Mishra. How does he think of these things?

A job as a social media admin awaits Mishra in the future. Maybe Rajasthan Royals. With IPL 2022 still in its early stages, we can expect more gold from Amit Mishra on Twitter to keep us entertained.

“Not been playing good cricket for a while” – MI captain Rohit

Cricket News: “Not been playing good cricket for a while” – MI captain Rohit | MI captain Rohit Sharma speaks after fifth-consecutive defeat in IPL 2022

The number five is exclusively met with joy by all associated with the Mumbai Indians (MI). With their five titles, MI are aguably the greatest T20 franchise ever, with an incredible ability to win the big moments.

When they have missed the playoffs since 2013, they have come back to win the title the next season. This time, however, they have suffered five consecutive defeats to start the season, which already puts them on very thin ice in a 10-team league. While the form of Baby AB Dewald Brevis, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma has been a positive, the bowling, apart from Jasprit Bumrah, has been of huge concern.

It was on show again as Punjab Kings amassed close to 200 in Pune.

“MI have not been playing good cricket for a while. That’s why we’ve been on the losing side” – Rohit

Speaking at the post-match press conference, MI captain Rohit Sharma praised elements of his team’s batting. Also, he said the franchise is working hard to find the right formula, which has eluded them so far.

“We’re trying to find different ideas, different thought processes,” Rohit said.

“It doesn’t seem to be working at the moment but I don’t want to take anything away from the guys. We fought pretty well. We batted brilliantly, but they held their nerves pretty good, the Kings, and they won the game. We’ve been not playing good cricket for a while and that’s why we’ve been on the losing side, simple as that.”

Rohit also lamented MI’s inability to hold their nerve in the crunch moments – an attribute that often served them so well in the past. They were on par with the run rate for the most part, as they were against Rajasthan Royals earlier this season before falling away.

I thought we played the game pretty well, came pretty close towards the back end of our batting innings,” said the MI captain. “It’s just that a couple of crucial runouts there was not needed, but that happens. At one stage we were cruising through and keeping up with the run rate as well, but in the end we couldn’t hold our nerves. Credit to Kings with the way they bowled at the backend.

“The Kings batted pretty well up front and put pressure on our bowlers, got a 90-100 run partnership to begin with. But I thought 190+ was chaseable on that pitch because that pitch was really good to bat on as you saw when we were batting as well. We just have to go back and see what we do as a team.”

Rohit Sharma

It is desperation time for the Mumbai Indians as they sit six points behind the fourth-placed Lucknow Super Giants. Given how competitive the league is (RCB in sixth also on six points), MI will need a miracle to turn their form around enough to quality for the playoffs.

They have a quick turnaround as they play Lucknow on Saturday in a day game at Brabourne.

RR vs GT Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 24

RR vs GT Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 24 | RR vs GT Dream11 Prediction Today | Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans Key Players | DY Patil Pitch Report

An all-top four clash will headline Thursday in the IPL. Rajasthan Royals sit atop the table courtesy of three wins in four matches, and all have come when defending a total. Their latest – an exciting, tactically sound three-run win over Lucknow Super Giants – should fill them with further confidence as the season begins to take shape.

However, the sixth bowling option and form of the middle-lower order after the brilliant Shimron Hetmyer are areas the Royals need to look at. This game is a chance to do that, especially given they come up against one of the league’s strongest bowling trios. Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson and Rashid Khan will be key in the Gujarat Titans’ attempt to dismantle the capable Royals’ top order, and the battle promises to be fascinating.

While the Royals have a couple of issues to iron out, so do the Titans despite their strong start. There seems to be a reliance on Shubman Gill with the bat as the overseas batsmen are short on form, while Hardik Pandya’s strike rate isn’t where it usually is. Also, the Royals will see an opportunity to pounce outside the Titans’ main bowling trio, so how well the likes of Darshan Nalkande, Hardik and Rahul Tewatia can limit the Royals’ batting will be important.

Possible Playing 11

The sixth bowler is an issue that remains with the Royals. Riyan Parag is very highly rated at the Royals, with Sanju Samson saying that this could easily be his breakthrough season. So, they could replace Rassie van der Dussen with Jimmy Neesham.

Rajasthan Royals: 1. Devdutt Padikkal, 2. Jos Buttler, 3. Sanju Samson (c & wk), 4. Rassie van der Dussen/Jimmy Neesham, 5. Shimron Hetmyer, 6. Riyan Parag, 7. R Ashwin, 8. Trent Boult, 9. Yuzvendra Chahal, 10. Kuldeep Sen, 11. Prasidh Krishna

For the Titans, Matthew Wade’s form is a bit of a worry, as is David Miller’s. They have the option of Rahmanullah Gurbaz or Wriddhiman Saha at the top.

Gujarat Titans: 1. Shubman Gill, 2. Matthew Wade (wk), 3. Sai Sudharsan, 4. Hardik Pandya (c), 5. David Miller, 6. Abhinav Manohar, 7. Rahul Tewatia, 8. Rashid Khan, 9. Lockie Ferguson, 10. Mohammed Shami, 11. Darshan Nalkande

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Rajasthan Royals:

  • Jos Buttler can take the game away from any opponent. At the time of writing, he is the Orange Cap holder with 218 runs in four innings, including a century on this very ground against MI earlier this season.
  • Buttler averages 51 and strikes at 150 vs high-pace in the IPL, so he will back himself against the likes of Shami and Ferguson. However, he strikes at a lower 131 vs wrist-spin at an average of 28, so Buttler’s battle with Rashid Khan could be fascinating.
  • Can Sanju Samson rediscover the kind of form we saw in RR’s first game of the season where he scored 55 off 27 balls? It is possible, as he has some good numbers against GT’s key bowlers. He has struck 46 runs off 26 deliveries vs Shami (one dismissal), 37 off 20 against Hardik (one dismissal) and 68 off 71 against Rashid (one dismissal).
  • Shimron Hetmyer is in career-best form. After striking at 168 last season, Hetmyer has smashed 168 runs this season at an average of 84 and superb strike rate of 178.72. His 59* off 36 balls got RR out of trouble last game (although he had some luck with a dropped catch).
  • Yuzvendra Chahal (11 wickets) is the Purple Cap holder in IPL 2021. Both Jimmy Neesham and Rassie van der Dussen looked to Chahal as a key part of the bowling attack, and he is delivering.
  • RR could look to use Chahal in the powerplay against Gill. He has dismissed Gill once in 11 deliveries in the IPL (15 runs).
  • Trent Boult was outstanding in the powerplay against LSG, and he will be key against Gill in particular. He has taken 1/23 off 22 deliveries to Gill in the IPL. If he finds swing, watch out.

Gujarat Titans:

  • Shubman Gill’s importance was highlighted in the last match as GT struggled to make a par score after his early dismissal. He has been in terrific form this season, with 187 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 159.82.
  • Hardik Pandya has struck 141 runs at a fine average of 47.00, but his strike rate of 122.60 needs to go up if GT are to get the big totals. He has struck 29 off 13 balls against RR’s best death option Trent Boult in the IPL (one dismissal).
  • The Royals average 25.5 per wicket against leg-spin so far in IPL 2022, which is the worst of any team. So, GT could look to use Rahul Tewatia in partnership with Rashid Khan. Rashid takes a wicket every 21 deliveries on average vs Royals.
  • Mohammed Shami has a solid record against Jos Buttler in T20s. In 21 deliveries, Shami has dismissed Buttler twice and conceded just 25 runs.
  • Shami, along with Rashid, are GT’s top wicket-takers in IPL 2022 (6).
  • Lockie Ferguson was expensive last game vs Sunrisers, but he remains a key wicket-taking weapon. He took 4/28 two matches ago.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Royals are hitting 11.5 sixes per match, which is the most of any team in IPL 2022. Gujarat are at the bottom for six-hitting, with just four per match.
  • Prasidh Krishna concedes 6.87 per over off good-length deliveries in the IPL. This will be of key focus for Krishna and the Royals for this match.
  • RR could look to use Chahal and Ashwin to Hardik Pandya. The GT captain strikes at just 104 vs Chahal and 100 vs Ashwin.
  • Sanju Samson is striking at just 109 against pace this season. Conversely, he is striking at 236 vs spin.
  • Rashid Khan is one wicket away from becoming the fourth overseas player to take 100 IPL wickets.

DY Patil Sports Academy Pitch Report and Weather

CSK’s Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa combined to tear RCB’s attack to shreds on this ground on Tuesday night. CSK finished with 216/4, of which RCB then replied with 193 on a fine batting surface.

Before that, there were some under-par scores on this ground, but the batting conditions are pretty good despite a touch of slowness at times. Chasing could be the way to go as the team batting second has won five of eight matches at DY Patil in IPL 2022.

MI vs PBKS Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 23 | MI vs PBKS Dream11 Prediction Today | Mumbai Indians vs Punjab Kings Key Players | Pune Pitch Report

Chennai Super Kings’ victory yesterday means that Mumbai Indians are the only winless team so far in IPL 2022. It is quite the situation for the five-time champions, who are often flexing their muscle at this stage of the season to surge up the table.

The key question today is whether MI’s bowling can hold up against Punjab Kings’ dynamic and powerful batting lineup. The Kings have made it clear that they will go all out with the bat, so if MI can’t stop the momentum early, it could be another long night for Rohit Sharma’s men as they look to avoid an incredible fifth-straight defeat.

Also, with the bat, it has been Suryakumar Yadav that has led the way, with most of the others struggling to find their best form. This includes Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard, who must produce today alongside the likes of Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma. The belief for MI has to be that if CSK can find a way to get their first win, they can as well.

For Punjab, they have had time to reflect over their heartbreaking loss to Gujarat Titans over the weekend. Rahul Tewatia, with two sixes to win the match, was a thorn in their side once again. So, how their death bowling fares today will be interesting to see, as they come up against an MI side that has often struggled between overs 7-20 since last season. Cricketers including Jimmy Neesham, in a recent interview with CricBlog, said that the Kings are a team to watch this season. This is their chance to prove it.

Possible Playing 11

MI went in with just two overseas players against RCB. They have the option of both Fabian Allen and Tymal Mills to bring some T20 experience into the team. Allen in particular could be handy against a PBKS team that has a lot of right-handers.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Rohit Sharma (c), 2. Ishan Kishan (wk), 3. Dewald Brevis, 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Kieron Pollard, 7. Fabian Allen, 8. Murugan Ashwin, 9. Tymal Mills, 10. Jasprit Bumrah, 11. Jaydev Unadkat/Basil Thampi

Odean Smith could hold his spot as PBKS need the bowling option. They do have the option of Nathan Ellis, too.

Also, PBKS could choose to play a domestic bowling option over Odean Smith and include both Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Jonny Bairstow in the XI, with perhaps Shahrukh Khan to miss out.

Punjab Kings: 1. Mayank Agarwal (c), 2. Shikhar Dhawan, 3. Jonny Bairstow/Bhanuka Rajapaksa, 4. Liam Livingstone, 5. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6. Shahrukh Khan, 7. Odean Smith/Nathan Ellis, 8. Kagiso Rabada, 9. Rahul Chahar, 10. Arshdeep Singh, 11. Vaibhav Arora

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Mumabi Indians:

  • Rohit Sharma showed glimpses of his best form against RCB, before spooning a return catch to Harshal Patel against the run of play. The MI skipper is in need of runs (just 80 so far this season); he has 494 runs against PBKS at an average of 27.44 and strike rate of 129.32.
  • Rohit has scored 56 runs off 45 deliveries against Kagiso Rabada for just the one dismissal in all T20s. Arshdeep Singh, however, has dismissed him once in three deliveries, so how Rohit fares against the left-arm angle will be key.
  • Ishan Kishan has a strike rate of just over 120 in the powerplay this season. He does have good numbers against Rabada (57 runs in 32 deliveries in T20s), so today could be the day he fires. MI need a quicker start from him.
  • Suryakumar Yadav has slotted in magnificently after injury. He has struck scores of 68* and 52 this season at a strike rate of 164.38. However, he has struggled against PBKS, with 159 runs in eight innings at an average of 19.88 and strike rate of 135.90. He does have the class to turn this around, though.
  • Kieron Pollard has been a shadow of his former self since his outstanding knock against CSK last season. But, he comes into this match with a magnificent record against PBKS: 22 inns, 529 runs, avg. 40.69, SR 164.80.
  • Pollard has scored an incredible 32 off nine deliveries vs Arshdeep Singh without dismissal. He also has scored 48 off 36 balls against Rabada in T20s, with two dismissals.
  • Jasprit Bumrah has dominated Mayank Agarwal in the IPL. The pacer has dismissed him three times in 14 deliveries whilst only conceding six runs. Also, Bumrah has taken an impressive 19 wickets in 14 matches vs PBKS (avg. 17.42, econ. 6.28).
  • Fabian Allen could be an important weapon for MI today, especially against Bairstow and Livingstone. Bairstow averages 20 and strikes at 114 vs left-arm orthodox, while Livingstone doesn’t fare much better with corresponding figures of 24/118.

Punjab Kings:

  • Shikhar Dhawan has strong numbers against Mumbai Indians. The left-hander has struck 801 runs in 26 innings at an average of 38.14 and strike rate of 126.14. Also, Dhawan has solid numbers against Bumrah: 77 balls faced, 95 runs scored, one dismissal.
  • As mentioned, Mayank Agarwal has a poor record against Bumrah. Also, he has struggled so far this season (scores of 32, 1, 4 and 5). However, if he can get past Bumrah and deal with Murugan Ashwin well (Agarwal has an average of 20 vs wristspin), he might find some form.
  • Liam Livingstone has been outstanding. He has smashed 60 (32) and 64 (27) in his past two matches. Also, he has scored 29 off 18 balls against Tymal Mills in T20s (one dismissal).
  • Jitesh Sharma has smashed five sixes in 28 deliveries so far in IPL 2022. Given MI’s worrying middle and death overs bowling, Sharma could be on for a few more lusty blows in this clash.
  • Kagiso Rabada takes a wicket every 22 deliveries on average vs MI. He could be used in overs 7-11 as he concedes around six per over in this phase, and this is a time where MI struggle to accelerate.
  • Rahul Chahar has been outstanding this season (seven wickets, avg. 14.42, econ. 6.31). Hasaranga, Kuldeep and Chahal have ripped through MI this season, so Chahar and Livingstone could be key in the middle as four of MI’s top six are right-handers.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 28, MI 15, PBKS 13.
  • Rohit has been dismissed 23 times by left-arm seam in the IPL at an average of 22 and strike rate of 133.6. Also, he has a 41.8% dot-ball percentage against this bowling type.
  • PBKS could look to use Rabada against Suryakumar. The pacer has dismissed Yadav twice in 32 deliveries in T20s, conceding just 42 in the process.
  • Shikhar Dhawan has scored two half-centuries in five T20s at Pune.
  • Mumbai Indians have lost just three wickets in the powerplay this season. However, they have the third-worst scoring rate in the league (8.24), compared to Punjab Kings who are second-best with 9.23.
  • Mumbai Indians’ pace attack is leaking 9.60 runs per over. Punjab Kings aren’t much better, just behind at 9.24.
  • Kieron Pollard strikes at 219 and averages 100.70 against Kings since IPL 2017. These are the best numbers among any player with at least 250 runs vs Punjab in this period.

Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium Pune Pitch Report and Weather

The average first innings score at Pune this season is 173, with both the team batting first and second winning two games each. Expect a good track for this game, with the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

CSK vs RCB Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 22

CSK vs RCB Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 22 | CSK vs BLR Dream11 Prediction Today | Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Key Players | DY Patil Pitch Report

If matches were played on form alone, this would be a no contest. Royal Challengers Bangalore have impressed as a unit, while Chennai Super Kings have no idea where their first win is coming from.

However, the IPL doesn’t work like that. CSK, who have struggled badly owing to three key reasons, have it in them to turn up and spring a bit of a surprise. To do that, they will have to be at the top of their game to topple an RCB side that is playing with flair and confidence.

In a recent interview with CricBlog, South Africa and Rajasthan Royals batsman Rassie van der Dussen picked RCB as a team to watch out for. And with good reason. Unlike previous years where an imbalanced team hurt their prospects dearly, RCB now have a team that is firing on pretty much all cylinders, with Wanindu Hasaranga and Dinesh Karthik delivering the goods, among others.

Today will be a test of focus and skill for RCB. CSK are struggling, but they remain the kind of team that can still hurt you on the day. However, Deepak Chahar’s absence remains an issue that Ravindra Jadeja’s team is unable to overcome, so they need more runs from their misfiring batting lineup, starting with Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Possible Playing 11

CSK could look to play Dwaine Pretorius and replace Mukesh Choudhary.

Chennai Super Kings: 1. Ruturaj Gaikwad, 2. Robin Uthappa, 3. Moeen Ali, 4. Ambati Rayudu, 5. Shivam Dube, 6. Ravindra Jadeja (c), 7. MS Dhoni (wk), 8. Dwayne Bravo, 9. Dwaine Pretorius/Maheesh Theekshana, 10. Chris Jordan, 11. Mukesh Choudhary/Tushar Deshpande

Unfortunately, Harshal Patel has left the RCB bubble due to the passing of his sister. RCB could look to bring in Siddarth Kaul in his place.

Also, there is the option of Josh Hazlewood in place of Willey. Hazlewood has been outstanding in T20s since the start of 2021.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: 1. Faf du Plessis (c), 2. Anuj Rawat, 3. Virat Kohli 4. Glenn Maxwell, 5. Dinesh Karthik (wk), 6. Shahbaz Ahmed, 7. David Willey/Josh Hazlewood, 8. Wanindu Hasaranga, 9. Siddarth Kaul, 10. Mohammed Siraj, 11. Akash Deep

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Chennai Super Kings:

  • CSK desperately need Ruturaj Gaikwad to come to the party. He strikes at 147 against Siraj without dismissal and 162 in 13 deliveries against Wanindu Hasaranga. However, how he fares against David Willey will be key as he has struggled against left-arm seam in the IPL: 79 balls faced, 99 runs, six dismissals.
  • Robin Uthappa (strike rate of 153.62 in IPL 2022) has enjoyed past success against RCB: 20 inns, 598 runs, avg. 35.18, SR 134.99. He has struck 38 runs off 28 deliveries against Mohammed Siraj in the IPL (one dismissal).
  • Seven of Wanindu Hasaranga’s eight wickets in IPL 2022 have been right-handers. So, Ravindra Jadeja could look to elevate himself up the order to negate Hasaranga’s threat. Also, Jadeja took RCB apart last season, with one of the all-time great all-round performances (62* off 28 balls and 3/13).
  • Moeen Ali will be key in helping CSK get their first win of the season. He is coming off a hard-fought 48 off 35 balls against SRH, and CSK will be hoping he has a big innings in him today.
  • Given RCB have plenty of right-handers in their lineup, Moeen may not bowl (as was the case last season). However, he could be tried against left-hander Anuj Rawat and then Virat Kohli, who strikes at just 110 vs off-spin in the IPL.
  • Dwayne Bravo has taken 16 wickets in 16 matches vs RCB (avg. 23.19, econ. 7.76), and is currently CSK’s leading wicket-taker this season (6). He has a good record vs Faf du Plessis in T20s: 33 balls bowled, 39 runs conceded, two dismissals.
  • Chris Jordan and Maheesh Theekshana to be key against Maxwell? Theekshana dismissed Maxwell twice in 17 deliveries (27 runs) in Sri Lanka’s recent tour of Australia. Jordan has dismissed Maxwell four times in 48 deliveries in T20s.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: CSK 18, RCB 9.
  • Ambati Rayudu’s 704 runs vs RCB is the most he has against any IPL team. He averages 33.52 with a strike rate of 122.43 against them.
  • Like Jordan and Theekshana, Dwayne Bravo also has had some success against Maxwell. Bravo has dismissed him four times in 36 deliveries in T20s, but Maxwell has struck 60 runs.
  • Siraj does not have good head-to-head stats against CSK’s key players. Ruturaj strikes at 147 against him, Rayudu at 157 and Dhoni up higher at 182.
  • MS Dhoni vs CSK: 26 inns, 748 runs, avg. 41.56, SR 145.53.
  • Anuj Rawat is coming off a player of the match performance vs MI (66 off 47 balls).

DY Patil Sports Academy Pitch Report and Weather

The average first innings score on this ground is 165.71 in IPL 2022. The chasing team has won five of the seven matches.

Expect the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

World class Indian core key for Royals: Rassie van der Dussen

Cricket News: World class Indian core key for Royals: Rassie van der Dussen | Rassie van der Dussen says the local players key to Royals’ title bid

April 10’s thrilling match between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants was an exhibition in T20 tactics. The best teams are able to adjust to different situations as quickly as possible, and it was on show in a contest that went down to the wire.

The result was another victory for the Royals – their third in IPL 2022 – and all have come when defending a total. No other team has achieved that feat twice as at April 10 this season. The key to that has been not only the excellent performances of overseas stars Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer and Trent Boult, but also important contributions from the Indian core.

Yuzvendra Chahal weaved his magic to rip through the Lucknow lineup, while R Ashwin ‘retired out’ and then conceded just 20 in his four overs in more signs of his desire to innovate in the format. Both have added a lot to the Royals this season, making them title contenders in the eyes of many fans and pundits.

Rassie van der Dussen, who debuted in the Lucknow match, spoke of the Royals’ strong Indian core in an exclusive interview with CricBlog. Talking about the key to unlocking the Royals’ potential in their quest to win their first title since 2008, the South African batsman pointed to the local players forming a strong squad.

“One thing that really stands out in our squad this year is the world class local players that we have,” he said. “Obviously you have Ashwin and Chahal with their spin in the middle, you we’ve got Krishna and Saini with the seam, and then we’ve got Jaiswal and Padikkal in the batting department. And then Riyan Parag in the middle there can clear the boundary at will.

“The Indian core already forms the basis of a very strong squad.”

Also, such is Chahal and Ashwin’s influence that van der Dussen was most looking to playing and training with the spin twins. Asked about whom he was most looking to joining at the Royals, the Protea said, “definitely the two spinners. When I faced them recently in South Africa, it was really challenging. I thought ‘at least I don’t have to go out and face them in the middle again’.

Cricket News: World class Indian core key for Royals: Rassie van der Dussen | Rassie van der Dussen says the local players key to Royals' title bid
Strong Indian core key for the Royals – van der Dussen.

Overseas talent combined with Indian core makes Royals a strong team – van der Dussen

The Royals’ overseas players have also been terrific. While Chahal holds the Purple Cap, his teammate Jos Buttler holds the Orange with a century already to his name in IPL 2022. Shimron Hetmyer is striking at 178.72 in four matches, which includes a crucial knock against LSG. Trent Boult has been superb in the powerplay in particular, with his delivery to KL Rahul surely etched in the minds of millions.

van der Dussen is thrilled to be part of such a talented core, and he believes it will hold the Royals in great stead.

“Then you throw in guys like Buttler, Hetmyer, Boult, Neesham, myself [maybe, laughs], then you have a team almost consisting of 11 matchwinners,” he said. “Then you’re giving yourself a chance in every match for two or three guys to come off and having the potential in T20 match to win the game by themselves.”

As at April 10, the Royals sit top of the IPL 2022 table with three wins from four matches, including two from difficult positions against Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants. Their next game is against fellow high-flyers Gujarat Titans on Thursday April 14.

SRH vs GT Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 21

SRH vs GT Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 21 | SRH vs GT Dream11 Prediction Today | Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans Key Players | DY Patil Pitch Report

Life is looking that little bit rosier for Sunrisers Hyderabad after a clinical, important victory against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Saturday. The talented Abhishek Sharma announced himself with an excellent innings at the top, with Washington Sundar and T Natarajan continuing their good form with the ball.

Even better, they have the chance to follow up on that performance two days later. However, it will be a tougher test today against the unbeaten Gujarat Titans, who have one of SRH’s favourite sons, Rashid Khan. And, of course, they are never down and out, as Rahul Tewatia’s latest miracle against Punjab Kings showed us.

Shubman Gill has been outstanding with the bat for Gujarat, but SRH could see the rest of the batting lineup, which is still finding its best form, as an opportunity to pounce. However, how well SRH cope with Gujarat’s firing bowling attack will make for interesting viewing – especially how they handle the bowlers outside of the Rashid-Shami-Ferguson trio.

Possible Playing 11

Umran Malik has been bowling quickly, but inconsistently. There is a chance leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal could come into the XI.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. Abhishek Sharma, 2. Kane Williamson (c), 3. Rahul Tripathi, 4. Nicholas Pooran (wk), 5. Aiden Markram, 6. Washington Sundar, 7. Abdul Samad, 8. Marco Jansen, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Umran Malik/Shreyas Gopal, 11. T Natarajan

Gujarat Titans are settled. One change they could make is to bring Rahmanullah Gurbaz in for Matthew Wade.

Gujarat Titans: 1. Shubman Gill, 2. Matthew Wade/Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 3. Sai Sudharsan, 4. Abhinav Manohar, 5. Hardik Pandya (c), 6. David Miller, 7. Rahul Tewatia, 8. Rashid Khan, 9. Darshan Nalkande, 10. Lockie Ferguson, 11. Mohammed Shami

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

  • Abhishek Sharma produced his finest knock in his last match vs CSK. His 50-ball 75 included five fours and three sixes. Can he back it up today against GT’s strong attack?
  • Kane Williamson’s form is a worry for SRH. The captain struggled against CSK, making a 40-ball 32, and is striking at 79.36 in 63 deliveries in IPL 2022.
  • He has the class to bounce back, but he doesn’t have the best of records against GT’s key bowlers. Shami has dismissed Williamson three times in the IPL (avg. 9.67). Also, he has been dismissed once against Rashid (avg. 11) and once against Ferguson (avg. 11).
  • There is the temptation to bat Rahul Tripathi at opener. However, SRH may look to bring him at three again as he has a solid record vs Rashid Khan (31 runs off 22 balls in the IPL, SR 140.9, one dismissal). He smashed 39* off 15 balls two days ago vs CSK.
  • Expect Washington Sundar to play a key role against GT’s top order that will contain at least one left-hander in the top three. However, Sundar was also excellent against the right-handers against CSK, dismissing both Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu. He has taken four wickets in his last two matches, both at DY Patil.
  • T Natarajan has taken two wickets in each match so far in IPL 2022. Importantly, he has got the ball swinging in the powerplay. Shubman Gill has a fine record vs left-arm seam in the IPL (301 runs, avg. 50.2, SR 130.3), so can Natarajan overcome this if he gets the chance?

Gujarat Titans:

  • Shubman Gill is producing the kind of performances his talent is worthy of. He has scored the third-most runs in IPL 2022 (180) at a superb average of 60 and strike rate of 166.66.
  • Sai Sudharsan made a promising start to life in the IPL (35 off 30 balls) as he combined with Gill for a 101-run partnership against Punjab Kings. He struck four fours and one six. Limiting the dot balls will be key today, especially if he comes up against Sundar.
  • Hardik Pandya has made three starts in IPL 2022 (33, 31 and 27) at an overall strike rate of 124.65. It feels like the GT captain is not far away from his best form. He is one away from 100 sixes in the IPL.
  • Mohammed Shami would relish the opportunity to bowl at Kane Williamson and Rahul Tripathi. Shami, who already has six wickets in three games this season, has dismissed Tripathi twice in seven matches at an average of just 10 and batting strike rate of 91. He has an even better T20 record vs Williamson, with four wickets in 39 deliveries (51 runs conceded).
  • Rashid Khan comes up against his former franchise. He is coming off 3/22 vs Punjab, part of five wickets this season at an economy rate of just 6.58.
  • Expect Rashid to be used against SRH’s middle order. He has a particularly good record against Nicholas Pooran, with two dismissals in 37 deliveries in T20s for just the 21 runs.
  • Lockie Ferguson has largely been efficient in the death period since the start of IPL 2021. In this timeframe, Ferguson has taken five wickets in 72 deliveries between overs 16-20 at an economy rate of around just 8.60 per over.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Mohammed Shami has never bowled to Aiden Markram in white-ball cricket, but he has had success against him in Test cricket. Shami has dismissed Markram five times for just 65 runs in 108 deliveries.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar vs Shubman Gill will be a key battle. Gill has scored just 31 runs off 33 deliveries with one dismissal. David Miller, on the other hand, has a good record against Bhuvneshwar in T20s: 31 deliveries faced, 53 runs scored, one dismissal.
  • Matthew Wade prefers to bat first in T20s. He averages 36.27 with a strike rate of 148.69 in 80 matches batting first compared to 17.20/115.62 in 96 matches batting second.
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad are scoring at just 5.1 runs per over in the powerplay. Gujarat Titans have taken nine wickets in three matches in this period.

DY Patil Sports Academy Pitch Report and Weather

DY Patil is not a particularly high-scoring ground so far in IPL 2022, with an average first innings score of 166.33. The chasing team has won four of the six matches so far this season. The SRH-CSK game did show signs of a slowish wicket.

Another clear evening is forecast with dew likely to appear. Expect the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

KKR vs DC Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2022 Match 19 | KOL vs DC Dream11 Prediction Today | Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals Key Players | Brabourne Pitch Report

One of these teams sit pretty at the top of the IPL 2022 table. The other would be keen to get going.

Kolkata Knight Riders, courtesy of some wonderful powerplay bowling and unbelievable late hitting, have enjoyed a near-perfect start to their campaign. The resurgent Umesh Yadav has led the attack well since his very first over of ths season, while the spinners have kept things pretty tight. However, one area of improvement for KKR is their top order batting, as they have found themselves in some trouble in their past three games, with Andre Russell and Pat Cummins getting them home thanks to some of the best hitting you’ll see.

They have the chance to improve today against a Delhi Capitals side still trying to find its best form. Last game, they struggled to 149/3 as no player other than Prithvi Shaw found any rhythm. More will be expected of David Warner today, who started his IPL 2022 campaign as if he was terrified to get out, as well as Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell. In terms of the bowling, they will look at KKR’s indifferent batting as an opportunity, but they must finish well at the death.

Possible Playing 11

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Venkatesh Iyer, 2. Ajinkya Rahane, 3. Shreyas Iyer (c), 4. Nitish Rana, 5. Sam Billings (wk), 6. Andre Russell, 7. Pat Cummins, 8. Sunil Narine, 9. Umesh Yadav, 10. Varun Chakravarthy, 11. Rasikh Salam

Delhi Capitals: 1. David Warner, 2. Prithvi Shaw, 3. Sarfaraz Khan, 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Rovman Powell, 6. Lalit Yadav, 7. Axar Patel, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Kuldeep Yadav, 10. Anrich Nortje, 11. Mustafizur Rahman

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Kolkata Knight Riders:

  • Venkatesh Iyer is coming off a half-century to get his season going. The left-hander has a half-century in two matches against DC.
  • Shreyas Iyer will come up against his former team today, so the motivation to perform will be there. He has struck four double-figure scores this season without crossing 26. He will be aiming to produce the kind of performances we saw against West Indies and Sri Lanka earlier this year.
  • Andre Russell has shown some of his best form in IPL 2022 (SR 196.29). He has been superb against Delhi since 2015, scoring 272 runs at an average of 38.86 and magnificent strike rate of 190.21.
  • Also, Russell strikes at around 190 vs pace in the IPL. He is outstanding against full deliveries, so expect the DC bowlers to pitch short to him.
  • Pat Cummins was simply brilliant with the bat last game vs MI (56* off 15 balls). He has taken six wickets in three matches vs DC since the start of 2020, including Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant once.
  • KKR could look to use Cummins between overs 12 and 16. He averages 16.4 with an economy rate of 7.7 in this period.
  • How will Umesh Yadav, the leading wicket-taker this season (9), fare in KKR’s first day game of the season? He has been superb under lights in the powerplay overs this season. He has dismissed Prithvi Shaw once in five deliveries (four runs) and Warner thrice in 51 deliveries (83 runs).
  • Varun Chakravarthy took 5/20 two years ago vs DC in a day game in the UAE.

Delhi Capitals:

  • Prithvi Shaw is coming off an excellent 34-ball 61 against LSG, and he has a great record against KKR: 6 inns, 341 runs, avg. 56.83, SR 170.50. Also, he averages nearly 70 against off-spin in the IPL, so he has what it takes to play Narine and Chakravarthy should he get through the initial overs.
  • David Warner has excellent career numbers against KKR: 24 inns, 915 runs, avg. 43.57, SR 145.70. He has smashed 190 runs off 123 deliveries against Sunil Narine in T20s, for just the two dismissals.
  • Rishabh Pant averages just 22.83 in 12 innings vs KKR. Pat Cummins has dismissed Pant once in 12 deliveries in the IPL and Chakravarthy has dismissed him once in 14 balls. Can Pant overcome these two?
  • Anrich Nortje has taken eight wickets in four matches against KKR. He is terrific in all stages of an innings in the IPL, with particular success between overs 12-16 (avg. 16.8, econ. 8) and the death (avg. 14.3, econ. 8.3).
  • How will Kuldeep Yadav fare against his former franchise? He has been superb this season, with six wickets in three matches at an economy rate of 6.94. Rahane (115), Shreyas (121) and Rana (123) have lowish strike rates against wristspin in the IPL.
  • Mustafizur Rahman is conceding just 6.12 runs per over so far this season (three wickets in two matches). He concedes around eight an over in the death overs in the IPL with an average around 12.
