T20 World Cup Match 6: IND-W vs BD-W Dream11 Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | IND-W vs BD-W Dream11 Prediction Today | IND-W vs BD-W Key Players | India Women vs Bangladesh Women Preview Dream11
In the first all-subcontinent clash in the 2020 T20 World Cup, it is the two finalists of the 2018 Asia Cup doing battle in an important game.
India made a statement against tournament favourites Australia. Their spinners, particularly Poonam Yadav, were outstanding, but the challenge will be to transfer this level of performance out west in Perth. Can India make it two from two and take the lead in Group A?
Bangladesh could be hampered by their lack of matches. However, they won the 2018 Asia Cup with victory over India in the Final, so their more fancied opponents should still be wary.
This tournament is a chance for Bangladesh to make improvements, after going winless in the 2016 and 2018 tournaments.
Key Players to Watch/Key Stats
- Harmanpreet Kaur has the most runs in India-Bangladesh T20Is (276, avg. 34.50).
- Salma Khatun, one of Bangladesh’s finest, is next on the list among active players (153, avg. 25.50).
- Nigar Sultana has been Bangladesh’s most consistent batter over the past two years: 309 runs, avg. 44.14, with one century.

- Shafali Verma has the potential to take India to the next level with her fast starts. Her SR is 144.08 in 15 T20Is.
- The return of Rumana Ahmed is a big boost for Bangladesh. She took 2/22 and scored 23 (22) in a Player of the Match performance vs India in the 2018 Asia Cup Final.
- Fargana Hoque has the most runs for Bangladesh in T20Is (949). However, apart from one score of 52* vs India, she has largely struggled against them (overall: 137 runs, avg. 17.12).

- But, the return of Poonam Yadav made so much of a difference. The star spinner ripped through Australia with 4/19, and has the most wickets in India-Bangladesh T20Is (17). Rumana Ahmed is next with 10.
- Shikha Pandey took 3/14 vs Australia, giving the India bowling attack another dimension. Also, Rajeshwari Gayakwad continued her wicket-taking form – she has 10 wickets in her last six T20Is.
- Nahida Akter, the Bangladesh left-arm spinner, has a fine T20I record: 49 wickets, avg. 12.10. However, she has just one wicket in four games vs India (average 80).
