REN vs THU Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report: BBL 2022/23 Match 7 | MR vs ST Dream11 Prediction Today | Docklands Pitch Report
If Sydney Thunder aren’t embarrassed into action after a record-breaking low on Friday night, then nothing will wake them up. Less than 48 hours after their horrendous 15-all out at home at the hands of the Strikers, the Thunder have the chance to respond with a fighting display against the much improved Melbourne Renegades.
But, what frame of mind will Jason Sangha’s team be in? It was such a horrendous night where everything went wrong, starting with the batsmen’s tendencies to poke outside the off-stump. In what comes as relief, the Renegades don’t possess the same pace the Strikers do, but the men in green will face a different test here against some experienced seamers and high-quality spinners.
Led by Nic Maddinson, the Renegades will be aiming for two from two. The bowling attack delivered a few nights ago in Cairns after Maddinson himself played a blinder with the bat. But, there were periods where the Renegades faltered with the bat, and will be looking for a more consistent display in this clash.
BBL 2022/23 Match 7: REN vs THU Possible XI

Sydney Thunder have confirmed their squad, but may make changes to their final XI after the debacle of Friday night. Ben Cutting could come in for Oliver Davies and Nathan McAndrew could play as extra batting cover.

- Nic Maddinson made a magnificent start to BBL 12 with a 49-ball 87 vs Heat. He has historically struggled at this ground (11 inns, 169 runs, avg. 15.36, SR 112.67). Can he turn it around?

- Akeal Hosein will test the out-of-form Thunder batsmen with his quality spin. The left-armer took a brilliant 3/15 in the last match against Brisbane.

Marvel Stadium Docklands Melbourne Pitch Report and Weather
No rain is forecast in Melbourne on Sunday, with a top of about 24 degrees. Any rain wouldn’t have mattered anyway, as the stadium has a roof.
The surface at Marvel Stadium is usually one of the slowest in the country. But, last season, the pitches were more conducive to run-scoring. In 11 BBL matches in the 2021/22 season, the average first innings score was 174.64. The team batting first won eight of those games.
