IPL 2021 Match 26: PBKS vs RCB Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | PBKS vs RCB  Dream11 Prediction Today | Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Punjab Kings | Key Players | Ahemdabad Pitch Report

It’s time for Kohli vs Kumble! Royal Challengers Bangalore will rub shoulders with Punjab Kings for the 26th match of the IPL 2021.

After a one-sided affair against CSK, normalcy resumed for RCB fans. They witnessed another humdinger as their last match against Capitals went down to the wire, and RCB managed to win it by 1 run.

RCB were asked to bat first and they lost their Skipper early, and young Padikkal soon followed him. After that Maxwell combined with Patidar to give some momentum to RCB innings and then Mr. 360 came and blew Capitals away with an absolute masterclass off 75 runs from 42 balls. The brilliant ABD took RCB to 171 in their full quota of 20 overs.

Defending a total of 171 runs, RCB bowlers started with pinpoint accuracy and picked the crucial wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Steven Smith early. From there on, contributions from Pant, Stonis, and Hetmyer took Delhi close but could not finish off in the end. It was the death bowling of Mohammed Sirah that was most impressive, holding his nerve to seal victory for RCB.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have lost 4 of their 6 matches and their think-tank has plenty to do in their next two matches or it might be too late for them. In their previous match, none of the batters got going and they could just manage 123 runs for 9 in their 20 overs.

The only thing that will give them confidence into the next match is that four of their players (KL, Mayank, Universe Boss and Moises) have played for RCB in past and have a good record against them.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • Virat Kohli –  Super V has a total of 681 runs from 25 innings at an average of 29.6 vs PBKS. However, he has done much better as an opener. While batting first as an opener, he has 233 runs from 6 innings, at an average of 38.8. In 2nd innings as an opener, he has 134 runs at an average of 67 from 3 innings.
  • Devdutt Padikkal – Padikkal has 19 runs from 2 innings at an average of 9.5 vs PBKS. However, he has been in solid touch right throughout the domestic season.
  • Glenn Maxwell – Big Show is enjoying his time in RCB so far, and he will be up against his previous side. In past, he has just batted twice against Kings and made 12 runs. However, this record doesn’t define a player of Maxwell’s stature. He will be a good pick for this match and a good option to have as C/VC in Grand Leagues.
  • AB de Villiers – Mr.360 has 710 runs from 21 innings at an average of 47.3 vs PBKS. The same average goes up to 57.1 while batting first. Plus, he is in superb form in IPL 2021, and he played a match-winning knock last game vs DC.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal – Yuzi has not been at his very best so far but it’s just a matter of time till he gets it right, Against Kings he has done well in past. From 14 innings, he has 22 wickets at an average of 17.3.
  • Mohammed Siraj – Siraj has 2 wickets from 3 innings against Kings. Will Siraj 2.0 show his Miya Magic against Kings? He has been in superb form in recent times.
  • Harshal Patel has 6 wickets from 5 innings against PBKS. He has the most wickets in IPL 2021 with 17 in six matches.
  • Rajat Patidar’s innings (31 off 22 balls) would have given him plenty of confidence, and he will look to put another good show in coming games.

Punjab Kings

  • KL Rahul – KL Struck a century against RCB last year. He was part of RCB camp earlier. Against them he averages 580 runs from 64.4 from 12 innings.
  • Mayank Agarwal – Like his counterpart, Mayank was also part of RCB. He has 202 runs from 9 innings at an average of 22.4. His average goes down to 15.2 while batting second, so he will be after an improvement.
  • Chris Gayle – Universe Boss scored a golden duck in the previous match. Against RCB, he has 267 runs from 6 innings at an average of 53.4.  While batting first his average goes upwards to 63.7.
  • Moises Henriques – Moises has 3 wickets and 163 runs from 5 innings vs RCB at an average of 40.8. He is one of the most underrated all-rounder going around and his ability with both bat & ball cannot be ignored. He will be a good addition to Grand League Team.
  • Nicholas Pooran – Pooran has 69 runs from 3 innings at an average of 34.5. He is still yet to find his best form this season.
  • Mohammad Shami – Shami has 9 wickets from 8 innings against RCB.
  • Ravi Bishnoi – Bishnoi has 3 wickets from 2 innings against RCB.

  • Deepak Hooda has just 40 runs from 7 innings against RCB.
  • Daniel Sams– Sams is a quality bowler as he was seen in the recent past in Big Bash. On his day he can outshine anyone, but for some reason he has not got his mojo right in the IPL so far. He has bowled in 4 innings so far in the IPL and he is yet to pick a wicket.

Predicted Playing XI

Washington Sundar has 2 wickets from 4 innings against the Kings. His battle against left-handers Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran could be key.

Ahemdabad Pitch Report

Kevin Pietersen pitch report from DC and KKR match

This looks fairly similar to the surfaces that we have seen here so far. But there’s one point of difference that we will see this evening. There’s grass up to the danger zone and the reason for that is, the groundsmen want to protect the surface. He wants to make sure the bowlers are comfortable whenever they are delivering the ball. One side boundary is just 58 meters. There was the dew factor in game one, and then we had a sandstorm and no dew in the other. So what are the captains going to back? The dew or the sandstorm? We will wait and see!

RCB is flying high. Punjab Kings have done slightly better against RCB but in the current scenario, they have to pull something out of the box to beat them. RCB is the favorite to win.

IPL 2021 Match 25: DC vs KKR Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | DC vs KOL Dream11 Prediction Today | Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders | Key Players | Ahemdabad Pitch Report

Kolkata Knight Riders will go head-to-head in a crucial match against Delhi Capitals in the 25th match of IPL 2021.

After losing their previous 4 matches, KKR started their Ahemdabad leg with an important win against Punjab Kings. After winning the toss, Morgan invited Kings to bat first and the star-studded batting lineup of Punjab could not do much damage as KKR bowlers stood in their way. They ended their innings with 123-9 from their 20 overs. Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine were excellent with the ball and picked 2 wickets each, while Prasidh Krishna registered a 3 wicket haul.

While chasing, Knight Riders did not get to the best of starts, as has often been the case. They lost 3 wickets in quick succession. However, after that Eoin Morgan came and counter-punched as he often does; KKR also had a bit of luck going in 2nd innings as their side as there was huge on the ground which made things difficult for the bowlers. Eoin Morgan (47 off 40 balls) was adjudged Man of the match, and Rahul Tripathi also played his role quite well in his 41 off 32 balls.

Delhi Capitals also didn’t start well in their chase against RCB as their in-form openers fell cheaply. After that Rishabh Pant (58 off 48 balls) came and stabilized their innings, but struggled to really get going. Stoinis gave them a bit of momentum before Hetmyer came in and nearly matched ABD shot for shot in his 53 off 25 balls. However, DC could not finish the match as Siraj 2.0 held his nerve in the 20th over.

Delhi Boys will be extremely proud of the brand of cricket they played, and another juicy contest will be on the cards when they face Knight Riders.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

  • Shikhar Dhawan –  Dhawan has 688 runs from 25 innings from 28.7 vs KKR, and missed out twice against them last season (6 and 26). He has a slightly better record while batting second. Also, Dhawan currently has the second-most runs in IPL 2021 (6 inns, 265 runs, avg. 44.16, SR 140.21).
  • Prithvi Shaw –  Shaw has 241 runs from 4 innings at an average of 60.2 vs KKR. He scored 66 off 41 balls against them last season on the small outfield of Sharjah.
  • Rishabh Pant –  Pant has 212 runs from 9 innings at an average of 23.6 vs KKR.  Overall he has done relatively while batting second. So far in IPL 2021, he has struggled to find his best rhythm, but is still in the runs (183 runs, avg. 45.75, SR 127.97).
  • Steve Smith –  Smith has 223 runs from 11 innings at an average of 27.9 vs KKR. His numbers are quite contradictory batting first and second. While batting first he averages 63.7 from 6 innings and in his 2nd innings, he just has 32 runs at an average of 6.4.  If DC Bats first, he can be considered for the Captaincy role in one of the risky Grand League teams.
  • Marcus Stonis – Stoinis has 4 wickets and 61 runs from 6 innings at an average of 15.9 vs KKR.
  • Axar Patel – Patel has 8 wickets from 13 innings. Out of 8 wickets, 6 have come bowling second.
  • Kagiso Rabada– Rabada has been silent so far this IPL, but it’s just a matter of time before he comes with his natural force and energy. In opposition to KKR, he has 8 wickets. He can be paired with Steven Smith as C/VC in one of your risky GL Teams.
  • Tom Curran and Chris Woakes have been part of the KKR setup in past. Most likely they won’t be playing this match but watch out for them in Grand Leagues if Capitals has a surprise for us.
  • Ishant Sharma bowled a beauty of a delivery to dismiss Devdutt in his previous match. He started his IPL career with KKR but has not done much against them. He has 1 wicket from 5 innings.

Kolkata Knight Riders

  • Shubman Gill – Gill is looking up to the mark in the shots, but he is not able to keep his innings flowing. He has 149 runs from 6 innings against DC. He has an identical record in both innings. Can he finally make a big score?
  • Nitish Rana – Rana will be up against his city-based Franchise. He has 226 runs from 7 innings at an average of 31.4.  Like Gill, he also holds an identical record in both innings.
  • Eoin Morgan– Morgan has 161 runs in opposition to DC from 10 innings at an average of 22.4. Can he build on his performance from the last match?
  • Dinesh Karthik –  Karthik has been part of Capitals structure in the past. While playing against them, he has 439 runs from 16 innings at an average of 23.35.
  • Andre Russell – Before joining KKR, Russell was part of the DC setup. In opposition to them, he has 227 runs from 7 innings at an average of 33.4 (SR 195) along with 13 wickets out of which 9 have come bowling second.
  • Pat Cummins– Cummins has also played for DC. He has played against them twice and managed 3 wickets.
  • Prasidh Krishna –  Krishna has a wicket from 3 innings against DC. However, he is constantly improving and is currently KKR’s leading wicket-taker in IPL 2021 with eight.
  • Shivam Mavi – Mavi has two wickets from his 3 games against KKR.

  • Overall Record 26 | DC won 14 | KKR Won 12.

Ahemdabad Pitch Report

This is Kevin Pietersen with his pitch analysis for RCB vs DC match.

Last night it (the pitch) started slow. Later in the game, the dew factor is an issue. I think it will play a big role in what happens at the toss. The winning captain is probably going to say we will bowl.

Ahemdabad has both black soil and red soil deck. Fantasy nuts need to check the pitch report before the toss to check which deck is being used.

IPL 2021 Match 24: MI vs RR Preview Dream11 Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | MI vs RR Dream11 Prediction Today | Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals Key Players | Delhi Pitch Report

After ending their Chepauk-Wankhede quotas, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals have reached their next station and now will go head-to-head for the 24th match of IPL 2021.

From playing in fast-paced wickets of Wankhede to the slow Chepauk pitches, we saw an immediate bearing on the performance of Mumbai Indians as they failed to adapt quickly. As a result, suffered their third loss in their five games last time out against Punjab Kings.

In their previous match against Kings, they could only manage 131 from their 20 overs. Rohit Sharma was the highest scorer with 63 runs off 52 balls. Surya Kumar Yadav was their second-highest scorer with 33 off 27 balls.

While defending a modest score, MI bowlers could not pull off the magic they are well known for, as only one wicket fell in Punjab Kings innings, which was taken by Rahul Chahar. The defending champions believe that a venue change will also bring a change in fortune for them, and they will be hoping that this turns out to be the case in a crucial game.

On the flip side, the Royals were a happy dugout in there and why wouldn’t they be they were able to rise from the bottom of the table in the last game. Courtesy of Morris Magic, Royals were able to restrict Knight Riders for 133-9, which is considered a below-par total at Wankhede.

While chasing the innings, young Yashisvi looked fine in his first game of the season. Also, encouragingly, Captain Samson showed composure for a change by not throwing his wicket away. He was Royals’ highest run-getter with 42 off 41 balls. Of late, Royals have got the better of the defending champions and, they would be hopeful for a similar show to get their second win on the trot!

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers | 5 potential mid-season transfers we could see in the IPL 2021 Loan Window

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) continues to go ahead in difficult circumstances in India. All the teams have played a minimum of 5 games and the competition for the play-offs spots is already looking fierce.

In between all this, the “mid-season transfer” or “the loan window” for this season has started from 26th April 9 pm onwards and it will be open till the 23rd of May 2021. During this window, franchises can loan players from other franchises to play for their side for the rest of the season.

Players who have played less than two games for their respective teams are eligible for mid-season transfer. They cannot play against the team they’ve been loaned from.

There are many good players who are eligible for the mid-season transfer and there are franchises that need some good players due to injury or players leaving the tournament due to personal reasons, Rajasthan Royals being the perfect example.

Rajasthan Royals are the most affected side of players being injured or leaving due to personal reasons. Jofra Archer was ruled out just before the IPL started, Ben Stokes got injured in the first game and was out. Andrew Tye and Liam Livingstone left the team due to personal reasons.

As a result RR is left with only four overseas players in their squad and will surely look to loan in some players for this season.

Here we’ll discuss the potential mid-season transfer deals for IPL 2021:

Ben Cutting to Rajasthan Royals

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers | 5 potential mid-season transfers we could see in the IPL 2021 Loan Window
IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers – Ben Cutting could be a good buy.

Ben Cutting is in KKR and hasn’t played a game till now. He can prove to be a very good asset for Rajasthan considering their need for a good all-rounder, especially after Ben Stokes got injured. Cutting can open for them or can play in the lower-middle order as a finisher, which he’s known for. He can give them 3-4 overs too with the ball in hand.

Having someone like him in the batting order will take the pressure off from Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler and both of them can play their natural game. Struggling middle-order is a big concern for RR and Cutting can solve that for them.

Jason Roy to Rajasthan Royals

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers | 5 potential mid-season transfers we could see in the IPL 2021 Loan Window
IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers – Jason Roy to RR?

Rajasthan Royals are struggling to find a good opening pair. Jos Buttler is going through a bad phase as a batter while they tried Manan Vohra for four games and he too didn’t perform as expected. Yashasvi Jaiswal showed some promise in the last game but Buttler’s form is a big issue for them.

To fix this, they can loan Jason Roy from Sunrisers Hyderabad. Roy is yet to play a game for SRH and be the perfect pick for the Royals. With Roy opening, they can move Buttler down to 4 which will strengthen their middle-order too. Roy is known for his aggressive batting and he can be the one to turn RR’s fortune this season.

Lockie Ferguson to Rajasthan Royals

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers – Lockie Ferguson would be a good pick up.

Jofra Archer being ruled out was a body blow for Rajasthan. He and Morris could’ve been a nightmare for the other teams. Mustafizur has done a good job for them till now but they can look to bring in Lockie Ferguson from the Kolkata Knight Riders. Lockie can bowl over 140kph+  constantly and can strengthen their bowling attack. He can be the perfect replacement for Jofra Archer and can wreak havoc alongside Chris Morris for the Royals.

Sam Billings to Punjab Kings

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers – Billings can be a good pickup for the Kings.

Punjab Kings are struggling to perform consistently this season. Their batting order is over-dependent on the top 3 of KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, and Chris Gayle. They can add someone like Sam Billings to their squad who can give stability to their batting order. Billings has been in terrific form over the past year and can be the perfect fix for the fragile batting order batting at number 4.

Billings is an excellent player of spin bowling and having someone like him will allow KL Rahul to play freely and give them a good start early in the innings.

Mohammad Nabi to Mumbai Indians

IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers | 5 potential mid-season transfers we could see in the IPL 2021 Loan Window
IPL 2021 Loan Window: 5 Potential Mid-Season Transfers – Nabi could be a decent pickup for MI

Mumbai Indians are really struggling at the moment. The form of their spin bowling all-rounder Krunal Pandya is a big concern for them considering the venue of their upcoming games. Krunal was not performing with either bat or the ball. He never looked like threatening the batters on the slow chepauk track,

Mumbai can bring in Mohammad Nabi from SRH. Nabi has played only one game for the orange army and with Kane Williamson now fit, his chances of getting a game are very slim. Mumbai on the other hand needs a good spin-bowling all-rounder who can assist Rahul Chahar better and give some runs with the bat. Nabi fits in this role perfectly. Mumbai played with only 3 overseas players in their last two games and is expected to not make any changes as the Delhi pitch will be the same. Nabi can hit the ball big and is an experienced campaigner with the ball. He can be the missing piece for the defending champions on these slow tracks.

These were Cricblog’s potential mid-season transfers. Do let us know your thoughts on this.

IPL 2021 Match 23: CSK vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | CSK vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Today | Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad | Key Players | Delhi Pitch Report

It’s time for the Southern Derby, but this time around the contest will be played North. Two sides with contrasting fortunes so far, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, will engage for the 23rd Match of IPL 2021.

Chennai Super Kings are flying high after winning their previous four matches. The best part about them is that all their players have contributed well so far, and last time out against RCB it was Rockstar Jadeja. To give you a context of the damage Sir Jadeja did, he got 226 Fantasy Points (3 wickets + 61 runs with the bat). Raise a Toast, if you have Captained him in the previous match and don’t be disappointed if you have not; he will give you another opportunity here. We all call him Sir Jadeja for a reason.

In their batting department, Faf du Plessis (50 off 41), now has back-to-back fifties and, he was the second-highest run-getter in the previous match after Sir Jadeja. With contributions from everyone, Chennai made a total of 191/4, and later on defended it with good overall bowling display.

Kane Williamson’s sole effort (66 off 51 balls) fought for Sunrisers Hyderabad and got them to the Super Over. However, his fate against Super Overs continues to be scratchy. SRH has just 1 win from 5 matches and the next 3 matches in Delhi will decide their destiny. One positive before going into the next match will be that they have put their best forward in the previous two matches.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Chennai Super Kings

  • Faf du Plessis – After scoring back-to-back fifties, it will be interesting to see how he shapes up against SRH. In past, he has not had much success against SRH. At an average of 23.8, he has 238 runs from 11 innings.
  • Ruturaj Gaikwad– Gaikwad looked good in his last two innings (64 and 33) after a quiet start to the tournament. He has not played against SRH so far.
  • Suresh Raina – Raina has 434 runs from 17 innings against SRH at an average of 28.9. SRH’s lack of genuine pace in their attack will suit Raina.
  • Moeen Ali– Moeen did not play the previous match. If he is fit for this one, CSK will look even better. He has a wicket and 77 runs from 4 innings against SRH.
  • Ravindra Jadeja – Sir Jadeja has 4 wickets and 194 runs from 13 innings at 27.7.  Needless to say, after this last match, he will be might confident and will look to improve his numbers on the back of that.
  • Imran Tahir has 6 wickets from 5 innings vs SRH. He was part of the DC setup before joining CSK so he has a good experience of playing at this venue.
  • Sam Curran – Sam has a wicket and 51 runs against SRH.
  • Dwayne Bravo– Bravo has 85 runs from 7 innings at an average of 14.2. However, his strength vs SRH is bowling; he has 19 wickets against them, and could be in the wickets against SRH’s shaky middle order.
  • Deepak Chahar has 9 wickets from 8 innings vs SRH. His battle against SRH’s top order will be crucial.
  • Shardul Thakur has 5 wickets from 5 innings vs SRH.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • David Warner – Warner has 482 runs from 16 innings at an average of 30.1 against CSK. Warner has played at this venue since he started his IPL career with DC. SRH will be hoping for a big innings from Warner today.
  • Jonny Bairstow-  Jonny has 84 runs from 4 innings against an average of 28. Altogether he has been hot and cold against CSK; Out of 4 innings, he has 2 ducks. However, he has been in excellent touch in IPL 2021 (5 inns, 211 runs, avg. 52.75, SR 141.61).
  • Kane Williamson– Big Kane was at his absolute best against DC. He has a good record against CSK as well. He averages 43 with 301 runs from 8 innings. Crucial player.
  • Vijay Shankar – Vijay has 135 runs from 5 innings vs CSK at an average of 45 with 2 wickets. He has played a lot at this venue as he was part of DC earlier in his IPL career.
  • Rashid Khan– Rashid has 6 wickets from 8 innings against CSK. The Deck at Arun Jaitley Stadium suits spinners, so he will surely look to improve the numbers.
  • Kedar Jadhav has 84 runs from 6 innings against CSK. CSK parted ways from him after a disastrous last season, so this is Jadhav’s chance to show his worth. He has also played a lot at this venue as he was part of the DC set up earlier.
  • Khaleel Ahmed has 3 wickets from 4 innings against CSK.
  • Siddarth Kaul – Kaul has just 2 wickets from 5 innings against CSK.

Predicted Playing XI

Moeen Ali was rested for CSK’s game vs RCB due to a tight hamstring. According to reports, he could return in this game.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. David Warner (c), 2. Jonny Bairstow (wk), 3. Kane Williamson, 4. Virat Singh/Manish Pandey, 5. Vijay Shankar, 6. Abhishek Sharma, 7. Kedar Jadhav, 8. Rashid Khan, 9. Jagadeesha Suchith, 10. Khaleel Ahmed, 11. Siddarth Kaul

Arun Jaitley Stadium Delhi Pitch Report

This is Graeme Swann Pitch Report from the last IPL match played between DC and RR in 2019.

‘There isn’t a blade of grass, absolutely bone dry. It’s quite hard, but there shouldn’t be a lot of bounce. Bowl straight lines, it should turn, it’s very hot and a score around 160 should be competitive. A bat-first wicket’.

Some of the recent domestic matches played at Arun Jaitley Stadium saw decent scores so Fantasy Nuts need to be all ears when the pitch report is out before toss.

IPL 2021 Match 22: DC vs RCB Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | DC vs BLR Dream11 Prediction Today | Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Key Players | Ahmedabad Pitch Report

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals move to Ahemdabad for their next four matches. They will lock horns for the 22nd match of IPL 2021, in what promises to be a cracking match between two contenders.

After winning their first four games on the trot, RCB were well behind the pace against CSK. They were good in their bowling department until Sir Jadeja went berserk in to score 37 runs in the 20th over to give the perfect finish to CSK innings.

While chasing, RCB did not get the best of the start, and lost their openers within the powerplay overs. And then Sir Jadeja show started and he single-handedly ruined RCB’s chances by getting the crucial wickets of de Villiers and Maxwell. After that RCB collapsed like a pack of cards and lost the match by 69 runs. It is now crucial that they bounce back.

Delhi Capitals’ last match went on to Super Over in which they bot the better off SRH. While batting first they managed a total of 159 runs. There was the contribution from all the batters, and among them, Prithvi Shaw was the highest scorer with 53 off 29 balls.

He was adjudged Man of the Match for his performance. Avesh Khan shined again the ball and got wickets at the crucial interval.

Both the teams are coming after playing a good brand of Cricket and we wait to see another thriller. Ravi Ashwin, Adam Zampa, and Kane Richardson have opted out of the remaining IPL 2021, after Andrew Tye decided to leave for home over the weekend.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • Virat Kohli – Super V will be up against his City-based Franchise. When IPL started way back in 2008, Delhi had the option to pick between Virat Kohli and pace bowler, Pradeep Sangwan. They chose the pace bowler over the King, and the rest is history.
  • Kohli loves playing DC. He has 897 runs from 22 innings at an average of 51.6.  He is 103 runs short of 1000 run mark against DC.
  • Devdutt Padikkal – Devdutt looked fabulous in his short innings vs CSK, after his magnificent century vs RR. Against DC, he has 54 runs from 2 innings at an average of 27.
  • Glenn Maxwell – Big Show has a poor record vs DC (78 runs from 8 innings at an average of 12). He was part of the DC setup earlier in his IPL career. The way this IPL has gone so far, players with substandard records have performed, so don’t be surprised if he scores 78 runs in the next innings. Despite his below-par try him as VC role in 1-2 in Grand League teams.
  • AB de Villiers – Like Maxi, Mr.360 was also part of DC Camp. Against them, he has 474 runs from 13 innings at an average of 49.35. Key player.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal – Yuzi has 14 wickets from 13 innings against DC. Out of these, 10 wickets have come bowling first.
  • Washington Sundar – Sundar has 4 wickets from 5 innings against DC.
  • Harshal Patel – Purple Cap Holder (15 wickets in five games) was having a good match vs CSK until the last over. He was traded from DC to RCB this year and it will be interesting to see how he goes about his business in this encounter.
  • Mohammad Siraj – Siraj has 9 wickets from 7 innings against DC.
  • Daniel Christian has 5 wickets from 4 innings against DC. But, RCB could look at playing Finn Allen today.

Delhi Capitals

  • Shikhar Dhawan – Gabbar has 566 runs from 20 innings vs RCB at an average of 33.3.  He has a better record in 2nd innings. He currently has the most runs in IPL 2021 (259 runs, avg. 51.80, SR 142.30).
  • Prithvi Shaw – Shaw has 99 runs against RCB at an average of 19.8. He has an identical record in both innings. He is coming off a fine half-century last game vs SRH 953 off 39 balls).
  • Steve Smith – Steve Smith has 352 runs at an average of 32 from 13 innings vs RCB. He is working hard to find his best form. One to watch.
  • Marcus Stoinis – Stoinis has 110 runs against RCB at an average of 55. He has bowled thrice against RCB and yet to take a wicket.
  • Axar Patel has 15 wickets and 153 runs from 13 innings. He is back at Ahmedabad, where he had a wonderful time in the Tests vs England earlier this year.
  • Kagiso Rabada has 12 wickets from 4 matches against RCB. He will be key in restricting them at the death.
  • Amit Mishra has 15 wickets from 15 matches vs RCB.

  • RCB has dominated against DC while batting second.

Predicted Playing XI

R Ashwin has taken a break from IPL 2021 to support his family during India’s severe wave of COVID-19.

Delhi Capitals: 1. Prithvi Shaw, 2. Shikhar Dhawan, 3. Steve Smith, 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Shimron Hetmyer, 6. Marcus Stoinis, 7. Lalit Yadav, 8. Axar Patel, 9. Kagiso Rabada, 10. Amit Mishra, 11. Avesh Khan

RCB could look at playing Finn Allen over Dan Christian

Royal Challengers Bangalore: 1. Virat Kohli (c), 2. Devdutt Padikkal, 3. Finn Allen, 4. Glenn Maxwell, 5. AB de Villiers (wk), 6. Washington Sundar, 7. Kyle Jamieson, 8. Harshal Patel, 9. Navdeep Saini, 10. Mohammed Siraj, 11. Yuzvendra Chahal

Ahemdabad Pitch Report

This is Simon Doull and Kevin Pietersen Pitch Report from KKR vs PBKS Match.

“We had some matches here during the India-England series. The first three games of that series saw teams batting first struggling to score and the chasing side won all three. But India made big scores in the next two and defended them. Shows that the toss doesn’t matter a lot. There is a lovely even covering of grass on this pitch and that suggests that batsmen would be licking their lips. Not a big ground and there should be value for runs. The captain winning the toss would want to chase.”

Punjab Kings struggled with the bat yesterday. There was plenty of dew, so expect the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

Pat Cummins donates $50,000 to aid India in COVID fight

Pat Cummins donates $50,000 to aid India in COVID fight | Pat Cummins donates $50,000 to the PM Cares Fund to purchase oxygen supplies

Pat Cummins, the world’s leading Test match bowler, has donated $50,000 to the “PM Cares Fund” to help with the purchase of oxygen supplies for India’s hospitals.

India is currently battling a severe wave of COVID-19 infections, with the country reporting over one million cases over the past four days alone. Daily infection numbers are exceeding 300,000, and the health system is struggling to cope, leaving many in urgent need of medical support.

Cummins tweeted an announcement regarding his donation, which was met with messages of gratitude from many. “India is a country I’ve come to love dearly over the years and the people here are some of the warmest and kindest I’ve ever met. To know so many are suffereing so much at this time saddens me greatly,” read the initial part of the statement.

Cummins then mentioned the discussion as to whether the IPL should still go ahead in such circumstances. Three Australian players – Andrew Tye, Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa – have all left the IPL to be able to travel home.

“There has been quite a bit of discussion over here as to whether it is appropriate for the IPL to continue while COVID-19 infection rates remain high. I’m advised that the Indian Government is of the view that playing the IPL while the population is in lockdown provides a few hours of joy and respite each day at an otherwise difficult time for the country.”

The Australia and KKR fast bowler then went on to encourage others to contribute to the cause.

“As players, we are privileged to have a platform that allows us to reach millions that we can use for good. With that in mind, I have made a contribution to the “PM Cares Fund,” specifically to purchase oxygen supplies for India’s hospitals.

I encourage my fellow IPL players – and anyone around the world who has been touched by India’s passion and generosity – to contribute. I will kick it off with $50,000.”

Cummins’ generosity was met with positive responses from all parts.

One of the criticisms of the IPL has been that they haven’t properly acknowledged what’s happening outside of their bubble. Here, Cummins’ donation can pave the way for more assistance from the IPL towards India’s health crisis.

AJ Tye leaves IPL; 2 more Aussie players considering the same

AJ Tye leaves IPL; 2 more Aussie players considering the same | Rajasthan Royals pace bowler AJ Tye has left the IPL; another 2 Australian players could follow

Australia and Rajasthan Royals pace bowler Andrew Tye has left the IPL as India battles a severe wave of COVID-19 infections. India has recorded over one million positive cases over the past four days, with daily rates of infections now well over 300,000.

Tye wanted to avoid the risk of not being able to return home. According to reports, at least two other Australians feel the same way. This was confirmed by the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday morning, with Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson due to return home. This comes as the Australian government last week announced that it will reduce flights from India by 30%, and there is a chance that further restrictions will be introduced.

The BCCI remains confident that the tournament will go ahead smoothly as the franchises are in a tight bio-secure bubble. However, the concern for overseas players is getting back home once the tournament is over.

“There was a number of reasons [for leaving], but the main one was with the situation that has started to happen back home in Perth with a lot of cases in hotel quarantine coming out of India,” said Tye to SEN radio on Monday as he transited onto a flight to Sydney from Doha. “Now there’s been a community case in Perth governments are trying to restrict numbers coming back in, especially Western Australia.”

Tye also pointed out that extended periods in the bubble is challenging.

“I just thought to try and get on the front foot and get home before I got locked out of the country,” said Tye. “It’s been a long time in bubbles and hubs – doing the calculations earlier, think I’ve had 11 days at home out of the bubble since August, so for me I just wanted to get home.”

From a cricketing perspective, this year’s IPL represented an opportunity for Tye to further stake his claim for a spot in Australia’s T20 World Cup squad. With Jofra Archer out of the initial stages of IPL 2021 (and now for the whole tournament), an opportunity was made available for an overseas pacer. However, the Royals have persisted with Mustafizur Rahman, with Tye not featuring in any of the first five games.

In a special interview with CricBlog, Tye hoped that he’d get opportunities to play. You can watch the interview here or below.

IPL 2021 Match 21: PBKS vs KKR Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

IPL 2021 Match 21: PBKS vs KKR Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | PBKS vs KOL Dream11 Prediction Today | Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings Key Players | Ahemdabad Pitch Report

Punjab Kings & Kolkata Knight Riders move to Ahmedabad for their next 3 matches, they will go lock horns for the 21st match of the IPL 2021. And this clash is massively important for both these teams.

Punjab Kings got back to winnings ways in their last match against MI. The Kings’ bowlers kept the lid on Mumbai batters and restricted them to 131 in their quota of 20 overs. Mohammad Shami and leggie Ravi Bishnoi, who got his first game of IPL 2021 picked, 2 wickets each.

While chasing the total, Mayank 25 off 20 balls gave a good start to the team, KL 60 off 52 balls played his role superbly, and Universe Boss 43 off 35 brought a smile back to the faces of Punjab Kings Fans. A win against the defending champions would have certainly given Kings some confidence, and they will be hoping to replicate the same in their coming matches.

Kolkata Knight Riders have just 1 win from their 5 matches, and their think-tank has plenty to do. If they are not able to bounce back in the next 2 matches, it will be hard for them to make it to the playoffs.

In their previous match, they fell to Morris massacre who picked another 4 wicket haul against KKR. Playing on a good turf at Wankhede, they could only manage 133 runs for 20 overs. Rahul Tripathi was their top scorer with 36 runs off 26 balls.

Is it time for Lockie Ferguson? Does the batting lineup need tinkering with? These are the kind of questions that KKR must answer.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Punjab Kings

  • KL Rahul – KL average 37.1 against KKR with 297 runs from his 9 innings. His average goes up to 45.8 while batting second. He currently has the second-most runs in IPL 2021 (5 inns, 221 runs, avg. 55.25, SR 133.13).
  • Mayank Agarwal – Mayank has 209 runs from his 11 innings vs KKR at an average of 20.9. His average goes up to 25.3 while batting first.
  • Chris Gayle – Universe Boss has got this good habit of performing against his previous side. He started his IPL Career with KKR. While playing against them he has 700 runs from 18 innings at an average of 46.7.  Having said this, we noticed till now he has not done much damage while batting first he just averages 13.5 in 4 innings.
  • Nicholas Pooran – Nicky P is yet to fire and this match might be the perfect opportunity for him. He can forget all his previous and start fresh at a new venue. Against KKR he has 66 runs from 3 innings. He will be a good choice of C/VC in Grand Leagues.
  • Deepak Hooda – Deepak Hooda has 66 runs from 6 innings at an average of 13.2. He has also picked 2 wickets against them. However, he looks an improved player in IPL 2021.
  • Mohammad Shami – Shami started his IPL Career at KKR and grew under the guidance of Great Wasim Akram. Against them, he has 8 wickets from 9 innings. Out of 8 wickets, 7 wickets have come while the bowling second.
  • Moises Henriques has 6 wickets and 120 runs at an average of 20 from 7 innings.

Punjab Kings

  • Shubman Gill –  Gill has 209 runs from 5 innings at an average of 104.5 vs PBKS.  Unfortunately, he got run out in the previous game after a struggle. Try him as your C/VC role; it might be just his day against Kings.
  • Nitish Rana –  Rana has 178 runs at an average of 25.4 from 8 innings vs PBKS. He started the tournament brilliantly with back-to-back fifties but has faded away after that.
  • Andre Russell – Russell has 251 runs at an average of 31.4 from 8 innings vs PBKS. Also, he has 14 wickets against them.
  • Rahul Tripathi – Tripathi has 101 runs from 6 innings at an average of 16.8 vs PBKS. He was KKR’s top scorer in previous innings.
  • Eoin Morgan – Morgan got a diamond duck (0) in the last match, he got runout without facing a ball. He will be up against his previous side Kings; in opposition to them he has 223 runs from 7 innings at an average of 31.9.
  • Patrick Cummins – Patty Cummins has 2 wickets from 3 innings against PBKS. He has gone wicketless in the previous two innings, still, we believe that he will be a good addition to your Grand League Team. Try him in 1-2 GL Team.
  • Sunil Narine has 28 wickets and 170  runs at an average of 21.2. Naraine has his best record in IPL against Kings.
  • Varun Chakararty has 1 wicket from 2 innings vs Kings.

Ahemdabad Pitch Report

This Pitch Report is from Deep DasGupta and Ajit Agarkar from the India-England T20Is.

“This pitch was used for the second T20I. Looks good and this might start a little slow and the toss could play an important role. The square boundaries are really big here. Fifty percent of the runs scored against the fast bowlers on this ground seems to be behind the stumps and this might help bowlers who can vary their pace with shorter lengths proving to be a relatively better option.”

A very thorough analysis. Fantasy Nuts need to check which deck is being used as this venue has both deck with black soil and red soil wicket.

Overall KKR has dominated when these two sides have played against each other but Kings have the momentum on their side after their last win. The side which gets customary to the venue quickly will win the contest.

IPL 2021 Match 20: DC vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | DC vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Today | Delhi Capitals vs Sun Risers Hyderabad | Key Players | Chennai Pitch Report

After winning their first match in the IPL 2021, Orange Army Sunrisers Hyderabad will go down to the wire with the Delhi Capitals for the 20th match of the IPL. This also happens to be their last match of both the teams in Chennai.

Orange Army bowlers kept Punjab batters in check in the last game and restricted them to 120 in their 20 overs. Khaleel Ahmed was the pick of bowlers from SRH Camp, as he ended up with 3 wickets and just gave away 21 runs from his 4 overs.

While chasing a low total, David Warner (37 off 37 and Jonny Bairstow (63 off 56 balls) started brilliantly and sealed the game in the first 6 overs. Then, the calmness of Kane Williamson shone through. They have a lot of positives to take from this match and SRH fans will hope that this win makes the tournament wide open for them, despite the loss of T Natarajan for the rest of the tournament.

At the same time, Delhi Capitals went to beat the Defending Champions in their last match. That also happened to be their first win at Chepauk since 2010. They made most of their bowling resources against MI. They started with Stoinis who got de Kock early which eventually set up the match for them. After that, Mishra (4/24) came and did what he does best. He was adjudged Man of the Match for his performance.

Despite Shreyas being missing out, Capitals batter has done well so far, and with Steve Smith chipping in, they would be more confident going into the next match against SRH.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Delhi Capitals

  • Shikhar Dhawan – Dhawan will be up against his previous side. In opposition to SRH, he has 148 runs with an average of 24.7. Although we don’t have enough sample size the present record suggests that he has not done much damage in 2nd innings. However, he is in superb form.
  • Prithvi Shaw – Shaw has 147 runs from 6 innings at an average of 24.5 vs SRH. He has an identical record in both innings.
  • Steve Smith – Smith will be up against his Aussie Teammate David Warner. He has 273 runs from 10 innings at an average of 30.3 vs SRH.
  • Marcus Stonis – Stoinis has 54 and 3 wickets run against SRH. All these 3 wickets came in last year’s Eliminator.
  • Axar Patel – Patel has 134 runs from 99 runs at an average of 19.1. He also has 9 wickets against SRH.
  • Ravi Ashwin – Ashwin has 9 wickets from 13 innings against SRH. He will be playing at his home ground.
  • Kagiso Rabada – Rabada has 11 wickets from 6 innings against SRH. Out of 11 wickets, 9 have come bowling second. With his Slower one and Cutters, he will be a top choice for the C/VC role in Grand Leagues.
  • Amit Mishra – Mishra was part of Sun Risers Hyderabad earlier, while playing against them he has 8 wickets from 11 innings. He is coming off a great spell vs MI on this ground.

Chepauk Chennai Pitch Report Conditions

The Pitch Report by Matthew Hayden from MI vs PBKS match.

“The wicket is dry, it will turn and it is extremely challenging to play on. It’s about the toughness of characters and only champions like AB de Villiers rise on this track. It’s also the last match both these sides would be playing at Chepauk. Now, this pitch might be slow, low, sticky, totally non-T20-like, but it’s never boring.”

Fantasy nuts need to check which deck is being used before the toss.
