PBKS vs RCB Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 Qualifier 1

It’s a match made in IPL heaven. Two of the perennial underachievers – Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) – go head-to-head in what promises to be a mouthwatering contest with qualification to Sunday’s final up for grabs. There has pain and near misses for these two franchises over the years, so who handles the pressure better will be crucial.

PBKS play their first playoffs’ game since 2014. They beat Mumbai Indians in a crunch match earlier this week to finish top of the table and have a shot at reaching the final here. They have the crucial experience of leadership duo Shreyas Iyer and Ricky Ponting to guide a somewhat inexperienced team when it comes to these types of matches. Also, they have found ways to win in Mullanpur, with their defence of 111 against KKR the most famous.

For RCB, they too managed to qualify for the top two in stunning fashion, chasing 228 against Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday. Jitesh Sharma was the unsung hero, hammering his first-ever IPL fifty at the perfect time to seal a remarkable victory. However, RCB will want to be on their game with the ball after Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh took them apart, so Josh Hazlewood’s return is handy. Also, how quickly they can settle after a very quick turnaround from their last game will be interesting to see.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Mullanpur pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025.

Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium Mullanpur Pitch Report and Weather

It has been a real mixed bag in Mullanpur this season. The first two matches saw three 200-plus totals. The next game saw PBKS defend 111 against KKR on a surface offering assistance for both seam and spin bowlers.

Pacers have taken 28 wickets in four matches. Spinners have picked up 23. A hot and clear night is forecast with a top of about 30 degrees.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for PBKS vs RCB: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Josh Inglis won man of the match against MI for his superb 42-ball 73. He smashed 32 off 12 balls in the previous game as well.
  • Prabhsimran Singh is one run away from notching up 500 for the season. Singh looked good against RCB earlier this season, hitting 33 off 16 balls in the powerplay before he was dismissed by Krunal.
  • Phil Salt offers great fantasy potential at the top. He has scores of 62 (vs SRH) and 30 (vs LSG) in his past two matches. If he gets through his difficult matchup against Arshdeep, he can get a significant score.

Key batter picks:

  • Virat Kohli has struck six fifties in his past eight games, including 73* against PBKS on this ground. Kohli has an average of 46.5 and strike rate of 182.4 against Arshdeep Singh (51 balls, 93 runs).
  • Shreyas Iyer is in fine form. He has scores of 25*, 72, 45, 30, 53 and 26* in his past six innings. However, he missed out twice against RCB earlier this season and has struggled at Mullanpur in IPL 2025 with scores of 10, 9, 0 and 6.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Krunal Pandya is key. Expect RCB to use him early against Josh Inglis. Inglis has been dismissed four times by spin in IPL 2025 at an average of 16 and strike rate of 152.4. Krunal is striking every 15.6 deliveries against right-handed batters this season (10 wickets).

Key bowler picks:

  • Arshdeep Singh will be crucial especially in the powerplay. He has a dominant record against Phil Salt in all T20s: 32 balls, 25 runs, four wickets.
  • Josh Hazlewood is also crucial in the early and backend overs. He dismissed Priyansh Arya in the last meeting and has a dominant record against Shreyas Iyer in the IPL: 19 balls, nine runs, three wickets.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar has excellent head-to-head numbers against PBKS’ key players. He has dismissed Prabhsimran Singh four times in 36 balls (59 runs) and Shreyas Iyer three times in 50 balls for just 45 runs.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Harpreet Brar has a fantastic record against RCB. The left-arm spinner has picked up 11 wickets at an average of 19.3 and strike rate of 15.3.
  • Jitesh Sharma comes into this game with great confidence after smashing a 33-ball 85 against LSG.
  • Priyansh Arya stormed back into form with 62 (35) against MI. His matchup against Hazlewood will be important.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal has had an up-and-down season but can come in handy against Jitesh Sharma and Mayank Agarwal (see below).
  • Romario Shepherd can offer a good point of difference as he bowls 2-3 overs and can finish strongly with the bat. He smashed 53 off 14 balls against CSK recently.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: PBKS 18, RCB 17.
  • RCB and PBKS both won a game against each other in the IPL 2025 league stage.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal vs Jitesh Sharma in the IPL: 39 balls, 43 runs, four wickets.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal vs Mayank Agarwal in the IPL: 51 balls, 75 runs, seven wickets.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar vs Marcus Stoinis in all T20s: 14 balls, 19 runs, one wicket.
  • Josh Hazlewood vs Marcus Stoinis in all T20s: 16 balls, 21 runs, one wicket.

PBKS vs MI Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 69th Match

The 69th match of IPL 2025 promises to be a beauty. It has so much riding on it, with the winner to seal a crucial top two spot.

A month ago, it looked like it would be another disappointing season for Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians. Fast forward a month, they have won seven of their past eight games and will finish above both Gujarat Titans (GT) and today’s opponents – Punjab Kings (PBKS) – with victory today. If they lose, they will finish fourth and play either GT or Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Eliminator.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) are in the same boat. Victory will confirm a top two finish in their first playoffs’ appearance since 2014. Their performance against Delhi Capitals (DC) was disappointing by their high standards this season, failing to make much of an impact with the ball after hitting 200+ themselves. If they get things right here, they can certainly beat MI, but they’ll have to be on top of their game against an in-form side.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Jaipur pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 69th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 69th Match: PBKS vs MI Possible Playing XIIs

Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosch are available for this match before they depart for national duty.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Rohit Sharma, 2. Ryan Rickelton (wk), 3. Will Jacks, 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Hardik Pandya (c), 7. Naman Dhir, 8. Mitchell Santner, 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Jasprit Bumrah, 11. Trent Boult, 12. Karn Sharma/Ashwani Kumar

According to ESPNcricinfo, Yuzvendra Chahal is set to miss this match due to a wrist injury.

Punjab Kings: 1. Priyansh Arya, 2. Prabhsimran Singh, 3. Shreyas Iyer (c), 4. Josh Inglis (wk), 5. Nehal Wadhera, 6. Shashank Singh, 7. Marcus Stoinis, 8. Azmatullah Omarzai, 9. Harpreet Brar, 10. Marco Jansen, 11. Arshdeep Singh, 12. Praveen Dubey

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur Pitch Report and Weather

Jaipur has been batting friendly, especially in recent matches. In the past four games, there have been seven 200+ scores in the eight innings. Overall, the chasing team has won four of the seven games on this ground this season. Expect chasing to be preferred again.

Pacers have taken 33 wickets at Jaipur in IPL 2025. Spinners have picked up 24. Another very hot and clear night is forecast.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for PBKS vs MI: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Prabhsimran Singh was looking good for a bigger score than the 28 (18) he managed against DC. He remains a crucial pick and captaincy option as he nears 500 runs for the season (486 runs, avg. 37.38, SR 170.52).
  • Ryan Rickelton has made six 20+ scores in his past eight matches. His matchup against Arshdeep is important; the MI opener has excellent numbers against left-arm seam in T20s this year: 71 balls, 140 runs, two wickets, SR 197.2.

Key batter picks:

  • Suryakumar Yadav has the opportunity to break the record for most consecutive 25+ scores in men’s T20s. He currently has 12.
  • Shreyas Iyer has a middling record against MI (388 runs, avg. 25.87, SR 116.17), but he is in good form with scores of 25*, 72, 45, 30 and 53 in his past five innings. He also has a combined 174 runs off 132 balls (two wickets) against Bumrah, Boult and Chahar in the IPL.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Will Jacks bats in the top three and all six of his wickets this season have been left-handers. He could be used against Priyansh Arya and Nehal Wadhera.

Key bowler picks:

  • Jasprit Bumrah has the equal sixth-most wickets (16) in IPL 2025 despite playing just nine matches. Bumrah will be key up top and has an excellent record against finisher Marcus Stoinis (see below).
  • Trent Boult has the third-most wickets this season (19), including 13 in his past five matches. Boult’s matchup against Priyansh Arya will be key as he has dismissed left-handed batters 11 times in T20s this year at a strike rate of 17.
  • Arshdeep Singh has gone wicketless in his past two games, but remains an important fantasy pick. Arshdeep will be looking to test Rohit Sharma, especially as the MI opener continues to struggle against left-arm seam (see below).

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Priyansh Arya has been dismissed for a single-digit score in his past three matches. Today he comes up against a strong powerplay attack in Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah. If he gets through that period, he can make a significant score.
  • Rohit Sharma against Arshdeep Singh is a key matchup. Also, Rohit has struggled batting first this season, with just 95 runs at an average of 15.8. Batting second, he has struck 210 runs at an average of 42.
  • Josh Inglis bats in the top three and looked in superb form against DC where he smashed a 12-ball 32.
  • Marcus Stoinis comes into this game in form after having smashed 44* off 16 balls against DC. How he deals with Bumrah and Boult here will be key. He is striking at 297 between overs 17-20 in IPL 2025.
  • Both Nehal Wadhera (avg. 71.5 when chasing this season) and Shashank Singh (284 runs, SR 149.47) can be good differential picks.
  • Hardik Pandya didn’t bowl in the last game, but will be key as a finisher. He strikes at 153.29 in 15 matches against PBKS.
  • Harpreet Brar has five wickets in his past two matches on this ground. Mitchell Santner is coming off a superb three-wicket haul against DC and will be key against PBKS’ right-handers.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: MI 17, PBKS 15.
  • Suryakumar Yadav career record vs PBKS: 18 inns, 505 runs, avg. 29.71, SR 156.83.
  • Rohit Sharma against left-arm pace in IPL 2025: 45 balls, 66 runs, four dismissals.
  • Arshdeep Singh vs Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL: 29 balls, 38 runs, one dismissal.
  • Jasprit Bumrah vs Marcus Stoinis in the IPL: 28 balls, 35 runs, three dismissals.
  • Trent Boult vs Marcus Stoinis in all T20s: 39 balls, 46 runs, two dismissals.
  • Hardik Pandya has scored just 13 runs off 22 balls against Arshdeep Singh in the IPL (one wicket).

DC vs PBKS Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 66th Match

The 66th match of IPL 2025 sees Delhi Capitals take on Punjab Kings in take two after their original matchup was abandoned on May 8.

Since then, DC have continued their collapse, falling out of playoffs contention despite sitting top of the league after six matches. PBKS have continued to remain solid, sealing their own playoffs’ berth for the first time in over a decade. Now, the focus for Punjab is a top two spot.

PBKS come into this match after beating RR by ten runs last Sunday. Their batting depth was on show, hitting a big total despite no big contributions from their in-form opening duo. With the ball, Shreyas Iyer has options to turn to, in contrast to DC who have been struggling.

On a Wankhede turner, DC conceded 48 runs in the last two overs to hand the initiative to Mumbai Indians. They were then never in the hunt to chase down 181, which sealed their elimination. Now, it remains to be seen what their levels of motivation will be in trying to finish their season on a high and hurt PBKS’ top two chances.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Jaipur pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 66th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 66th Match: DC vs PBKS Possible Playing XIIs

Axar Patel missed the MI match due to illness. If he returns for this game, expect Madhav Tiwari to drop out.

Also, given DC are eliminated, they may look to give other players an opportunity.

Delhi Capitals: 1. KL Rahul, 2. Faf du Plessis (OS), 3. Abishek Porel (wk), 4. Sameer Rizvi, 5. Axar Patel (c)/Madhav Tiwari, 6. Tristan Stubbs (OS), 7. Ashutosh Sharma, 8. Vipraj Nigam, 9. Dushmantha Chameera (OS), 10. Kuldeep Yadav, 11. Mustafizur Rahman (OS), 12. Mukesh Kumar

PBKS look settled and could stick with the same team that beat RR by ten runs on May 18th.

Punjab Kings: 1. Priyansh Arya, 2. Prabhsimran Singh (wk), 3. Mitchell Owen (OS), 4. Nehal Wadhera, 5. Shreyas Iyer (c), 6. Shashank Singh, 7. Azmatullah Omarzai (OS), 8. Marco Jansen (OS), 9. Xavier Bartlett (OS), 10. Arshdeep Singh, 11. Yuzvendra Chahal, 12. Harpreet Brar

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur Pitch Report and Weather

The average first innings score at Sawai Mansingh Stadium this season is 199.6. In night matches, this increases slightly to 202 in three games. The team bowling first won two of these three night matches.

Pacers have taken 28 wickets at Jaipur this season. Spinners have managed 17, including Harpreet Brar, who delivered a brilliant spell of 3/22 against RR last Sunday.

Another very hot evening is forecast with a top temperature of about 40 degrees expected at match time. There is no chance of rain.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for DC vs PBKS: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Prabhsimran Singh has struck 33, 83, 54, 91 and 21 in his past five innings. He was also 50* against DC when that match was abandoned.
  • KL Rahul struck 112* two games ago. The classy Rahul is especially dangerous when there is nothing to lose.

Key batter picks:

  • Priyansh Arya has missed out in his last two games, but remains a crucial player at the top. He is striking at 185.9 in the powerplay this season and faces a DC side struggling with the ball. He scored 70 (34) in the game against DC that was eventually abandoned.
  • Shreyas Iyer has made scores of 25*, 72, 45 and 30 in his past four knocks.
  • Nehal Wadhera can be an excellent pick as he batted at four in the last match. The left-hander struck a glorious 37-ball 70 against RR, which was easily his most significant innings when batting first this season. Batting second, he has 143 runs at an average of 71.5 and strike rate of 162.5.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Marco Jansen bowls in the crunch overs, which brings wicket-taking opportunities. The tall left-arm seamer has five wickets in his past three matches.
  • Axar Patel is a safe pick if he returns from illness. The DC captain bats in the top five and will bowl four overs.

Key bowler picks:

  • Arshdeep Singh missed out from a fantasy perspective in his last game, going for 60 runs in four wicketless overs against RR. But, he remains a top pick given his prowess in the crunch plus his good head-to-head record against KL Rahul (see below).

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Tristan Stubbs continues to bat lower down the order, making him a better pick if DC bats first. The stats support this, with Stubbs averaging 92.5 (SR 160.9) compared to 24.2 (SR 138.6) batting second. Also, Stubbs has a good record against Arshdeep (see below).
  • Vipraj Nigam typically bowls four overs and DC are willing to use him up the order.
  • Azmatullah Omarzai hit 21* (9) and took 2/44 in his last game against RR. PBKS could look to use him with the newer ball under lights.
  • Mitchell Owen missed out in the last match but he is worth considering as he bats in the top three.
  • Harpreet Brar took 3/22 on this ground last Sunday.

  • Arshdeep Singh vs Tristan Stubbs in all T20s: 24 balls, 45 runs, no wicket.
  • Axar Patel vs Shreyas Iyer in the IPL: 52 balls, 79 runs, one wicket.
  • Yuzvendra Chahal vs KL Rahul in the IPL: 83 balls, 125 runs, one wicket.

Can Mumbai Indians still finish in the top 2 in IPL 2025?

The four playoff teams were confirmed with seven matches to spare in the 2025 IPL league stage. Mumbai Indians (MI) sealed their qualification after beating Delhi Capitals (DC) comfortably by 59 runs on May 21. This was MI’s seventh win from their past eight encounters.

While the top four teams are set, there is still interest regarding where Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and MI finish on the IPL table. Finishing first or second could prove crucial, evidenced by the fact that a top two team has gone on to win the title 14 times out of the 17 editions to date.

Can 4th placed Mumbai Indians still make the top 2?

Here is the current IPL table, as of 24th May:

PositionTeamMatchesPointsNRR
1GT13180.602
2PBKS12170.389
3RCB13170.255
4MI13161.292

After RCB’s defeat against SRH on Friday, GT will seal a top two finish if they beat bottom-of-the-table CSK on Sunday in Ahmedabad.

Two wins for PBKS will see them finish top of the table. One win from their last two games can still be enough to finish in the top two, depending on how RCB fare against LSG. If PBKS and RCB win one game each, it will come down to net run rate.

So, Mumbai Indians need a lot to go their way to finish in the top 2. Along with beating PBKS at Jaipur to take them to 18 points, MI require two of the following scenarios to happen:

  • CSK beat GT.
  • RCB lose their last match against LSG.
  • PBKS lose to DC.

Let’s take the scenario of LSG beating RCB and PBKS losing to DC. If MI then beat PBKS, MI will finish second thanks to their superior net run rate.

Here is how the final table would look:

The IPL playoffs are scheduled to begin with Qualifier 1 on Thursday 29th May at Mullanpur.

RCB vs SRH Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 65th Match

It’s been a while since Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have played a match. Their last encounter was more than two weeks ago with a suspended match against LSG and abandoned match against KKR keeping them waiting.

They will now return to action in the 65th match of IPL 2025. Rajat Patidar’s team are seeking a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to go towards sealing a crucial top two spot. They are hot favourites to do so here, with a functioning batting lineup and efficient bowling unit performing well especially away from Bengaluru.

In this game in Lucknow, efficiency and consistency will be key for RCB again. Even though SRH have had a poor season, they have players who can cause problems on the day. A strong start with both bat and ball in the powerplay is key, before RCB’s death-overs stars will be looking to produce more of the same.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Lucknow pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 65th Match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 65th Match: RCB vs SRH Possible Playing XIIs

Phil Salt is available for selection after recovering from illness. “Rajat Patidar’s right hand (finger injury) had time to recover, making him fit to bat again. Additionally, Salt, who had been sick, got a chance to recharge his batteries and is now back at full force,” said coach Andy Flower.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 1. Phil Salt (OS), 2. Virat Kohli, 3. Mayank Agarwal, 4. Rajat Patidar (c), 5. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6. Tim David (OS), 7. Romario Shepherd (OS), 8. Krunal Pandya, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Lungi Ngidi (OS), 11. Yash Dayal, 12. Suyash Sharma

According to Sportstar, Travis Head is available for selection. “As far as I’m aware, he’s [Head] declared fit and ready to go for selection,” said SRH pace-bowling coach James Franklin.

Also, SRH may give Mohammed Shami a game as he has a good head-to-head record against Virat Kohli in the IPL: 77 balls, 107 runs, five wickets.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. Abhishek Sharma, 2. Travis Head (OS), 3. Ishan Kishan (wk), 4. Heinrich Klaasen (OS), 5. Kamindu Mendis/Atharva Taide, 6. Aniket Verma, 7. Nitish Kumar Reddy, 8. Pat Cummins (c, OS), 9. Harshal Patel, 10. Harsh Dubey, 11. Eshan Malinga/Mohammed Shami, 12. Zeeshan Ansari

Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow Pitch Report and Weather

This game has been moved to Lucknow due to adverse weather conditions in Bengaluru. The average first innings score on this ground is 180.67, with the chasing team winning five of the six matches. Pace bowlers have taken 38 wickets at Lucknow in IPL 2025. Spinners have taken 21.

A hot and mostly clear night is forecast with a top of about 35 degrees.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for RCB vs SRH: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Phil Salt is expected to return and can make a big impact. SRH have taken just 18 powerplay wickets this season at an overall economy rate of 9.96.

Key batter picks:

  • Virat Kohli will be itching to get back to the crease. The great batsman has struck four consecutive half-centuries (73*, 70, 51, 62) and has scores of 100 and 51 in the past two seasons against SRH.
  • Travis Head’s fitness levels are in question after testing positive to Covid. Also, Head has had a quiet season by his standards. But, he can fire on his day.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Krunal Pandya has had an excellent season with 14 wickets at an economy of 8.57 and strike rate of 15.00. He will be key against Heinrich Klaasen who has been dismissed twice by left-arm orthodox in IPL 2025 at an average of 17.5 and strike rate of 125.
  • Abhishek Sharma comes into this game off the back of two consecutive half-centuries. He struck a 20-ball 59 in the last game against LSG.

Key bowler picks:

  • Harshal Patel is SRH’s leading wicket-taker this season with 15 at a strike rate of 15.20. Patel will be key in the death overs; he has overall figures of 1/2 off six balls against Tim David.
  • Pat Cummins went wicketless in the last game against LSG on this ground. However, he took six wickets in three games before that and can contribute with the bat.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • SRH have lost 20 wickets in the powerplay this season. Their struggles in the first six overs represents an opportunity for Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
  • Romario Shepherd can be a strong differential pick if RCB bats first. SRH have conceded 19 scores of 200 or more since 2022 – the most of any IPL team in this period.
  • Yash Dayal has a good head-to-head record against Abhishek Sharma (see below).
  • Eshan Malinga has taken the third-most wickets for SRH this season despite playing just five games. Five of his nine wickets have come with fuller deliveries, which is key at the death.
  • Ishan Kishan has had a poor season. But, he has recent scores of 44 and 35. Also, he has 384 runs against RCB at an average of 29.50 and strike rate of 158.7.
  • Nitish Kumar Reddy bowled for the first time this season and has improved with the bat in recent matches.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 25, RCB 11, SRH 13, N/R 1.
  • Abhishek Sharma vs RCB: 9 inns, 197 runs, avg. 24.6, SR 166.9.

Most consecutive 25+ scores in men’s T20s

Suryakumar Yadav broke the record for most consecutive 25+ scores in men’s T20s. The Mumbai Indians’ number four achieved the feat during the match against Punjab Kings on May 26 in Jaipur.

It begs the question, whose record did Surykumar beat? In this article, we will look at the players with the most consecutive scores of 25+ in men’s T20s, which includes domestic, franchise and international cricket.

Lost of most consecutive 25+ scores in men’s T20s

PlayerNumber of consecutive 25+ scores
Suryakumar Yadav16
Temba Bavuma13
Kyle Mayers, Chris Lynn, Kumar Sangakkara, Jacques Rudolph, Brad Hodge11

Suryakumar beat Temba Bavuma’s record of 13. His consistency in IPL 2025 has been superb, making a 25+ score in every game. He finished with 717 runs at an average of 65.18 and strike rate of 167.91.

South Africa’s Bavuma achieved the feat in 2019-20, which included scores of 49, 27*, 43, 31 and 49 in his first five T20 Internationals.

Five other players have achieved 11 consecutive 25+ scores:

  • Brad Hodge put together the streak between 2005 and 2007. His fellow countryman, Chris Lynn, had his own run of 11 during the 2023-24 period.
  • South Africa’s Jacques Rudolph achieved the feat in 2014-15.
  • Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara hit 11 consecutive 25+ scores in 2015.
  • West Indies’ Kyle Mayers was the latest to join the 11 club in 2024.

Suryakumar Yadav has put together an excellent IPL 2025 campaign. At the time of writing, Suryakumar reached 610 runs at an average of 76.25.

Twitter Reactions – UAE beat Bangladesh 2-1 in T20I series, Tigers criticised

United Arab Emirates (UAE) have achieved one of their finest victories, coming from 1-0 down to beat Test nation Bangladesh 2-1 in their T20I series in Sharjah. After chasing 206 in the second T20I, the hosts produced another excellent display in the third match, chasing the 163-run target with five balls and seven wickets to spare.

After Tanzid Hasan’s early onslaught, no one else could deliver for Bangladesh. They were five down for 57 by the seventh over, with Tanzid contributing 40 off 18 balls himself. The Tigers then collapsed further to 84/8, with their final total of 162/9 somewhat of a miracle thanks to Jaker Ali (41 off 34 balls), Hasan Mahmud (26* off 15 balls) and Shoriful Islam (16* off 7 balls).

Haider Ali was outstanding. The left-arm spinner took 3/7 in a dominant display. His seven runs conceded is the fewest by a bowler from an Associate nation against a Full Member in a men’s T20I.

In reply, the UAE were in control despite losing skipper Muhammad Waseem, the star of the second match, just nine balls into the innings. Alishan Sharafu (68* off 47 balls) and Asif Khan (41* off 26 balls) took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half of the innings, combining for a 86-run stand to seal victory.

Reactions: UAE defeat Bangladesh 2-1, providing reminder of the Tigers’ woes

The triumph is UAE’s second series win against a Full Member after beating Ireland 2-1 in 2021. They were also 1-0 down on that occasion.

Also, UAE had suffered a chastening loss to Saudi Arabia in December 2024. For Bangladesh, this defeat will surely raise big questions on the state of their cricket. This result comes a year after losing 2-1 to the United States of America (USA) which preceded the T20 World Cup. The lack of progress in all formats of cricket – especially T20Is – has left fans frustrated and critics justified.

Here are some of the reactions to the series. “Nice to see smiles on the face of UAE cricket. Well done,” wrote former West Indies fast bowler and current commentator Ian Bishop on X, formerly Twitter.

Bangladesh will now travel to Pakistan for three T20Is. How they respond against a Pakistan team also looking to find form will be interesting to see.

GT vs LSG Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 64th Match

Gujarat Titans (GT) have defied the law of averages in IPL 2025. Their top three have been mighty prolific, with the consistency of Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill praised far and wide. Also, Jos Buttler has been magnificent at three, meaning the GT middle order has not often been called on in times of difficulty.

If form is anything to go by, GT’s top order should have another good outing. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have fallen off a cliff, losing five of their past six matches to confirm their elimination from IPL 2025. Their bowlers have leaked three 200+ totals in a row, while their batting lineup still relies too much on a top order that has performed well, but not to the level of GT.

The LSG attack have a tough ask on their hands. Gill and Sudharsan are in rare form, with both amassing above 600 runs for the season. They reached that mark after chasing 200 together against DC. But, if LSG do manage to take powerplay wickets, they can test GT’s middle order.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Ahmedabad pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 64th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 64th Match: GT vs LSG Possible Playing XIIs

Gujarat Titans: 1. Shubman Gill, 2. Sai Sudharsan, 3. Jos Buttler (OS, wk), 4. Sherfane Rutherford (OS), 5. Shakrukh Khan, 6. Rahul Tewatia, 7. Rashid Khan (OS), 8. Kagiso Rabada (OS), 9. Arshad Khan, 10. Sai Kishore, 11. Mohammed Siraj, 12. Prasidh Krishna

Lucknow Super Kings: 1. Aiden Markram (OS), 2. Mitchell Marsh (OS), 3. Nicholas Pooran (OS), 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Ayush Badoni, 6. Abdul Samad, 7. Shardul Thakur, 8. Ravi Bishnoi, 9. Akash Deep, 10. Avesh Khan, 11. Digvesh Rathi, 12. Will O’Rourke (OS)

Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad Pitch Report and Weather

Ahmedabad has been a batting belter this season, with four totals above 200 and the other 196. The average first innings total is 216.6, with the team batting first winning four out of the five matches. Pacers have taken 42 wickets on this ground in IPL 2025, compared to 15 for the spinners.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for GT vs LSG: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Rashid Khan vs Nicholas Pooran in domestic T20s: 56 balls, 50 runs, three wickets.
  • Rashid Khan vs Rishabh Pant in all T20s: 107 balls, 120 runs, three wickets.
  • Prasidh Krishna has kept Nicholas Pooran quiet in the IPL: 20 balls, 8 runs, no wickets.
  • Prasidh Krishna vs Rishabh Pant in the IPL: 21 balls, 30 runs, two wickets.
  • Shardul Thakur vs Jos Buttler in the IPL: 49 balls, 69 runs, two wickets.

Stephen Fleming reacts to CSK sitting bottom of the IPL 2025 table

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to finish bottom of the IPL table for the first time in their history. Their six-wicket defeat to Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday has left them needing a miracle to avoid finishing tenth as they need to thrash high-flying Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday in Ahmedabad.

Stephen Fleming did not mince words following CSK’s latest defeat. The coach said it is “probably fitting” they are bottom of the league.

“No, we don’t obviously like being down here, but it’s not a motivation. We wanted just a good performance. We’re trying to string some performances together. The aim was two good performances (in last two matches),” he said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

“Now it’ll be one good one to finish. It’s probably fitting that we’re at the bottom. We’ve played that type of cricket, so you can’t hide away from it.”

Stephen Fleming highlights key problem areas as CSK set to finish bottom of the IPL table

CSK’s top order struggled badly early in the season, which eventually left the franchise with way too much to do to in the back half of IPL 2025. The likes of Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway and Rahul Tripathi found the going difficult, and they were further hampered by Shivam Dube’s struggles against spin given he was pinpointed as a key player.

Fleming spoke about CSK’s inability to put good innings together. 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre and injury replacement Dewald Brevis were comfortably the bright spots in the CSK batting lineup, which speaks volumes about their season.

“Our order is not right at this stage, and that is something that we are always looking to rejig,” Fleming said. “We’ve got some strong ideas for next year, so all those facets are covered. But that hasn’t been possible this year because of the lack of runs at the top.

“A lot of the batting positions are determined by how well a start we have, and then guys can fall into line. We haven’t had that. So we’ve been just patching innings up, really, rather than constructing good innings.”

It would take something truly remarkable for CSK not to finish bottom of the table. With their current net run rate of -1.030, they will need to beat GT by 109 runs if they score 200 batting first. If GT bat first and score 150, CSK will need to chase this in 13.1 overs or less to overtake RR’s net run rate of -0.549.

MI vs DC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 63rd Match

The 63rd match of IPL 2025 has a quarter final feel to it. The playoffs come a little early here as Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) go head-to-head in a battle of nerves with so much at stake.

MI will officially confirm their place in the top four with victory here. If they lose, Hardik Pandya’s team will still be in contention as they and DC play Punjab Kings to end the league stage. However, MI will be keen to put on a big performance at home and seal their playoffs spot.

For DC, lose and it’s over. Win and their destiny will be in their own hands. But, they need a huge turnaround. The Capitals have won just two of their past seven games, and are coming off a thrashing at the hands of Gujarat Titans where the bowling attack lacked penetration against Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Wankhede Mumbai pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 63rd match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 63rd Match: MI vs DC Possible Playing XIIs

Will Jacks is available until the end of the league stage. Jonny Bairstow will replace him in the playoffs, should MI qualify. Ryan Rickelton is also available until the end of the league stage and will be replaced by Richard Gleeson.

Bevon Jacobs, Corbin Bosch (league stage), Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, Reece Topley and Mujeeb Ur Rahman are the other overseas players available, according to ESPNcricinfo.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Ryan Rickelton (OS, wk), 2. Rohit Sharma, 3. Will Jacks (OS), 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Hardik Pandya (c), 7. Naman Dhir, 8. Corbin Bosch/Ashwani Kumar, 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Trent Boult (OS), 11. Jasprit Bumrah, 12. Karn Sharma

DC could stick with the same team, but changes to their bowling attack is a possibility after going wicketless against GT. Also, DC may consider Karun Nair who smashed 89 off 40 balls against MI earlier this season.

Delhi Capitals: 1. KL Rahul, 2. Faf du Plessis (OS), 3. Abishek Porel (wk), 4. Tristan Stubbs (OS), 5. Axar Patel (c), 6. Sameer Rizvi/Karun Nair, 7. Ashutosh Sharma, 8. Vipraj Nigam, 9. T Natarajan, 10. Kuldeep Yadav, 11. Mustafizur Rahman/Mukesh Kumar, 12. Dushmantha Chameera (OS)

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Pitch Report and Weather

The Wankhede has mostly been favourable to batting in IPL 2025, although the last match between MI and GT on 7th May had assistance for the bowlers. The average first innings score on this ground this season is 174 and the chasing team has four of six matches.

Pacers have taken 56 wickets at Wankhede this season, compared to just 16 for the spinners.

There is rain around in Mumbai, but AccuWeather forecasts cloudy weather on Wednesday night with a top of 29 degrees during the match.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for MI vs DC: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • KL Rahul is coming off a century against GT (112* off 65 balls). Also, he has a fine record at the Wankhede Stadium (14 inns, 729 runs, avg. 60.75, SR 147.57) plus good head-to-head numbers against Bumrah, Hardik, Chahar and Boult (see below).

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Spinners have had it tough at the Wankhede this season, but Axar Patel remains a top fantasy pick. The DC captain occupies a key position in the batting lineup.
  • Hardik Pandya has taken just three wickets in his past seven games. Also, batting opportunities have been limited at times. But, Pandya enjoys the big games.
  • Will Jacks can be an excellent pick as he bats in the top three and DC have left-handers he can target with his offspin. His last four scores read: 36, 22, 29 and 53.

Key bowler picks:

  • Jasprit Bumrah has taken nine wickets at the Wankhede this season at an average of 12.89 and incredible economy of 5.80. He will be key in all stages of the innings once again, especially with his dominant record against Axar Patel (52 balls, 53 runs, four wickets).
  • Trent Boult also has nine wickets at the Wankhede in IPL 2025 (avg. 21.56, SR 16.00). Also, nine of his 18 wickets overall have come between overs 16-20.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Tristan Stubbs has been solid this season but his batting position is a topic of debate. If he bats at four, he can be a gamechanger for fantasy cricket. When batting first this season, Stubbs has scored 185 runs (avg. 48.9, SR 162.9) compared to 95 runs batting second (avg. 31.7, SR 143.9).
  • Faf du Plessis has been struggling for rhythm. But, Wankhede is a ground he enjoys: 21 inns, 759 runs, avg. 44.65, SR 133.86.
  • Tilak Varma struck a 33-ball 59 against DC earlier this season.
  • Abishek Porel has five 25+ scores in his past eight innings.

Other Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 36, MI 20, DC 16.
  • Hardik Pandya has fared better batting second (102 runs, avg. 25.5, SR 178.9) than batting first (56 runs, avg. 18.7, SR 151.4) this season.
  • Deepak Chahar at Wankhede Stadium in IPL 2025: 6 matches, 4 wickets, econ. 10.94.
