After a horror start to their campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan (PAK) will be against Canada (CAN) in a match where they’ll be quite confident of registering their first win of the tournament. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York will host this game.

It has been a very difficult phase of Pakistan cricket as they first lost against USA and then failed to chase down 119 runs against India after being in a commanding position. The middle order has struggled quite badly and has failed to complement the bowlers who have been in good form recently.

Usman Khan has failed in the two games and there are chances that Saim Ayub may replace him. Fakhar Zaman has looked in good touch but has failed to score big. Babar and Rizwan have also failed to convert their starts into big scores. The batting unit must perform consistently before it’s too late for Pakistan.

Canada, on the other hand, defeated Ireland in their last game by 12 runs. Their batters scored the highest total (137 runs) at New York in this tournament and the bowlers then did a great job in defending that. But this will be a very challenging game for them as a team.

The bowlers will also have to be very disciplined with their lines & lengths as the Pakistani batters will be determined to attack them in this match.
