SRH vs LSG Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 58

SRH vs LSG Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 58 | SRH vs LKN Dream11 Prediction Today | Hyderabad Pitch Report

It’s now or never for Sunrisers Hyderabad. They sit in ninth place, but the closeness of the table means that four wins in their final four matches can see them qualify to the playoffs. After a disappointing defeat to KKR last week, Hyderabad then pulled off their own heist thanks to Glenn Phillips and co. against the Royals.

However, whether they can back this up is the key. It won’t be easy against the talented Lucknow Super Giants, who themselves have a lot at stake as well. They sit on 11 points, but their margin for error is shrinking with a number of challengers right behind them. So, how they bounce back after last week’s thrashing at the hands of Gujarat will be interesting to see.

The questions ahead of this game will make for tantalising viewing. Can Aiden Markram find form to add to a very exciting SRH middle order? What kind of platform can their top order provide? With regards to LSG, can they find some all-important momentum after two losses and a no-result in their past three games? Can their spinners outdo SRH’s batting lineup?

On a hot day in Hyderabad, things can heat up very quickly both literally and figuratively.

  • Krunal Pandya has dismissed Rahul Tripathi thrice in six innings and concedes less than a run-a-ball.

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad Pitch Report and Weather

The average first innings score at Hyderabad is on the lower side (170.6) compared to some other grounds in IPL 2023. The team batting first has won three of the five matches, with SRH mucking up their past two chases against DC and KKR respectively. So, chasing may be a tad tricky in this day game.

A very hot and mostly clear afternoon is forecast, with temperatures to exceed 40 degrees.

IPL 2023 playoffs qualification scenarios for each team

Cricket News: IPL 2023 playoffs qualification scenarios for each team | IPL qualification scenarios: which teams will make playoffs?

The playoffs race has been heating up in the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After the 56th league game, which was between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR), only four points separate the third-placed Rajasthan Royals (RR) with the bottom-placed Delhi Capitals (DC). Rarely has the league come across such a middle muddle.

Often, one sees that franchises progress to the playoffs on the final day with what is largely perceived as an inadequate number of points courtesy other results turning in their favour and due to net run rate (NRR). For example, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) qualified to the playoffs in IPL 2019 with only 12 points to their name! Here, we take a look at the qualification scenarios for each of the 10 teams.

IPL 2023 Playoff Qualification Scenarios

1. Gujarat Titans

Played – 11, Points 16, NRR +0.951

Remaining Matches: Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore

Gujarat Titans (GT) have more or less secured qualification, having reached to 16 points already with three games in hand.  Another win will most likely pave their way to the top four but the aim from here must be ensure that they do not slip down from the first two spots in the standings.

2. Chennai Super Kings

Played – 12, Points 15, NRR +0.493

Remaining Matches: Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals

Chennai Super Kings, much like GT, need another win to seal a top-four spot. They will be hosting KKR at home and then tour the struggling DC at the national capital for their final league game. As of now, two of the four spots in the points table seem to be confirmed so far.

3. Rajasthan Royals

Played – 12, Points 12, NRR +0.633

Remaining Matches: Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings

RR need to win the last two games to be sure of a place in the last four. They stormed back into form by beating KKR in style on Thursday but need to ensure that they take four points from the remaining two games to have qualms of their qualification chances.

4. Mumbai Indians

Played – 11, Points 12, NRR -0.255

Remaining Matches: Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad

Mumbai have a better prospect of making it to the semifinals as compared to Rajasthan, given that they have an additional game in hand. They can afford to lose once and still qualify by winning the other two matches. However, their NRR is a bit problematic at this stage and hence they should rely more on getting the required wins and making it through rather than ousting other teams basis NRR.

5. Lucknow Super Giants

Played – 11, Points 11, NRR +0.294

Remaining Matches: Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have 11 points in 11 matches but they can still get to 17 if they win the remaining three games. 17 will be enough to see them through to the next round as only MI can finish with more points outside of CSK and GT. However, a minor slip up in even one of the games might see them embroiled with other teams with the NRR coming into the equation in such a case.

6. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Played – 11, Points 10, NRR -0.345

Remaining Matches: Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have a tough challenge in their hands with only a victory in all of the remaining games realistically taking them through to the playoffs by their own. In any other scenario, they will need to be sure that their NRR beats that of their close competitors in the points table.

7. Kolkata Knight Riders

Played – 12, Points 10, NRR – -0.357

Remaining Matches: Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are in a precarious spot right now. Even if they beat CSK and LSG, they will get to only 14 at the end of the league stage. Their NRR is not the best right now and will need some massive victories to ensure that they get through eventually, as well as hope other results go their way.

8. Punjab Kings

Played – 11, Points 10, NRR – -0.441

Remaining Matches: Delhi Capitals, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals

Punjab Kings (PBKS) are relatively better poised than KKR to qualify. They will get to 16 in the best case scenario and they have to play the struggling Delhi Capitals (DC) twice, which can work in their favour. PBKS vs RR will be an interesting game to watch out for if both teams are still in the race for qualification until then.

9. Sunrisers Hyderabad

Played 10, Points 8, NRR -0.472

Remaining Matches: Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians

Despite being at the penultimate spot in the table, SRH can very well qualify on their own as they can optimistically get to 16 points by winning the rest of the four games. It is a far-fetched thought currently as they have won only two of their last five games. However, the team should be backing themselves at this stage to do the unthinkable and roar into the top four. Such a turnaround will that be!

10: Delhi Capitals

Played – 11, Points 8, NRR -0.605

Remaining Matches: Punjab Kings, Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings

DC must win their last three games to stand any chance of a remarkable comeback. Even then, their net run rate may have taken too much of a hit to qualify with seven wins.

BBL to have lower number of matches from 2023/24

Cricket News: BBL to have lower number of matches from 2023/24 season | Big Bash League season reduced to 44 games

The men’s Big Bash League (BBL) will have fewer matches in the 2023/24 season, one year before the new TV rights deal comes into play. There will be 44 matches in total from the upcoming season (40 home-and-away games & four finals), down from 61.

The BBL has often come for criticism in recent years. The move to a full home-and-away season, combined with the reduced availability of international stars, has led to reduced quality at stages and viewer fatigue. Crowds were down as the league took up more days on the calendar compared to any other league except the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s general manager of Big Bash Leagues, said that the move to have a shorter season can allow for quality over quantity.

“A shortened BBL will allow us greater flexibility to ensure we can deliver the best possible fixture for clubs and fans, while providing a platform that allows players to continue to produce the world-class levels of cricket we’ve seen over the duration of the tournament,” he said.

WBBL to remain at 59 games

There will be no change to the number of matches in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). This season’s WBBL 09 will remain a 59-game season, with three finals included.

“Whilst no changes have been made to the WBBL schedule, it’s vital that we make sure the tournament continues to be at the forefront of T20 Leagues as the global women’s game continues to evolve at a rapid rate,” said Dobson.

BBL matches – the key changes

  • Move from 61 matches to 44 matches (including all finals)
  • Top four will qualify for the playoffs, instead of five
  • Retention window in May for BBL and WBBL clubs to re-sign up to 12 and 10 players respectively

There will be another BBL draft this season. The WBBL will have its first. They are both expected to take place in September.

MI vs GT Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 57

MI vs GT Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 57 | MI vs GT Dream11 Prediction Today | Wankhede Pitch Report

Two strong chasing teams meet in a clash where the winner will further cement their spot in the top four. In fact, Gujarat Titans can confirm their passage to the playoffs after what has been another terrific league stage, rarely ever getting dominated in a great show of consistency. Now standing in their way are five-time champions Mumbai Indians who will be seeking to thrill once again after breaking into the top four courtesy mainly of Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliance.

Gujarat belted Mumbai earlier this season thanks to an excellent all-round display. However, MI have come a long way since, highlighting their prowess in three consecutive successful 200+ chases. Whether MI can win when batting first remains a question, whereas the Titans absolutely demolished LSG batting first and RR by nine wickets before that.

Wankhede Stadium has been a belter for batting this season. MI’s attack, who showed good signs against RCB, will sure to be tested once again. GT will be after another all-round display to seal a second-straight top-two finish.

IPL 2023 Match 57: MI vs GT Possible Playing XIIs

MI may elevate Suryakumar Yadav to number three again should the situation require it.

Mumbai Indians (possible impact player in bold italic): 1. Ishan Kishan (wk), 2. Rohit Sharma (c), 3. Suryakumar Yadav, 4. Nehal Wadhera/Tilak Varma, 5. Cameron Green (OS), 6. Tim David (OS), 7. Chris Jordan (OS), 8. Piyush Chawla, 9. Jason Behrendorff (OS), 10. Kumar Kartikeya, 11. Akash Madhwal/Arjun Tendulkar, 12. Arshad Khan

GT look relatively settled.

Gujarat Titans (possible impact player in bold italic): 1. Wriddhiman Saha (wk), 2. Shubman Gill, 3. Hardik Pandya, 4. Vijay Shankar, 5. David Miller (OS), 6. Abhinav Manohar, 7. Rahul Tewatia, 8. Rashid Khan (OS), 9. Mohit Sharma, 10. Mohammed Shami, 11. Noor Ahmad (OS), 12. Alzarri Joseph

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Mumbai Indians:

  • Suryakumar Yadav has rediscovered his mojo. He has been magnificent when chasing this season, hammering 327 runs at an average of 46.7 and superb strike rate of 205.7.
  • Surya will sure take on Rashid Khan. In 37 balls, Yadav has struck 50 runs against the star legspinner without dismissal.
  • Ishan Kishan played more than an able hand in the last game against RCB (42 off 21 balls). He has never been dismissed by Mohammed Shami in 42 deliveries, but strikes at just 100 against him. Key battle.
  • Nehal Wadhera has struck two half-centuries in a row (64 vs CSK and 52* vs RCB). The left-handed option in the middle can be key in thwarting GT’s quality attack.
  • Jason Behrendorff was superb in the powerplay against RCB. He finished with 3/36. The left-armer will be key against the likes of the in-form Shubman Gill.
  • Piyush Chawla is having a terrific season (17 wickets) but doesn’t have the best of records at Wankhede. In 14 matches on this ground, Chawla has taken ten wickets at an average of 35.80 and strike rate of 28.70.

Gujarat Titans:

  • MI need Shubman Gill out early. Otherwise the GT opener, who hit 94* in his last innings, can wreak havoc on this batting-friendly ground.
  • Gill hit a 34-ball 52 against MI earlier this season. Overall, Gill has hit 274 runs at an average of 30.44 and strike rate of 134.98 vs the five-time IPL champions.
  • Wriddhiman Saha smashed 81 off 43 balls in his last match against LSG. The keeper-batsman has a good career record against MI: 15 inns, 409 runs, avg. 37.18, SR 127.41.
  • Saha has struck 100 off 61 against Piyush Chawla in the IPL. He has been dismissed thrice.
  • Hardik Pandya returns to the Wankhede. He has scored the fifth-most runs on this ground (918) at an average of 34.00 and strike rate of 133.24.
  • Hardik also has 35 wickets at a strike rate of 20.60 on this ground. He dismissed Rohit earlier this year, so the GT captain can try his hand in the powerplay once again.
  • Since the start of 2022, David Miller has hit 400 runs when chasing in the IPL at an average of 133.3 and strike rate of 150.9.
  • Mohammed Shami has enjoyed success on this ground. In ten innings, he has picked up 18 wickets at an economy of 7.76 and strike rate of just 12.67.
  • Shami has dismissed Rohit twice in 51 balls, whilst conceding just 57. He has also dismissed Suryakumar once in 14 balls (21 runs).

Other Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 2, MI 1, GT 1.
  • Five of MI’s six wins this season have come when chasing.
  • Tim David has smashed nine fours and 21 sixes in 99 deliveries at Wankhede Stadium.
  • David Miller’s record at Wankhede: 16 inns, 377 runs, avg. 31.42, SR 135.13.
  • Rashid Khan vs Mumbai Indians: 12 matches, 14 wickets, avg. 20.00, econ. 5.83.

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Pitch Report and Weather

The Wankhede has been a batting paradise in IPL 2023. Scores of 200+ have not been safe. The average first innings score this season is 193.4, with the chasing team winning four of the five games.

A warm and mostly clear evening is forecast. Expect the captain who wins the toss to choose to chase.

KKR vs RR Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 56

KKR vs RR Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report: IPL 2023 Match 56 | KOL vs RR Dream11 Prediction Today | Eden Gardens Pitch Report

When you forget how to win, you really forget how to win. That is the case for Rajasthan Royals, whose losing streak – now five in their past six matches – culminated in the team losing the almost unloseable against Sunrisers Hyderabad a few nights back. They actually had it won, before that dreaded alarm sounded and Sandeep Sharma had to rebowl what turned out to be a fatal final delivery.

RR’s tactics, bowling changes and use of the impact player have come under great scrutiny from fans and pundits alike, and now is the time to bring it all together as they have dropped out of the top four. Defeat at Eden Gardens against Kolkata Knight Riders will see KKR leapfrog Sanju Samson’s team, which will leave the Royals in a very precarious position for their final two games.

With regards to KKR, things look a little rosier. They too are on ten points, but have the comfort of good recent form. Nitish Rana’s team have won three of their last four matches after a difficult run, and it is vital they make that confidence count in what is a magnificent playoffs’ race.

So, can the likes of Jason Roy and Andre Russell prey on RR’s nerves? Or will the Royals’ senior players lead the way and deliver when it matters? All to play for.

IPL 2023 Match 56: KKR vs RR Possible Playing XIIs

KKR look relatively settled after their tight win over Punjab Kings. They may stick with the same XII.

Kolkata Knight Riders (possible impact player in bold italic): 1. Jason Roy (OS), 2. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 3. Nitish Rana (c), 4. Venkatesh Iyer, 5. Andre Russell (OS), 6. Rinku Singh, 7. Shardul Thakur, 8. Sunil Narine (OS), 9. Harshit Rana, 10. Vaibhav Arora, 11. Varun Chakravarthy, 12. Suyash Sharma

The Royals have more questions than answers. Joe Root didn’t get to bat in his IPL debut, so he is likely to get another go. However, after bringing in Obed McCoy as an impact player, they used him for just one over. Whether Trent Boult is available after a niggle remains to be seen.

Rajasthan Royals (possible impact player in bold italic): 1. Yashasvi Jaiswal, 2. Jos Buttler (OS), 3. Sanju Samson (c & wk), 4. Joe Root (OS), 5. Shimron Hetmyer (OS), 6. Dhruv Jurel, 7. R Ashwin, 8. Sandeep Sharma, 9. Murugan Ashwin, 10. Trent Boult (OS), 11. Yuzvendra Chahal, 12. Kuldip Yadav

IPL 2023 56th match: KKR vs RR fantasy tips: key players to watch/key stats

Kolkata Knight Riders:

  • Jason Roy is in good touch. The opener has struck 43, 61, 56, 20 and 38 this season at a strike rate of 159.12.
  • Andre Russell helped lead KKR to victory against Punjab with a trademark Dre Russ innings. He will be seeking to improve on his record against RR: 9 inns, 170 runs, avg. 24.29, SR 170.00.
  • Russell has dominated Yuzvendra Chahal. In 37 deliveries in the IPL, Russell has hit 80 runs and has been dismissed just once.
  • Rinku Singh hit the winning runs once again. The left-hander is KKR’s leading run-scorer this season with 337 at an average of 56.16 and strike rate of 151.12.
  • Rinku when batting second in the IPL: 12 inns, 334 runs, avg. 47.7, SR 165.3.
  • Varun Chakravarthy is enjoying a dream run and can target the Royals’ recent tendency to lose middle overs wickets. The spinner has taken seven wickets in his past four matches.
  • Varun has dismissed Jos Buttler twice in 13 deliveries in the IPL. However, Buttler has hit 28 runs. This could be an interesting battle.
  • Sunil Narine has taken just one wicket in his past eight games. But, KKR will be hoping he can get the better of Sanju Samson. In 78 deliveries, Narine has dismissed him thrice for just 64 runs.
  • Narine also has strong numbers against Jos Buttler in T20s: 67 balls, 69 runs, three dismissals.

Rajasthan Royals:

  • Since the start of 2018, Jos Buttler has belted 286 runs in eight knocks against KKR at an average of 40.86 and strike rate of 139.51. This includes a century last season.
  • Yashasvi Jaiswal is the second-highest run-scorer in this IPL (477) at an average of 43.36 and strike rate of 160.60. In the powerplay this season, Jaiswal has hammered 276 runs at a strike rate of 166.3.
  • Will Sanju Samson deliver the goods? The RR captain averages 26.15 with a strike rate of 116.44 in 14 matches against KKR. At Eden Gardens, he strikes at 141.20 in nine matches (305 runs).
  • Trent Boult has a good record against Jason Roy in T20s. In 25 deliveries, he has dismissed him twice for just 34 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal also has good numbers against Roy in the IPL: 17 balls, 12 runs, two dismissals.
  • Boult v Andre Russell could be a fascinating battle. In 13 deliveries in the IPL, Boult has dismissed him twice but has conceded 25 runs.
  • RR could use R Ashwin against Russell. In seven deliveries in the IPL, Ashwin has picked up the KKR middle order batsman twice for just nine runs.

Other Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 27, KKR 14, RR 12, 1 N/R.
  • KKR have won six of eight matches against RR on this ground.
  • Nitish Rana has hit 27, 48, 4, 42 and 51 in his past five matches. In ten innings against RR, Rana has a middling record with 202 runs at an average of 25.25 and strike rate of 118.13.
  • R Ashwin strikes every 30 deliveries on average at Eden Gardens (13 innings, nine wickets).
  • Jos Buttler’s T20 record at Eden Gardens: 4 inns, 205 runs, avg. 51.25, SR 168.03.

MI vs RCB Twitter reactions – Suryakumar dazzles again

Cricket News: MI vs RCB Twitter reactions – Suryakumar dazzles again | Reactions to Suryakumar Yadav’s great innings

Swashbuckling star Suryakumar Yadav powered the Mumbai Indians (MI) to an emphatic victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday. Chasing 200, the home team got to the target in only 16.3 overs as Surya slammed 83 runs off 35 deliveries whilst batting at number three. The batsman, who came into the IPL on the back of three consecutive ducks in the ODI series against Australia, seems to have finally gotten in his groove.

He has played a vital role in some of the terrific chases that MI pulled off against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) recently. He has been timing the ball really well and is again able to execute his trademark acrobatic shots that make him such a force to reckon with in white-ball cricket.

MI vs RCB Twitter reactions: Mumbai Indians overcome Royal Challengers Bangalore

Here is how Twitterati reacted to Surya’s sensational knock against RCB.

Ishan Kishan and Nehal Wadhera played an able hand in supporting Surya in their incredible chase. Ishan hit four sixes and four boundaries to get to 42 off 21 deliveries as he helped MI maximise the powerplay and set up a great foundation for the likes of Surya and Wadhera to build their innings on. Wadhera had made a fine half-century against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he was promoted to bat at number four in this match.

The southpaw made full use of this opportunity, scoring 52 off 34 with four boundaries and three sixes to his name. MI have now skyrocketed to the third spot in the points table – behind only the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They will hope to carry on this form to the business end of the tournament as the race for the playoffs berths heats up in the coming week.

MI vs RCB Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report IPL 2023 Match 54 | MI vs RCB Dream11 Prediction Today | Wankhede Pitch Report

Back in match five of IPL 2023, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli put on a clinic to dispatch Mumbai Indians with ease. Since then, the fears surrounding each team has come to fruition somewhat, with Royal Challengers Bangalore still relying heavily on their opening duo and Glenn Maxwell, while MI’s ability to defend is in the spotlight.

So, the big question is which team will overcome their worries in this massive game? The winner will move into the top four of what is a packed and incredible table, where each result makes a significant difference. Also, when you consider both RCB and MI have negative net run rates, victory here is even more important.

The battles will make for intriguing viewing. MI’s seamers can break the back of the RCB batting lineup if they make inroads early. However, that is easier said than done given the indifferent form of their attack this year. For RCB, how their bowlers handle MI’s power hitters – particularly Suryakumar Yadav and Tim David – can be pivotal in the final analysis.

Strap in. This game between franchises who have two of the most passionate fanbases promises to be a beauty.

IRE vs BAN 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report

IRE vs BAN 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report | IRE vs BAN 1st ODI Dream11 Prediction Today | Chelmsford Pitch Report

Bangladesh fans will not be alone in supporting their beloved Tigers. South Africa will also be keeping a close eye as direct qualification to the World Cup hangs on this series. Should Ireland win 3-0, they will be heading straight to India while the Proteas will need to go to Zimbabwe next month for the qualifier tournament.

While the Irish know how to spring a surprise, it’s long odds for a 3-0 win. Not only will they have to contend with a strong ODI side in Bangladesh, but the weather in Chelmsford is iffy at best. Cold conditions and rain throughout the day is forecast, so Ireland need to be perfect if they are to win this clash.

For Bangladesh, this is a strong opportunity to perform in foreign conditions. The chilly, damp conditions are a stark contrast to what they are used to back home, so whether they can repeat their dominant home series performance against Ireland in March remains to be seen.

  • Jason Roy has struck two fifties in four matches this season at a strike rate of 159.29. His battle with Arshdeep Singh (six balls in T20s, no runs) could be interesting.
  • Andre Russell has not really fired with the bat this season, but today could be the day. He has smashed 366 runs in 11 innings against Punjab at a strike rate of 202.21.
  • Russell has scores 60 off 27 balls against Kagiso Rabada in the IPL (one dismissal).

  • Prabhsimran Singh is a player who can impact the game. He hit an impressive 23 off 12 balls against KKR earlier this season before he was caught unluckily down the legside.
  • Liam Livingstone has hit the go button. He is coming off a superb 82* (42) against MI. Both Arshdeep Singh (five balls) and Kagiso Rabada (four balls) have dismissed him once, so it promises to be excellent battles.
  • Sam Curran has made scores of 55, 21 and 29 in his past three knocks. He has dismissed Andre Russell twice in 15 balls in T20s (30 runs).
  • PBKS could look to have Kagiso Rabada send short balls down to the likes of Andre Russell. Also, the Proteas seamer has dismissed Venkatesh Iyer once in 11 balls (14 runs) and Jason Roy three times in 61 balls (82 runs) in T20s.
  • Arshdeep Singh has taken eight wickets in seven matches against KKR at an average of 22.13 and economy of 8.56. He will be seeking to bounce back after a tough outing against MI.

  • Nitish Rana has scored just 134 runs in nine innings against PBKS since the start of 2018 (avg. 14.89).
  • Venkatesh Iyer looked uncomfortable against the short ball in the last match. Expect the PBKS seamers to test him.

Eden Gardens Kolkata Pitch Report and Weather

A hot and clear night is forecast in Kolkata. According to Cricbuzz, pitch #4 will be used for this match and it could be drier given that is hasn’t been watered as much due to unreliable weather in recent times. Also, the curator said that hasn’t been too much dew in the last few nights. So, the spinners could have a fair say in this clash.

The average first innings score in four matches is 211.5. The team batting first has won three of them, so there may be the temptation to bat first.
