SL vs SA 3rd ODI Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

SL vs SA 3rd ODI Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | SL vs SA 3rd ODI Dream11 Prediction Today | Sri Lanka vs South Africa 3rd ODI Key Players | Colombo Pitch Report

After showing promising signs in recent matches, old habits came back to haunt Sri Lanka in Sunday’s second ODI. Horrendous fielding preceded an early batting collapse, of which they were never able to recover from despite Charith Asalanka’s best efforts.

In the process, South Africa leveled the series at 1-1 and picked up crucial ODI Super League points. Janneman Malan continued his magnificent start to his ODI career, picking up his third century in just his eighth innings, setting the platform for the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and co. to play with freedom.

Also, the form of Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi in particular is cause for optimism in the Proteas’ camp. Sri Lanka will have to find a way to overcome their threat, with the likes of Avishka Fernando crucial to their hopes on a surface expected to have some bounce again and suit spin, too.

Should the weather be kind, fans will witness what should be an interesting decider to this three-match series. Neither team has won an ODI series in the last 18 months, so both will be desperate to end that drought here.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Sri Lanka:

  • Avishka Fernando’s low score in the second ODI was a blow for Sri Lanka. The in-form opener will be key here on a ground he enjoys batting at (8 inns, 380 runs, avg. 47.50). He scored a century in the opening ODI of the series, after scores of 50 (71) and 76 (98) vs India.
  • Charith Asalanka’s promising form continued. He was Sri Lanka’s shining light in the second ODI. Also, he now has scored three fifties in his last four ODIs, including two in a row in this series (65, 24, 72 and 77).
  • Can Dhananjaya de Silva impact this match. No current Sri Lankan player has more runs for South Africa in ODIs than de Silva (353, avg. 23.53), but will be aiming to build on his starts this series (44 and 12). He also has nine wickets vs the Proteas.
  • Wanindu Hasaranga has made two scores of three in this series, and is conceding 5.75 an over for just two wickets. He has scored three half centuries in ODIs in 2021, but will also be looking to build on his 10 wickets in 13 matches this year. Big game for him.
  • Chamika Karunaratne has made scores of 43*, 44* and 36 in his last five ODIs. He also bowled with good intent in the second ODI, taking 2/24 in five overs. Sri Lanka may look to utilise him more with the ball in this crucial match.
  • Dushmantha Chameera has been expensive in this series (7.64). He remains key given how well he has bowled in 2021 (33 wickets in 22 white-ball internationals).
  • It was a poor second ODI for Akila Dananjaya (0/46 off 7). However, if picked, he remains a factor given his record at this ground in ODIs (9 inns, 19 wickets, avg. 21.21).

South Africa:

  • Janneman Malan now has three centuries in eight ODI innings. His 121 in the second ODI set the platform for the Proteas, and he will be looking to do the same. He is averaging 104.50 with the bat.
  • Aiden Markram was looking in good touch in the second ODI (21) before edging a delivery to the keeper out of nowhere. He scored 96 in the first ODI, and is showing marked signs of improvement since his 2018 tour of Sri Lanka (23 runs in that series, avg. 7.66).
  • Reeza Hendricks will be aiming to build on his fluent half-century (51 off 54 balls). Rassie van der Dussen will also be key, and comes into the match off the back of two starts (59 and 16). He is averaging 69.59 in 22 ODI innings (1,044 runs).
  • The second ODI was home to some of Kagiso Rabada’s best form. The pacer extracted fine pace and bounce, and will be looking to do the same here if he is fit after an ankle injury concern. He has 27 wickets in 17 ODIs vs Sri Lanka at an average of 26.62.
  • Back Tabraiz Shamsi to be in the wickets once again if the batsmen aim to go after him. He is coming off 5/49 in the second ODI.

Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 78, Sri Lanka 32, South Africa 45, 1 tie, 1 N/R.
  • Neither team has won an ODI series in the past 18 months.
  • Sri Lanka have not won an ODI series vs South Africa since 2013. This is the fifth ODI series between the two teams since then.

Possible Playing 11

Kamindu Mendis or Dinesh Chandimal could replace the out of form Bhanuka Rajapaksa.

Sri Lanka: 1. Avishka Fernando, 2. Minod Bhanuka (wk), 3. Bhanuka Rajapaksa/Kamindu Mendis/Dinesh Chandimal, 4. Dhananjaya de Silva, 5. Charith Asalanka, 6. Dasun Shanaka (c), 7. Wanindu Hasaranga, 8. Chamika Karunaratne, 9. Akila Dananjaya, 10. Dushmantha Chameera, 11. Praveen Jayawickrama

Kagiso Rabada is being treated for an ankle sprain. According to reports, he is progressing well. However, if he is out, Anrich Nortje is likely to slot back in.

South Africa:  1. Aiden Markram, 2. Janneman Malan, 3. Reeza Hendricks, 4. Rassie van der Dussen, 5. Heinrich Klaasen (wk), 6. Wiaan Mulder, 7. George Linde, 8. Andile Phehlukwayo, 9. Keshav Maharaj (c), 10. Kagiso Rabada, 11. Tabraiz Shamsi

R Premadasa Stadium Colombo Pitch Report and Weather

The surface has been a sporting one so far this series, offering assistance to bowlers and batsmen alike. Turn has been available for the spinners, while the seamers have been able to extract some bounce. Also, the team batting first has won both ODIs this series after the chasing team won all ODIs in the India series.

Again, rain is forecast in Colombo. There may be some interruptions.

Team batting first to win again? That is a definite possibility given the inconsistency in both lineups. A score of 270+ will be a competitive one batting first.

UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players

UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players | Players who will be missed heavily by their teams in the UAE leg of IPL 2021

The second phase of IPL 2021 is all set to commence, and most teams have their personnel changed from what they had during the first half of the tournament held in April/May.

So, teams like Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were forced to make a couple of changes to their team ahead of the restart of this years’ IPL in the UAE.

Some of the players missing out may have a huge bearing on their respective teams’ chances in the tournament going further. We will name a few whose absence will be felt by their team.

6 players who will be sorely missed in the UAE leg of IPL 2021:

Jos Buttler – Rajasthan Royals

England wicket-keeper Jos Buttler, who was expected to represent the Rajasthan Royals, has pulled out of the tournament citing personal reasons. He is one of their premier batters in the line-up, and had scored 254 runs in seven games before the tournament was halted. This included a century.

The Royals have roped in Glenn Phillips as Buttler’s replacement, but the latter will be missed by the Royals.

Washington Sundar – Royal Challengers Bangalore

UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players | Players who will be missed heavily by their teams in the UAE leg of IPL 2021
UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players – Washington Sundar

Washington Sundar was ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2021 due to a finger injury sustained during a practice game in England in July. As the injury is expected to keep him out for some more time, Sundar will not be part of the RCB squad in UAE. Virat Kohli’s team will surely miss Sundar’s accuracy, particularly in the powerplay overs.

Jofra Archer – Rajasthan Royals

UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players | Players who will be missed heavily by their teams in the UAE leg of IPL 2021
UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players – Jofra Archer

The England pacer missed out on the first half of the IPL, and will not take part in the UAE-leg as well due to recurrence of his elbow injury which will keep him out of action for rest of the year. Tabraiz Shamsi was chosen as the player to replace the pace bowler in the RR squad.

Archer was the league’s MVP in 2020, and often carried the Royals’ bowling. Rajasthan struggled with the ball at times in the first leg of IPL 2021, so eyes will be on how they handle life without him.

Ben Stokes – Rajasthan Royals

Another England-cum-Royals player features in the list of those cricketers who will be missed heavily by their teams. The England all-rounder Ben Stokes played a game for the Royals in the first part of IPL but fractured his finger which ruled him out of the tournament. Having recovered, he took indefinite time off from cricket citing mental reasons.

Evin Lewis, the hard-hitting West Indies opener has been appointed as the replacement for this multi-dimensional cricketer Ben Stokes.

Pat Cummins – Kolkata Knight Riders

UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players | Players who will be missed heavily by their teams in the UAE leg of IPL 2021
UAE IPL 2021: Why these teams will sorely miss these 6 players – Pat Cummins

The Aussie pacer was one of the first players to opt out of the UAE leg of IPL due to personal reasons. KKR are in trouble after an inconsistent first half of the IPL, and Pat Cummins’ absence leaves a huge void in their team. He was one of their star performers in what was a disappointing start for the team.

New Zealand pacer Tim Southee will join the team in his place for the rest of the tournament.

Jhye Richardson – Punjab Kings

Though not a big name like the rest of the others mentioned in the list, this young fast bowler from Australia is one for the future. He only played in 3 of the PBKS’ games in the first half of the IPL but his Big Bash League exploits made him a sought out player in IPL by few of the teams.

Twitter reactions to Bangladesh all out for 76

Twitter reactions to Bangladesh all out for 76 | Twitter reactions to Bangladesh getting all-out for 76 in the 3rd T20I against New Zealand

Just a few days after rolling New Zealand for 60, Bangladesh were handed a bit of a taste of their own medicine. The Black Caps returned serve, knocking over the home side for 76 to seal a convincing 52-run victory to keep the series alive.

Tom Latham’s team came into the game after pushing Bangladesh all the way in the second T20I. However, they found themselves in trouble once again at 62/5. But, Henry Nicholls (36*) and Tom Blundell (30*) highlighted New Zealand’s fight as they fought their way to a defendable 128/5.

Thereafter, Bangladesh were never in the hunt. Led by player of the match Ajaz Patel, New Zealand’s spinners ran riot to leave the home side reeling. On another slow, low pitch, Bangladesh struggled badly, with none of their batsmen finding any rythym as they were bowled out for 76 in 19.4 overs.

Ajaz Patel produced the goods with 4/16. He spoke about how nice it is for spinners to operate in such conditions.

I think as a spinner you thrive on conditions like this. It was nice to get a few up at the top and our spinners collectively did a good job,” said Patel in the post-match presentation.

“I think both Cole and Rachin bowled brilliantly and we identified what ball was the hardest to play on this surface. We know these conditions may not be necessarily easy, but overall it was a good bowling effort. Yeah, Dan gave me clarity about what more these conditions can offer you.”

CPL 2021 Match 18: TKR vs JAM Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

CPL 2021 Match 18: TKR vs JAM Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | TKR vs JAM Dream11 Prediction Today | Trinbago Knight Riders vs Jamaica Tallawahs Key Players | St Kitts Pitch Report

Having won just two out of their first five games, Trinbago Knight Riders have endured a poor campaign thus far and they will be looking to get their season back on track when they lock horns with Jamaica Tallawahs.

They will come into this game on the back of a disappointing defeat against Guyana Amazon Warriors where they failed to chase down six runs in the Super Over. Tallawahs, on the other hand, have had a middling campaign thus far with two wins and as many defeats after four outings. They will come into this game on the back of a six-wicket defeat at the hands of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots where they failed to defend 166.

So, it’s an important match for both sides in the quest for consistency in the second-half of CPL 2021.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Trinbago Knight Riders:

  • Tim Seifert: The New Zealand batsman is the 2nd highest run-getter for TKR thus far. In 5 innings he managed 119 runs at an average of 29.75. But, his strike rate of 107.25 has left a lot to be desired and TKR will hope that he makes an improvement in that regard.
  • Seifert has played just one innings against Jamaica in which he scored 18.
  • Colin Munro: He has struggled for runs in the tournament thus far, having managed just 94 runs in 5 innings at 23.50. Munro loves batting against Jamaica. In 10 innings, he has scored 515 runs at an average of 64.38 and a strike rate of 142.37.
  • Kieron Pollard: With 123 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 130.85, Pollard’s been TKR’s best batsman this season.
  • He too loves batting against Jamaica. In 15 innings, he has racked up 413 runs at an average of 41.30 and strike rate of 163.89.
  • Sunil Narine: The champion off-spinner has been brilliant this season. In 6 innings he has claimed six wickets at 16.50 and a barely believable economy rate of 4.9. Narine was sensational in the last game as he registered figures of 2/9 in four overs besides giving away just six in the Super Over.
  • Ravi Rampaul: The veteran pacer is the leading wicket-taker for TKR thus far. In 5 innings he has taken 13 wickets at 10.84.

Jamaica Tallawahs:

  • Kennar Lewis: The opener has endured a brilliant outing in CPL 2021 thus far. He is the leading run-getter for Jamaica so far: 160 runs in 4 innings at an average of 40 and a strike rate of 175.82.
  • His record against TKR: 52 runs in two innings.
  • Shamarh Brooks: Apart from Lewie, Brooks has been a consistent performer for Jamaica this season. In 3 innings he has scored 108 runs at 54 and a strike rate of 128.57.
  • Andre Russell: The swashbuckling all-rounder has failed to light up the CPL after his record-breaking 14-ball 50 in the first game. Expect a big knock from the burly right-hander in the coming games.
  • Russell loves batting against TKR. In 16 innings, he has smashed 567 runs at an average of 51.55 and a strike rate of 189 which also includes a three-figure score.
  • Migael Pretorious: The seamer has been the pick of the bowlers for Jamaica this season. In 4 innings he has claimed 10 wickets at an average of 15.40

Stats and Facts

  • Both sides have met 19 times in CPL with TKR leading the ledger 10-9.
  • However, Jamaica Tallwahs have won both the games that these two sides have played at Warner Park.

Possible Playing XI

Trinbago Knight Riders: 1. Lendl Simmons, 2. Sunil Narine, 3. Tion Webster/Darren Bravo, 4. Colin Munro, 5. Tim Seifert, 6. Kieron Pollard (c), 7. Denesh Ramdin (wk), 8. Isuru Udana, 9. Akeal Hosein, 10. Khary Pierre, 11. Ravi Rampaul

Chadwick Walton injured his hamstring a few days ago. Kirk McKenzie could come in to open.

Jamaica Tallawahs: 1. Kirk McKenzie, 2. Kennar Lewis (wk), 3. Haider Ali, 4. Rovman Powell (c), 5. Shamarh Brooks, 6. Carlos Brathwaite, 7. Andre Russell, 8. Migael Pretorious, 9. Chris Green, 10. Joshua James/Veerasammy Permaul, 11. Fidel Edwards

Warner Park Basseterre St Kitts pitch report and weather conditions

The pitch has proved helpful for pacers but as has been evident in the last two games, there are plenty of runs on offer.

The average 1st innings score in the 8 games played on the fresh strip is 159.49.

What a way to break the streak. First, Faf du Plessis put behind a poor start to his CPL 2021 campaign in the best way possible with a breathtaking 120* to drive St Lucia Kings to 224/2. Secondly, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots suffered defeat for the first time this season, and in thumping fashion too by 100 runs.

So, what will the response be 24 hours later? To make the challenge that extra bit greater, Dwayne Bravo is all but set to be ruled out due to a groin strain, which is a big gap to fill for St Kitts. The bowling attack will be aiming to step up in his absence against a top order that put them to the sword yesterday, so it will be interesting to see how the previously undefeated St Kitts respond.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots:

  • Evin Lewis enjoys playing against St Lucia, and this was on show yesterday with his 42-ball 73. He has 366 runs against them at an average of 33.27, with a strike rate well above 160.
  • Can Chris Gayle find his top form? In 13 matches, Gayle has struck 406 runs vs St Lucia at an average of 50.75 and strike rate nearing 160. He scored just 14 yesterday.
  • Sherfane Rutherford scored three half-centuries in the first four games of CPL 2021, followed by scores of 1 and 11. He has just 67 runs in five innings vs St Lucia at an average of 13.4. Big game for him.
  • Fawad Ahmed was the only bowler to hold his own yesterday (1/23). He now has seven wickets in six matches vs St Lucia.
  • Sheldon Cottrell will be key in the absence of Bravo. He had a tough day yesterday (0/39 off three overs). He will be aiming to build on his five wickets in six matches vs St Lucia.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots:

  • What a return to form for Faf du Plessis. He had scored just 26 runs in his first four matches in CPL 2021, and had just 179 runs at an average/strike rate of 17.90/99.44 vs St Lucia before his outstanding 120* yesterday. He will be key again.
  • Roston Chase is in some outstanding form. He has smashed 85 and 64* in his last two matches. Also, he has been dismissed just once against St Kitts (5 inns, 130 runs, avg. 130), along with taking four wickets.
  • Andre Fletcher has the second-most runs in SKN-SLK matches, with 319 at an average of 29 and strike rate touching 130. He will be looking to build on yesterday’s start (23).
  • Tim David wasn’t needed yesterday. He has two low scores (0 and 15) since his superb knocks of 58 (29) and 44 (32) earlier in CPL 2021. He will be key in the finisher role for SLK.
  • Alzarri Joseph (3/27) and Keemo Paul (3/23) were the big wicket-takers yesterday. Paul has 13 wickets in nine matches vs St Kitts, and will be looking to add to that tally today.
  • Kesrick Williams has taken seven wickets in his last three matches (4/24, 2/7 and 1/23). He is a genuine wicket-taker in T20s, with 136 wickets in 104 matches. Also, he has 14 wickets in 10 matches against St Kitts.

Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 12, St Kitts 5, St Lucia 6, N/R 2.
  • St Lucia will move to within two points of St Kitts if they win today.
  • Dominic Drakes had an expensive outing yesterday (0/50). However, he showed promising form before that, and has seven wickets in six matches in CPL 2021.

Possible Playing 11

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots: 1. Evin Lewis, 2. Devon Thomas (wk), 3. Chris Gayle, 4. Ravi Bopara, 5. Sherfane Rutherford, 6. Fabian Allen, 7. Dominic Drakes, 8. Sheldon Cottrell, 9. Naseem Shah, 10. Paul van Meekeren, 11. Fawad Ahmed

St Lucia Kings: 1. Andre Fletcher (wk), 2. Faf du Plessis (c), 3. Keron Cottoy, 4. Roston Chase, 5. Tim David, 6. Samit Patel, 7. Keemo Paul, 8. Wahab Riaz, 9. Jeavor Royal, 10. Alzarri Joseph, 11. Kesrick Williams

Warner Park Basseterre St Kitts Pitch Report and Weather

Runs are on offer for batsmen willing to play the percentages. Faf du Plessis and Roston Chase set the template yesterday, and both sides will be looking to take advantage of the easy-paced surface and smaller boundaries. The team batting first has won nine of 15 matches in CPL 2021.

More clear and warm weather is forecast.

BAN vs NZ 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

BAN vs NZ 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | BAN vs NZ 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction | Bangladesh vs New Zealand 3rd T20I Key Players | Dhaka Pitch Report

After a one-sided first T20I, New Zealand sent a reminder of their depth and capabilities in the second, falling just short of an upset victory against a near full-strength Bangladesh side.

Tom Latham’s excellent 65* went in vain as the Black Caps fell agonisingly short of Bangladesh’s 141 – easily the highest first innings total across the Australia and New Zealand series to date. On another slow surface with signs of uneven bounce, the two captains – Mahmudullah and Latham – led the way with the bat to give this series a different dimension heading into the third match.

Despite the victory, Bangladesh were reminded that they might not have everything their own way. New Zealand will be looking to build on their promising showing in the second T20I, while Bangladesh will be seeking further improvement in their batting ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Bangladesh:

  • Shakib Al Hasan’s 2/29 was crucial after he gave his wicket away with the bat. He has scored double-figures in each of the last seven T20Is in difficult conditions (36, 26, 26, 15, 11, 25, 12), along with 11 wickets.
  • Mahmudullah is coming off a player of the match performance. No player has more T20I runs on this ground than the Bangladesh skipper, with 619 runs in 30 T20Is at an average of 44.21 and strike rate of 125.30. He is yet to be dismissed in this series (14* and 37*).
  • Can Mushfiqur Rahim bounce back after a golden duck in the second T20I? He averages just 19.42 in 28 T20Is on this ground, so he will be seeking an improvement.
  • Mustafizur Rahman will be seeking an improvement, too. His 0/34 in the second match was just his second wicketless outing in his last seven T20Is, and easily his most expensive. He has 91 wickets in 65 T20s on this ground.
  • Nasum Ahmed has taken 11 wickets in his last seven T20Is. His spin partner, Mahedi Hasan, was excellent in the second T20I with 2/12 in his four overs. Mahedi has taken three wickets in two matches so far this series.

New Zealand:

  • It was vital that Tom Latham bats up the order for New Zealand. His 65* off 49 balls gave the tourists a sniff of victory. The skipper will be key again in conditions that aid spin.
  • Rachin Ravindra’s all-round game will be key to New Zealand’s hopes. He is yet to fire with the bat, but his 3/21 with the ball indicates his wicket-taking potential in these conditions.
  • Ajaz Patel is conceding runs at just 3.37 runs per over this series (two wickets). He could be in for a big haul if Bangladesh’s batsmen look to go after him.
  • Cole McConchie also has two wickets to his name this series. He will also be key with the bat down the order, particularly with his ability to rotate strike as he showed in the second T20I (15* off 12 balls).
  • Will Young scored a half-century against Bangladesh earlier this year, and showed some resistance in the second match (22 off 27 balls). Can he find more fluency in this match?

Stats and Facts

  • Bangladesh have the opportunity to win their third-straight T20I series. They have never achieved this before.
  • Mahmudullah is set to become the first Bangladeshi – and eighth player overall – to play 100 T20Is.
  • Mahmudullah is also the most successful Bangladesh T20I skipper, with 12 wins.

Possible Playing 11

Bangladesh are likely to stick with the same XI, unless the look to play left-arm seamer Shoriful Islam.

Bangladesh: 1. Mohammad Naim, 2. Liton Das, 3. Shakib Al Hasan, 4. Mushfiqur Rahim, 5 Mahmudullah (c), 6 Nurul Hasan (wk), 7 Afif Hossain, 8 Mahedi Hasan, 9 Mohammad Saifuddin/Shoriful Islam, 10 Mustafizur Rahman, 11 Nasum Ahmed

Finn Allen and Matt Henry are both available for New Zealand, and could play today.

New Zealand: 1. Rachin Ravindra, 2. Tom Blundell/Finn Allen, 3. Tom Latham (c & wk), 4. Colin de Grandhomme, 5. Will Young, 6. Henry Nicholls, 7. Cole McConchie, 8. Doug Bracewell/Scott Kuggeleijn, 9. Ajaz Patel, 10. Hamish Bennett, 11. Ben Sears/Matt Henry

Shere Bangla Stadium Mirpur Dhaka Pitch Report

Bangladesh’s 141 and New Zealand’s 137 were the two highest scores in the last seven T20Is on this ground. The harder pitch offered more for the batsmen, although there was some uneven bounce and turn still available for the bowlers. The team batting first has won seven of the last 10 T20s on this ground.

There is a chance of rain in Mirpur during the match.

CPL 2021 Match 16: GUY vs BAR Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

CPL 2021 Match 16: GUY vs BAR Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | GUY vs BAR Dream11 Prediction Today | Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Barbados Royals 16th Match Key Players | St Kitts Pitch Report

Guyana Amazon Warriors will be looking to shrug off the scars of the 51-run shellacking that they received at the hands of St Lucia Kings in their previous fixture when they square off against Barbados Royals on Saturday.

Chasing 150, the Amazon Warriors were knocked over for a mere 98 with none of the batsmen barring skipper Nicholas Pooran (41 off 26 balls) and Odean Smith (31* off 18 balls) notching up double figures.

They will now lock horns with a struggling Barbados Royals unit which is currently languishing at the bottom of the points table. The Royals have managed a solitary win in their first five outings and they will come into this game on the back of a two-wicket defeat at the hands of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots where they failed to defend 8-160 in remarkable fashion.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Guyana Amazon Warriors

  • Nicholas Pooran: Pooran has been the most impactful batsman for the Warriors in CPL 2021 but the issue is that the southpaw is batting too low down the order. Even in the last game, Pooran scored a 26-ball 41 but he was left with too much to do in the end.
  • Pooran enjoys batting against the Barbados Royals. In 6 outings he has scored 115 runs at an average of 57.80 and a strike rate of 118.56.
  • Brandon King: He may have struggled for runs in CPL 2021 thus far (37 runs in 5 innings at 9.25), but it is fair to say that King relishes batting against Barbados.
  • King, with 278 runs at an average of 92.67 and a strike rate of 144.04, is the third highest run-scorer of all time in Guyana-Barbados CPL encounters.
  • Shoaib Malik: He is yet to light up CPL 2021 but just like Brandon King, the veteran all-rounder loves batting against Barbados. He has 364 runs at 45.50, which is the 2nd highest in Guyana-Barbados encounters and the Amazon Warrior fans will hope he turns back the clock in the next game.
  • Shimron Hetmyer: He is the leading run-scorer for Guyana this season but his side will be hoping for more consistency. In 5 innings, Hetmyer has managed 146 runs at an average of 29.20 with two 50+ scores but his strike rate of 111.45 has been underwhelming.
  • His record against Barbados: 116 runs in 8 innings at 16.57.
  • Odean Smith: He had a brilliant outing in the last game as he claimed three wickets besides chipping in with an unbeaten 18-ball 31.
  • Romario Shepherd: He claimed three wickets in the last game to take his tally to nine scalps in just three innings- the most by a Guyana Amazon bowler this season.
  • Shepherd loves bowling against Barbados. In six innings he has claimed 12 wickets at an average of 11.58.

Barbados Royals:

  • Glenn Phillips: The Kiwi international is the second-highest run-scorer for Barbados this season. In five innings he has scored 127 runs at 31.75 with one 50-plus score. The Royals will hope for another match-winning contribution from him in the next game.
  • Azam Khan: He is the leading run-scorer for Barbados this season. In five innings, Khan has racked up 129 runs and it has come at a healthy strike rate of 146.59.
  • He could only manage a 4-ball 8 in the last game and Barbados will hope he chips in with a big score against Guyana on Saturday.
  • Smit Patel: Patel announced himself in CPL 2021 with a half-century – a 48-ball 54 – in his maiden outing in the last game against St Kitts. He will, however, be looking to improve on his strike rate in the upcoming fixtures.
  • Johnson Charles: The opener scored two sixes and a couple of fours during his 26-ball 30 in the last game but he failed to kick on and convert it into a big score.
  • Charles’ record against Guyana is poor. In six games, he has managed a mere 94 runs at an average of 15.97 and a strike rate of 132.39.
  • Nyeem Young: The young right-arm seamer claimed three wickets in his last outing and the Barbadians will hope he carries his form in the next game.
  • Raymon Reifer: The left arm pacer is the 2nd highest wicket-taker for Barbados this season – five wickets in three innings at 18.40.
  • He claimed two wickets in the last game against St Kitts. Reiffer loves bowling against Guyana. In nine innings, he has claimed 15 wickets at an economy rate of 7.12.

Stats and Facts

  • Both sides have met 17 times in CPL with Guyana leading the ledger 12-5.
  • However, Barbados Royals have won the sole encounter that these two sides have played at Warner Park.

As far as the weather is concerned,  it is expected to be bright and sunny with temperatures fluctuating between 25-31 degree Celsius. Humidity is set to hover around 70%.

CPL 2021 Match 15: SLK vs SKN Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | SLK vs SKN Dream11 Prediction Today | St Lucia Kings vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots Key Players | St Kitts Pitch Report

It’s been a season of the houdini for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. They are five wins from five in CPL 2021, but they have been in difficult positions on numerous occasions.

None more so than their last encounter against the Royals. 106/6 after 16 overs chasing 161, the game looked all but over until Dominic Drakes and player of the match Sheldon Cottrell pulled off some stunning late hitting, including a six off the final ball to seal victory. This is after Sherfane Rutherford produced the goods in the three of the previous four matches, leaving last season’s wooden spooners sitting very pretty atop the CPL 2021 table.

Today, they meet last year’s finalists St Lucia Kings in an important match for Faf du Plessis’ men. Roston Chase led the way as the Kings got their season on track with a big 51-run win over Guyana, courtesy also of effective bowling. They will arguably have to be even more effective against the seemingly endless batting SKN lineup, which makes for an exciting contest.

This will be the first meeting between these two sides in CPL 2021.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

St Lucia Kings:

  • Roston Chase has struck scores of 30* and 85 in his last three matches. Also, Chase is yet to go wicketless in CPL 2021 (2/33, 1/17, 1/25, 1/16). Also, Chase has only been dismissed once in four games vs St Kitts, with 69 runs to his name along with three wickets.
  • Andre Fletcher has the most runs in SKN-SLK matches. He has hit 296 runs in 11 matches at an average/strike rate of 29.60/130.40. He scored 81* two games ago vs champions TKR.
  • Tim David has two low scores (0 and 15) since his superb knocks of 58 (29) and 44 (32) earlier in CPL 2021. He will be key in the finisher role for SLK.
  • Kesrick Williams has taken six wickets in his last two matches (4/24 and 2/7). He is a genuine wicket-taker in T20s, with 135 wickets in 103 matches. Also, he has 13 wickets in nine matches against St Kitts.
  • Obed McCoy is back and he will be looking to continue on from his wonderful series against Australia recently. He is coming off 2/19 against Guyana in his last match.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots

  • Sherfane Rutherford had his off day two days ago, scoring just one. However, he remains the top run-scorer in CPL 2021, with 176 runs in five matches at an average/strike rate of 58.66/144.26. This includes three half-centuries.
  • Can Rutherford overcome a sub-par record vs St. Lucia? It reads: 4 inns, 56 runs, avg. 18.67, SR 114.29.
  • Evin Lewis has the most runs of any St Kitts player against St Lucia. His 293 runs come at an average of 29.30 and superb strike rate of 161.88. Also, Lewis has the third-most runs in CPL 2021 so far, with 156 at an average/strike rate of 31.20/138.05.
  • Chris Gayle has a magnificent record against St Lucia. In 12 matches, Gayle has struck 392 runs at an average of 56.00 and strike rate of 160.66. Can he rediscover this kind of form after spending some time at the crease two days ago? (42 off 39 balls)
  • Dwayne Bravo has 23 wickets to his name in 15 matches against St Lucia. Also, he has eight wickets in five matches in CPL 2021.
  • Sheldon Cottrell is coming off a superb batting performance, but can he influence the match with the ball? He has five wickets in five games for St Kitts vs St Lucia.
  • Dominic Drakes has the third-most wickets in CPL 2021, with seven wickets in five games.

Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 12, St Kitts 5, St Lucia 5, N/R 2.
  • St Lucia won both matches against St Kitts in 2020, but this is a very different St Kitts this season.
  • Faf du Plessis is yet to fire in CPL 2021. He has struck just 26 runs in four matches. Also, he has struggled in the past vs St Kitts, with 179 runs at an average/strike rate of 17.90/99.44. Can he turn these numbers around?

Possible Playing 11

St Lucia Kings: 1. Andre Fletcher (wk), 2. Faf du Plessis (c), 3. Mark Deyal, 4. Roston Chase, 5. Tim David, 6. Samit Patel, 7. Keron Cottoy, 8. Jeavor Royal, 9. Alzarri Joseph, 10. Obed McCoy, 11. Kesrick Williams

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots: 1. Evin Lewis, 2. Devon Thomas (wk), 3. Chris Gayle, 4. Ravi Bopara, 5. Sherfane Rutherford, 6. Fabian Allen, 7. Dwayne Bravo, 8. Dominic Drakes, 9. Sheldon Cottrell, 10. Naseem Shah, 11. Paul van Meekeren

Warner Park Basseterre St Kitts Pitch Report and Weather

A new pitch is expected after a day’s break in CPL 2021. The team batting first has won eight of 14 matches in CPL 2021, with an average first innings score of 160.43. A score in that region here is likely to be a competitive one.

The forecast is for clear and warm weather in St. Kitts.

SL vs SA 2nd ODI Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

SL vs SA 2nd ODI Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | SL vs SA 2nd ODI Dream11 Prediction Today | Sri Lanka vs South Africa 2nd ODI Key Players | Colombo Pitch Report

Sri Lanka’s promising recent form continued with victory in the first ODI, fighting back from positions of distress to pick up important ODI Super League points. Avishka Fernando picked up his third ODI hundred, Charith Asalanka continued his promising start to international cricket and the spinners held their own to limit South Africa to 286/6.

Aiden Markram looked in superb touch, but the all-too-familiar middle order frailties came to the fore once again for the Proteas. They fell away at the crucial backend overs with both bat and ball, which puts the onus on their senior players to stand up, especially as skipper Temba Bavuma is out with a fractured thumb.

With the win in the first ODI, Sri Lanka have moved up to eighth in the ODI Super League table. South Africa are languishing in 11th with just two wins in six completed ODIs, and will need to get moving here to ensure they don’t fall too far behind. Crucial match.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Sri Lanka:

  • Avishka Fernando is in outstanding touch. His focus on fitness is paying off, with scores of 50 (71), 76 (98) and 118 (115) in his last three ODIs. Also, he really enjoys batting on this ground, with 372 runs in seven ODIs at an average of 53.14 and strike rate of 88.36.
  • What a promising start to Charith Asalanka’s career. He has provided some important impetus in Sri Lanka’s middle order, with scores of 38, 65, 24 and 72 in his last four ODIs. Key player.
  • Dhanajaya de Silva’s experience came to the fore in the first ODI. His 44 helped set up a platform, while his 0/35 in eight overs kept South Africa in check. He has the most runs vs SA out of any current SL squad member (341 in 14 ODIs, avg. 24.35).
  • Akila Dananjaya was expensive in the first ODI, but his two wickets were crucial in the final result. He has taken 19 wickets in eight ODIs on this ground at an average of 18.78. Also, he took 14 wickets in five ODIs vs South Africa in 2018 (avg. 17.85).
  • It wasn’t the most prolific match for Wanindu Hasaranga in the first ODI (3 and 1/52). However, no opponent can ignore the threat he provides, especially as the conditions will continue to aid spin. He won player of the T20I series against India recently.
  • Dushmantha Chameera has taken 30 wickets in 21 white-ball internationals this year, and will be looking to improve on his 0/55 in the first ODI.

South Africa:

  • Aiden Markram had a poor tour to Sri Lanka in 2018 (23 runs, avg. 7.66). However, he put that well behind him with a classy 90-ball 96 in the first ODI. He will be key again, not only with the bat but with the ball too on a pitch that is expected to provide more turn.
  • Rassie van der Dussen averages 73.42 in 27 ODIs (1,028 runs), and is coming off a typically classy run-a-ball 59 in the first ODI. He will be key in the absence of Bavuma, Quinton de Kock and David Miller.
  • Janneman Malan is averaging 101.20 in seven ODI innings. He recently scored 177* in Ireland, and was looking in decent form in the first ODI before falling plumb LBW to Hasaranga. He will be key in setting up a platform for the Proteas.
  • Keshav Maharaj was the pick of the Proteas bowlers in the first ODI (2/30 in 10 overs). He enjoys bowling in Sri Lanka, as his Test exploits showed in 2018. He and Tabraiz Shamsi will be key in these conditions.
  • Onus will be on Kagiso Rabada after an expensive outing in the first ODI (2/66 in nine overs). He has 25 wickets in 16 ODIs vs Sri Lanka (avg. 28.12), including six scalps in four matches in Sri Lanka in 2018 (avg. 28.33).

Stats and Facts

  • Head-to-head: Matches 78, Sri Lanka 32, South Africa 44, 1 tie, 1 N/R.
  • Sri Lanka have won their last two ODIs. This is the first time they have won consecutive ODIs after beating West Indies 3-0 in February/March 2020.
  • Sri Lanka have not won an ODI series vs South Africa since 2013. This is the fifth ODI series between the two teams since then.

Possible Playing 11

Sri Lanka are likely to go into this match with the same winning combination.

Sri Lanka: 1. Avishka Fernando, 2. Minod Bhanuka (wk), 3. Bhanuka Rajapaksa, 4. Dhananjaya de Silva, 5. Charith Asalanka, 6. Dasun Shanaka (c), 7. Wanindu Hasaranga, 8. Chamika Karunaratne, 9. Akila Dananjaya, 10. Dushmantha Chameera, 11. Praveen Jayawickrama

Temba Bavuma is out with a fractured finger, with Keshav Maharaj to lead the team. Reeza Hendricks looks set to replace him. Also, the Proteas could look at playing George Linde in conditions that suit spin.

South Africa: 1. Janneman Malan, 2. Aiden Markram, 3. Reeza Hendricks, 4. Rassie van der Dussen, 5. Heinrich Klaasen (wk), 6. Kyle Verreynne, 7. George Linde/Andile Phehlukwayo, 8. Keshav Maharaj (c), 9. Kagiso Rabada, 10. Anrich Nortje, 11. Tabraiz Shamsi

R Premadasa Stadium Colombo Pitch Report and Weather

The chasing team won all three ODIs in Sri Lanka’s recent series vs India. However, Sri Lanka bucked that trend with a solid score of 300 in the first ODI. Spin and slower balls will be on the menu again on what is set to be a slow surface.

There is a chance of rain and thunderstorms which can interrupt the match.

BAN vs NZ 2nd T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report

BAN vs NZ 2nd T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible Playing 11 Pitch Report | BAN vs NZ 2nd T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | Bangladesh vs New Zealand 2nd T20I Key Players | Dhaka Pitch Report

For the second time in a matter of weeks, Bangladesh have created history. Not only did they beat Australia for the first time and reduce them to their lowest-ever T20I score, the Tigers then did the same to New Zealand.

Never before had Bangladesh beaten the Black Caps in a T20I. Only once before have New Zealand scored 60 all-out in their T20I history. The pitch makes for plenty of discussion, but better planning and execution is required on the part of the batsmen.

These aren’t conditions for strokeplay. Rather, it is a grind. Any score in the region of 110-120 will be a mighty difficult chase, given the fact that the Bangladeshis also struggled to get going. For Bangladesh, it is important for their batsmen to find some rhythm ahead of the T20 World Cup, while for New Zealand, it is a chance to improve on a very difficult outing two days ago.

In a boost, talented batsman Finn Allen has rejoined the bubble after testing negative to COVID-19. How he – a free-flowing strokeplayer – copes in such conditions will be interesting to see, should he be available.

Key Players to Watch/Key Stats

Bangladesh:

  • Shakib Al Hasan, player of the series vs Australia and player of the match two days ago, will be key as always. He has scored double-figures in each of his last six innings on difficult surfaces (36, 26, 26, 15, 11, 25), along with taking nine wickets.
  • Mustafizur Rahman’s wicket-taking form continues. His slower balls are mighty difficult to handle in such conditions, as he took 3/13 in his latest outing. He now has 91 wickets in 64 T20s on this ground.
  • Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah will be key in the middle order. Mushfiqur has scored 66 runs in two innings (avg. 66) vs NZ in home T20Is, while no player has more runs on this ground than Mahmudullah (582, avg. 41.57, SR 125.97).
  • Afif Hossain was impressive in the recent series against Australia. Afif had the highest strike rate of any player (122.47) who scored at least 50 runs, in what were difficult batting conditions. Key finisher.
  • Nasum Ahmed has taken 10 wickets in his last six T20Is. Accurate spinners like Nasum and Mehedi Hasan are difficult to counter in such conditions.

New Zealand:

  • Will the Black Caps open with Tom Latham or Henry Nicholls this time? These two were the only NZ players to reach double figures two days ago, and will be key today given their capabilities vs spin.
  • Will Young scored a half-century against Bangladesh earlier this year, but these are completely different conditions to home. He has adjusted well to international cricket so far, so he and NZ will be hoping for greater resistance today.
  • Finn Allen, if cleared to play, could prove to be a big asset for New Zealand. The hard-hitting right-hander has the ability to change the game; something similar to what Dan Christian did in the 4th T20I against Bangladesh recently (hitting 30 off one over).
  • The New Zealand spinners will undoubtedly be key. Ajaz Patel (1/7 in four overs), Cole McConchie (1/19 in four overs) and Rachin Ravindra (1/21 in four overs) took all the three Bangladeshi wickets to fall.
  • Do New Zealand look to play Scott Kuggeleijn? He has experience and success bowling on slow surfaces (top wicket-taker in CPL 2020 with 17 in 11 matches).

Stats and Facts

  • Bangladesh’s spinners took a combined 5/30 in 10 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman took the other five wickets.
  • New Zealand’s spinners took a combined 3/37 in 12 overs. Spin to win again.
  • Bangladesh’s win in the first T20I was the first ever against New Zealand.

BAN vs NZ 2nd T20 Possible Playing 11

Bangladesh should look to stick with the same team, with attention on the openers.

Bangladesh: 1. Mohammad Naim, 2. Liton Das, 3. Shakib Al Hasan, 4. Mushfiqur Rahim, 5 Mahmudullah (c), 6 Nurul Hasan (wk), 7 Afif Hossain, 8 Mahedi Hasan, 9 Mohammad Saifuddin, 10 Mustafizur Rahman, 11 Nasum Ahmed

New Zealand could look to play Finn Allen, if he’s ready. Also, the likes of Scott Kuggeleijn and Hamish Bennett are available for selection.

New Zealand: 1. Rachin Ravindra, 2. Tom Blundell/Finn Allen, 3. Will Young, 4. Colin de Grandhomme, 5. Tom Latham (c & wk), 6 Henry Nicholls, 7. Cole McConchie, 8. Doug Bracewell/Scott Kuggeleijn, 9. Ajaz Patel, 10. Blair Tickner, 11. Jacob Duffy

Shere Bangla National Stadium Mirpur Dhaka Pitch Report and Weather

Expect more of the same that we’ve seen in the last six T20Is on this ground. Conditions will be slow, low and suit the spinners once again. There will rarely be a full-pace delivery from the seamers. Also, the team batting first has won six of the last nine T20s here, and any score in the region of 110-120 will be huge.

There is a chance of thunderstorms during the game, which can interrupt proceedings.
