KKR vs CSK Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 57th Match

Two of the most successful teams meet in the 57th match of IPL 2025. However, season 18 has been anything but successful for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who sit bottom with just two wins from 11 matches. Their worst defeat came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a listless, awful display back on April 11.

But, CSK have had some positives since then. The emergence of 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre has been the shining light in a dark season, while Dewald Brevis has added some much-needed punch in the middle order.

The bowling attack has had its moments, but whether they can hold their own for the entire 20 overs remains to be seen.

For KKR, they are still well in contention for the playoffs, currently three points outside the top four with SRH to come next. However, as the Royals showed on the weekend, teams with nothing to lose can be dangerous, so KKR can ill-afford to be complacent here.

On the batting front, KKR will be after a quick start and Ajinkya Rahane is seeking an improvement against spin. If they set a platform, they have the finishers to cause great damage. Speaking of spin, Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy will surely be keen to get to work against a CSK side that has had its batting troubles through season 2025.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Eden Gardens Kolkata pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 57th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 57th Match: KKR vs CSK Possible Playing XIIs

Rinku Singh pulled up with what seemed to be a muscle injury in the late stages of KKR’s thrilling one-run win over RR. If he misses out, Rovman Powell could come in with a domestic player to come in for Moeen Ali.

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 2. Sunil Narine, 3. Ajinkya Rahane (c), 4. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, 5. Venkatesh Iyer, 6. Andre Russell, 7. Ramandeep Singh, 8. Rovman Powell/Rinku Singh, 9. Moeen Ali/Anukul Roy, 10. Vaibhav Arora, 11. Varun Chakravarthy, 11. Harshit Rana

CSK could stick with the same team that came to close to victory against RCB. Khaleel Ahmed was very expensive, but he has been relatively solid in the powerplay this season.

Chennai Super Kings: 1. Ayush Mhatre, 2. Shaik Rasheed, 3. Sam Curran, 4. Ravindra Jadeja, 5. Dewald Brevis, 6. Shivam Dube, 7. MS Dhoni (c & wk), 8. Deepak Hooda, 9. Noor Ahmad, 10. Khaleel Ahmed, 11. Matheesha Pathirana, 12. Anshul Kamboj

Eden Gardens Kolkata Pitch Report and Weather

The last five first innings totals on this ground read: 200/6, 238/3, 198/3, 201/4 and 206/4. The team batting first has won four of the five completed matches at Eden Gardens, so there may be the temptation to bat first here despite the possibility of dew.

Pace bowlers have taken 35 wickets at Kolkata this season. Spinners have taken 23.

Another hot day is forecast with a chance of some thunderstorms during the day. However, conditions are expected to be clear in time for the match according to AccuWeather.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs CSK: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Rahmanullah Gurbaz offers the most potential for fantasy points as he opens the batting. He has made scores of 26 (12) and 35 (25) in his past two knocks.

Key batter picks:

  • 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre put on a show against RCB, smashing a memorable 94 off 48 balls. He was excellent against both pace and spin.
  • Angkrish Raghuvanshi has looked solid at number four this season. He has made consecutive scores of 44 and has an overall average of 40.71 this season with a strike rate of 146.15 (285 runs).
  • Ajinkya Rahane is KKR’s leading run scorer this season with 327 at an average of 36.33 and strike rate of 146.63. The KKR skipper has been outstanding against pace this season with 209 runs at an average of 104.5 and strike rate of 174.2. Against spin, he’s struggled, with 109 runs at an average of 18.2 and strike rate of 114.7.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Sunil Narine blew CSK away earlier this season. He took 3/13 and smashed 44 off 18 balls. Given CSK’s struggles against spin, Narine is a leading Dream11 captaincy option.
  • Ravindra Jadeja continues to bat at four. He has made two half-centuries in his past four innings. Also, he averages over 40 with the bat and has 22 wickets in 25 matches against KKR.
  • Andre Russell is a solid fantasy pick especially if KKR bats first, as he showed in his 25-ball 57* vs RR. Against CSK, Russell has smashed 365 runs at an average of 40.56 and strike rate of 172.99. He is also useful for an over or two at the death.

Key bowler picks:

  • Varun Chakravarthy is KKR’s top wicket-taker this season with 15. Seven of those have come at Eden Gardens at a strike rate of 20.57.
  • Harshit Rana was excellent at the death against RR. Six of his 13 wickets this season have come between overs 16 and 20.
  • Noor Ahmad is CSK’s top wicket-taker this season (15) and will look to target some of KKR’s weaknesses against spin, including Rahane.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Dewald Brevis was unlucky against RCB, but he is in fine form in T20s this year. He is striking at 142.30 so far in IPL 2025.
  • Sam Curran also offers fantasy value as he bats at three. He hit 88 two games ago.
  • Shivam Dube can be a good differential pick as a spin-hitter, but it is a risk given his batting position is not set.

Stats and Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 33, KKR 12, CSK 20, N/R 1.
  • Sunil Narine at Eden Gardens in IPL 2025: 6 inns, 2 wickets, avg. 96.50, SR 69.00.
  • Khaleel Ahmed vs Sunil Narine: 23 balls, 44 runs, two wickets.
  • Khaleel Ahmed vs Ajinkya Rahane: 17 balls, 17 runs, one wicket.
  • Ravindra Jadeja vs Ajinkya Rahane: 37 balls, 36 runs, one wicket.
  • Varun Chakravarthy vs Shivam Dube: 33 balls, 57 runs, one wicket.
  • Sunil Narine vs MS Dhoni: 92 balls, 48 runs, three wickets.

MI vs GT Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 56th Match

Strap yourselves in, the 56th match of IPL 2025 promises to be a beauty. This highly anticipated clash between the in-form Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) will have a huge say as to who finishes where in the playoffs.

MI are on fire. They have won six in a row to storm not only into the top four positions, but IPL favouritism. Hardik Pandya’s team have not only won those matches, but they have thrashed all who have come before them, with the bowling attack and top order clicking.

However, one small doubt about MI is that they need to deliver against current top four teams. Their past six wins have come against CSK, SRH (twice), RR, LSG and DC, so here is an opportunity to test how far they have come.

Speaking of strong top orders, GT are the epitome of it this season. They put SRH to the sword on Friday, with Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill showcasing their brilliant opening partnership once again. But, like MI, GT have questions of their own, including what happens if they lose early wickets. MI’s strong powerplay attack will be aiming to do just that.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Wankhede Stadium pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 56th of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 56th Match: MI vs GT Possible Playing XIIs

MI could stick with the same XII, unless they decide to bring Mitchell Santner in for Corbin Bosch.

Mumbai Indians: 1. Ryan Rickelton (wk), 2. Rohit Sharma, 3. Will Jacks, 4. Suryakumar Yadav, 5. Tilak Varma, 6. Hardik Pandya (c), 7. Naman Dhir, 8. Corbin Bosch, 9. Deepak Chahar, 10. Trent Boult, 11. Jasprit Bumrah, 12. Karn Sharma

Kagiso Rabada has served a one-month ban for recreational drug use. He is back in India and could be available for selection in this match. Details here.

Gujarat Titans: 1. Sai Sudharsan, 2. Shubman Gill (c), 3. Jos Buttler (wk), 4. Washington Sundar, 5. M Shahrukh Khan, 6. Rahul Tewatia, 7. Rashid Khan, 8. Mohammed Siraj, 9. Gerald Coetzee/Kagiso Rabada, 10. Sai Kishore, 11. Prasidh Krishna, 12. Ishant Sharma/Arshad Khan

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai Pitch Report and Weather

The last four matches on this ground has seen an average first innings score of 193.5. There have been two scores of 200+ batting first, which were successfully defended. Scores of 116, 162 and 176 have been easily chased down this season.

Pace bowlers have taken 44 wickets at the Wankhede in IPL 2025, compared to 13 for spinners.

Another hot and humid day is forecast. There is a chance of afternoon showers, but AccuWeather predicts a clear evening.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for MI vs GT: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Jos Buttler is in great form (scores of 97*, 41*, 50* and 64 in his past four knocks) and loves playing MI. Buttler has scored 572 runs against MI at an average of 57.2 and strike rate of 149.
  • Ryan Rickelton has found his groove in recent matches. He comes into this game off consecutive half-centuries and five 20+ scores in his past six games.

Key batter picks:

  • Suryakumar Yadav is having a dream season. He has made a 25+ score in every match, including 68*, 40*, 54 and 48* in his past four outings. SKY has great head-to-head numbers against Siraj and Rashid (see matchups below).
  • Sai Sudharsan is one of two players (along with Virat Kohli) to hit 500 runs this season. He has made nine 30+ scores in his past ten innings, including 63 (41) against MI.
  • Shubman Gill has struck three consecutive half-centuries and four fifties in his past five matches. Overall against MI, Gill has 478 runs at an average of 36.8 and strike rate of 148.9. However, Gill has a terrible record at the Wankhede, with 74 runs in nine innings at an average of 8.2.
  • Rohit Sharma is back in form with three fifties in his past four matches. He has 82 runs off 59 balls against Siraj in the IPL (one wicket). He also strikes at 170 against Prasidh Krishna (30 balls, 51 runs, two wickets).

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Hardik Pandya is the top Dream11 all-rounder pick with nearly 95% of selections. He should bowl himself early to Shubman Gill, whom he has dismissed four times for 11 runs in 18 balls in the IPL.

Key bowler picks:

  • Jasprit Bumrah has picked up at least one wicket in each of his last six matches. Also, the great fast bowler has seven wickets at the Wankhede this season at a strike rate of 13.71 and economy of 6.06.
  • Bumrah has good head-to-head numbers against key GT players. He has overall figures of 4/78 off 87 balls against Jos Buttler (all T20s), 1/25 off 23 balls against Shubman Gill and 1/1 off five balls against Sai Sudharsan.
  • Prasidh Krishna continues to deliver. The Purple Cap holder has 19 wickets this season, with 11 coming in the middle overs at an outstanding economy of 6.25. Also, Krishna has a good head-to-head record against Suryakumar: 38 balls, 48 runs, two wickets.
  • Trent Boult is on song. The left-arm seamer has taken ten wickets in his past three games. His battle against the GT top order could prove crucial to the result.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Rashid Khan has a great head-to-head record against Rohit Sharma (see below). He also strikes at 214.49 with the bat at the Wankhede, so he can be used as a pinch hitter if needed.
  • Will Jacks can be a decent pick in this game. GT have some left-handers where Jacks’ offspin can come in handy.
  • Mohammed Siraj bowls in the crunch overs. However, he strikes every 30 deliveries overall in ten matches at Wankhede.

Stats and Other Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 6, GT 4, MI 2.
  • GT have won their past three matches against MI.
  • Trent Boult vs Jos Buttler (all T20s): 50 balls, 79 runs, no wickets.
  • Trent Boult vs Shubman Gill in the IPL: 62 balls, 66 runs, one wicket.
  • Mohammed Siraj vs Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL: 29 balls, 65 runs, one wicket.
  • Rashid Khan vs Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL: 64 balls, 91 runs, no wickets.
  • Rashid Khan vs Rohit Sharma in the IPL: 32 balls, 35 runs, four wickets.
  • Kagiso Rabada vs Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL: 57 balls, 89 runs, three wickets.
  • Hardik Pandya vs Jos Buttler (all T20s): 101 balls, 167 runs, two wickets.

Australia possible 11 for WTC Final 2025 vs South Africa

Australia have the opportunity to add to their impressive ICC trophy cabinet when they take on South Africa in the highly anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) Final at Lord’s. Pat Cummins’ team are seeking to successfully defend the title they won in 2023, where they produced an excellent display to beat India by 209 runs at The Oval.

Here is Australia’s squad for the WTC Final: Pat Cummins (c), Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Sam Konstas, Matt Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Beau Webster. Travelling reserve: Brendan Doggett

Australia start as favourites for the WTC Final, but they have questions around the make up of the XI. Who partners Usman Khawaja is top of the agenda, as well as whether Cameron Green will make a comeback to Test cricket in this huge clash.

Also, Scott Boland, who was outstanding in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, might not find a place in the team.

Australia predicted XI for the 2025 WTC Final at Lord’s: 1. Usman Khawaja, 2. Marnus Labuschagne, 3. Cameron Green, 4. Steve Smith, 5. Travis Head, 6. Beau Webster, 7. Alex Carey (wk), 8. Pat Cummins (c), 9. Mitchell Starc, 10. Nathan Lyon, 11. Josh Hazlewood

In a big development, Marnus Labuschagne is tipped to open the batting alongside Khawaja. According to Sydney Morning Herald, selectors met to discuss the squad for the WTC Final. While Sam Konstas is in the squad, it is reported he won’t make the final XI.

It is a view that former Australia captain Mark Taylor agrees with. “I’m not going Konstas,” said Taylor on SENQ Breakfast.

“I’m leaving him out and keeping Marnus but moving him to the top of the order just for that Test [WTC Final].”

However, Taylor would like to see Konstas start at the top in the West Indies tour, which increases the pressure on Labuschagne.

“I’m putting Konstas in my XI for the start of the West Indies tour and see how he goes,” said the former opening batsman. “Hopefully he cements his spot there for the rest of the year.”

Since marking his revival with a stunning innings on the first morning of the 2024 Boxing Day Test, Konstas has found the going difficult. The 19-year-old has struggled to settle on a style of play at the top of the order, often unable to balance ultra-aggression with the traditional style of batting that put him on the map at the start of the 2024/25 season.

“With Sam, look at what happened in the summer; he played that MCG innings which I think surprised everyone including himself, I don’t think he normally plays that way,” Taylor said.

“He took a chance to play a T20 type innings and got away with it, but I don’t think you can make a career playing like that.”

However, Konstas remains a chance to play given Labuschagne’s continued poor run of form. He managed scores of 0, 4 and 23 in his three innings for Glamorgan ahead of the Final. A common theme in Labuschagne’s dismissals was him squaring up and edging behind – a trend that may have selectors worried.

If Konstas does play, it will likely be at the expense of Labuschagne to open the door for Cameron Green to make the XI. Green has enjoyed a successful County season to date, hitting three centuries in five matches for Gloucestershire to all but confirm his spot.

However, Steve Smith will certainly bat at four. He enjoyed a superb run of form since returning to the position after a short stint as opener, hitting four centuries in his last five Tests against India and Sri Lanka.

“I can confirm that Smudge [Steve Smith] will definitely be batting four,” said skipper Pat Cummins in an interview with The Grade Cricketer for Amazon Video.

Beau Webster, who has made a brilliant start to Test cricket, will provide the all-important balance and fifth bowling option.

Speaking of the bowlers, Scott Boland may find himself unlucky to miss out once again. Boland, who has 56 wickets at an average of 17.66, has regularly found himself waiting for opportunities with Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood forming a prolific trio over the years. Hazlewood will feature for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the playoffs, while Pat Cummins (season over for SRH) and Mitchell Starc (did not return to DC) can shift their focus to the big Test.

The 2025 WTC Final kicks off on June 11.

SRH vs DC Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 55th Match

The 55th match of IPL 2025 is a crucial one for Delhi Capitals (DC). Axar Patel’s team has been on the slide, losing four of their past six matches to sit in fifth. They need to get back on track, and they have an opportunity to do so against struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

SRH’s flaws were exposed once again in their latest defeat. Gujarat Titans (GT) put their misfiring attack to the sword, which left the batters with too much to do. Travis Head is yet to find his best form, while the middle order has only shown glimpses of promise.

However, although SRH are eliminated, this still is a danger game for DC. SRH with nothing to lose can be a difficult proposition for any opponent, especially given the fact that Pat Cummins’ team have players who can take the game away.

That being said, DC are filled with quality and will be after a solid performance to get back to winning ways. Powerplay brilliance with bat and ball can set DC up well here against an SRH side that has struggled to recover when they start games on the back foot.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Hyderabad pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 55th match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 55th Match: SRH vs DC Possible Playing XIIs

Mohammed Shami is struggling significantly, so SRH could replace him.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1. Travis Head, 2. Abhishek Sharma, 3. Ishan Kishan, 4. Heinrich Klaasen (wk), 5. Aniket Verma, 6. Nitish Kumar Reddy, 7. Kamindu Mendis, 8. Pat Cummins (c), 9. Harshal Patel, 10. Jaydev Unadkat, 11. Zeeshan Ansari, 12. Mohammed Shami/Simarjeet Singh/Rahul Chahar

DC could stick with the same team that lost to KKR on April 29.

Delhi Capitals: 1. Abishek Porel (wk), 2. Faf du Plessis, 3. Karun Nair, 4. KL Rahul, 5. Axar Patel (c), 6. Tristan Stubbs, 7. Vipraj Nigam, 8. Ashutosh Sharma, 9. Mitchell Starc, 10. Dushmantha Chameera, 11. Kuldeep Yadav, 12. Mukesh Kumar

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad Pitch Report and Weather

SRH crawled to 143/8 in their last match on this ground on April 24. They were exposed in the powerplay before Heinrich Klaasen led a recovery. However, it was nowhere near enough on a good batting pitch.

SRH have struggled against good bowling attacks batting first, scoring 152/8 against GT and the 143 vs MI. This could be template for DC as well as SRH – bowl first and chase well with dew a possibility.

Spinners have taken just nine wickets in IPL 2025 compared to 42 for the seamers. A hot and clear evening is forecast.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for SRH vs DC: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • KL Rahul has scored 457 runs against SRH at an average of 38.08 and strike rate of 121.22. He is DC’s leading run-scorer this season (371) and has a brilliant head-to-head record against Jaydev Unadkat in the IPL: 64 balls, 112 runs, one dismissal.
  • Heinrich Klaasen is one of two SRH players to score 300+ runs in IPL 2025. Against DC, Klaasen has smashed 102 runs in four games at a strike rate of 178.95. Also, he has good head-to-head numbers against Kuldeep and Axar (see matchups below).
  • Abishek Porel has four 25+ scores in his past six innings. He is striking at 153.89 this season.

Key batter picks:

  • Faf du Plessis found some form against KKR (62 off 45 balls). He can take advantage of a struggling SRH attack here. du Plessis struck 50 off 27 balls against SRH earlier this season.
  • Tristan Stubbs missed out against KKR, but he has been one of DC’s strong performers. He has 218 runs this season at an average of 43.60 and strike rate of 161.48. Pick with confidence in your fantasy teams if DC bat first.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Abhishek Sharma comes into this game following a 41-ball 74 against GT. If he gets through the powerplay, watch out as he has smashed 38 off 13 balls against Kuldeep Yadav in the IPL (two wickets).
  • Axar Patel has taken four wickets in his past two games. Also, the DC captain has made four 30+ scores in his past five matches, including a 23-ball 43 last game vs KKR.

Key bowler picks:

  • Mitchell Starc took 5/35 against SRH earlier this season. He also has a dominant head-to-head record against Travis Head.
  • Pat Cummins is still searching for his best form, but he offers fantasy value as he can contribute with the bat as well given SRH’s batting struggles. Keep in mind that Cummins has just three wickets on this ground this season at an average of 62.00 and economy of 10.53.
  • Kuldeep Yadav took 3/22 against SRH earlier in IPL 2025. However, Hyderabad has not been easy for the spinners this season as mentioned above.

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Travis Head can fire on his day. But, he comes into this match with just 67 runs in his past four knocks and has a poor record against Starc. You can take a risk by keeping him out of your fantasy team for certain leagues.
  • Vipraj Nigam can offer value with both bat and ball, although this ground is not too spinner-friendly. The all-rounder took 2/41 and scored 38 in the last game vs KKR.
  • Harshal Patel is SRH’s top wicket-taker this season with 13. Seven of those have come in Hyderabad where he striking every 11.14 balls.
  • Aniket Verma can be a handy differential pick. Verma performed well against DC earlier this season, smashing 74 off 41 balls.

Stats and Other Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 25, SRH 13, DC 12.
  • Pat Cummins vs KL Rahul in all T20s: 52 balls, 77 runs, two wickets.
  • Mohammed Shami vs KL Rahul in the IPL: 35 balls, 43 runs, two wickets.
  • Mitchell Starc vs Abhishek Sharma in the IPL: 10 balls, eight runs, one wicket.
  • Harshal Patel vs KL Rahul in the IPL: 28 balls, 40 runs, one wicket.
  • Kuldeep Yadav vs Heinrich Klaasen in all T20s: 24 balls, 46 runs, no wickets.
  • Axar Patel vs Heinrich Klaasen in all T20s: 51 balls, 92 runs, one wicket.

KKR vs RR Twitter Reactions – Hosts survive Riyan Parag 95 to win thriller by 1 run

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have kept their IPL 2025 playoffs hopes alive by the skin of their teeth, prevailing by one run in a thriller against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Gardens. It was the second-straight last-ball finish in the tournament after RCB held on to beat CSK less than 24 hours earlier at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

KKR looked to be coasting to an easy win. After Andre Russell’s brilliant 25-ball 57 drove the hosts to 206/4, Ajinkya Rahane’s team restricted RR to 71/5 in the eighth over. Given the Royals’ struggles with the bat, you may have been forgiven for thinking KKR would cruise to a massive, net run rate boosting win.

Instead, Riyan Parag turned the game on its head. The RR captain belted five consecutive sixes off Moeen Ali in the 13th over to bring the equation from 105 off 48 to 73 off 42. KKR were sweating at that point, with Shimron Hetmyer also threatening to cut loose. By the time impact player Shubham Dubey walked out to the middle, RR were right in the contest, requiring 43 off 24 with Parag on a roll.

Crucially, Dubey wasn’t able to get going early, which was a credit to KKR’s bowling and fielding in the crunch overs. As a result, it increased the pressure on Parag, who fell five runs short of a stunning T20 century, holing out to long on for a magnificent 45-ball 95. At that point, RR needed a more improbable 32 off 14 balls, which quickly became 22 off six, courtesy of Russell’s solid penultimate over.

However, the twists and turns weren’t done in this thriller. This game had endless ebbs and flows, and the final over was the icing on the cake. After struggling early, Dubey struck six, four, six to bring the equation down to three needed off the last ball against a nervous Vaibhav Arora.

In the end, though, Arora held his nerve well, executing an excellent final-ball yorker which Dubey only managed to squeeze away down the ground. Jofra Archer was unable to get back for the second to force a Super Over, sparking KKR celebrations as they remained alive in IPL 2025.

KKR vs RR Twitter Reactions: More heartbreak for the Royals as KKR keep hopes alive

The one-run defeat was yet another instance of RR falling short in a run chase this season. While they deserve great credit for the way they fought back courtesy of Parag, they got themselves into a position where they could win the match. Unfortunately, they weren’t quite able to execute.

KKR’s ability to crawl back between the 17th and 19th overs was crucial to the result. Harshit Rana was excellent under pressure. Special mention also goes to Rinku Singh, whose wonderful fielding on the boundary saved vital runs. However, it may have come at a cost, with Rinku seemingly picking up a muscle injury as a result.

Here are some fan reactions to a fantastic contest between KKR and RR at Eden Gardens.

With this win, KKR moved to 11 points and currently sit two points outside the top four (at the time of writing). They have games against the two bottom teams in SRH and CSK to come. Wins in those matches will take them to 15 points ahead of their final match against RCB on Sunday 18 May.

PBKS vs LSG Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 54th Match

Punjab Kings (PBKS) will host the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 54th match of IPL 2025. PBKS will play their remaining three home games at Dharamsala, including this one. Shreyas Iyer’s team is 4th in the points table with six wins in 10 games, while LSG are 6th with five wins in 10 matches.

Punjab Kings defeated the Chennai Super Kings by four wickets in their last match. Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimrah Singh scored fifties and helped their side over the line. Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a hat-trick in that game. Punjab’s top three have been in good form but the other batters have failed to perform consistently. Glenn Maxwell’s form and injury hasn’t helped either.

Their bowlers have done a good job and the middle order needs to step up in the remaining matches if Punjab is to qualify for the playoffs.

Lucknow Super Giants are coming off the back of a 54-run defeat against the Mumbai Indians in their last match. They have been a little hot and cold in their last few matches and that’s mainly due to Nicholas Pooran’s failures with the bat. LSG need their top three to be consistent as they heavily rely on them for the bulk of the scoring.

Mayank Yadav’s inclusion in the last game will bolster their bowling attack but the other bowlers also need to step up in the remaining matches for LSG. The likes fof Ravi Bishnoi, Digvesh Rathi and Prince Yadav will have to pick up wickets consistently.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Dharamsala pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 54th match of IPL 2025.

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium Dharamshala Pitch Report and Weather

Dharamshala was a high-scoring venue in the last season of the IPL with the average first innings score of 204 runs. It’s expected to be similar for this match too. There will be some assistance for the pacers with the new ball and spinners are also expected get something off the deck.

Scores in the range of 180-200 are expected, and teams will prefer chasing. There might be a little dew but it shouldn’t affect the game.

Light rain is expected just ahead of the game at Dharamsala. It will quite humid with 60-70% humidity. It might be a delayed start but we should get a full game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for PBKS vs LSG: Players to Watch/Key Stats

Note: Try to pick more batters and all-rounders if you are playing on Dream11. The new point system rewards the batters heavily.

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • Prabhsimran Singh has two fifties in the last two innings and he’s been in top form this season. He scored a match-winning 69 in the first meeting against LSG this season.
  • Nicholas Pooran has only 55 runs in his last four innings. He started off the season with a bang but has lost track in the last few games. Pooran will be an important batter for his side and will be itching to score big in this game. He will be a top C/VC choice as well.

Key batter picks:

  • Mitchell Marsh has been one of the best batters for LSG this season. He has 378 runs in nine matches at an average of 42 and strike rate of 158.82 this season. Marsh got out for a golden duck against PBKS in the first game this season and will look to score big in this one.

  • Aiden Markram has three fifties in his last five innings. He has been the best batter for LSG in the last few matches and has also contributed with the ball. Markram scored 28 in the first game against PBKS this season. He has been in great touch and will be a good C/VC pick.
  • Marco Jansen will bowl with the new ball and towards the end of the innings. He’s capable with the bat as well and can fetch plenty of points on his day.

IPL 2025 54th Match: PBKS vs LSG Match Prediction: Who will win?

Punjab Kings will start as the favourites for this match. Their top three have been in excellent form and LSG’s new ball bowling is not that threatening. Punjab’s main concern is its middle order and LSG is having the same issue. That being said, Punjab has good depth with their batting and they should win this match.

Will Kagiso Rabada play in the WTC Final? Pacer serves provisional suspension for recreational drug use

The reason for Kagiso Rabada’s absence from the Indian Premier League (IPL) is now clear. The fast bowler tested positive for a banned substance and was serving a provisional suspension. According to a report from ESPNcricinfo, Rabada took the substance during the SA20. It has been confirmed that it was a recreational drug, not performance-enhancing.

In a statement issued through the South African Cricketers’ Association (SACA), Rabada was apologetic for his actions. The fast bowler had returned home from the IPL for “personal reasons” back at the start of April.

“As has been reported, I recently returned to South Africa from participating in the IPL for personal reasons,” Rabada said. “This was due to my returning an adverse analytical finding for the use of a recreational drug.

“I am deeply sorry to all those that I have let down. I will never take the privilege of playing cricket for granted. This privilege is much larger than me. It goes beyond my personal aspirations.

“I am serving a provisional suspension and I am looking forward to returning to the game I love playing,” Rabada continued.

“I couldn’t have gone through this alone. I’d like to thank my agent, CSA, and Gujarat Titans for their support. I’d also like to thank SACA and my legal team for their guidance and counsel. Most importantly I’d like to thank my friends and family for their understanding and love.

“Moving forward, this moment will not define me. I will keep doing what I have always done, continuously working hard and playing with passion and devotion to my craft.”

Could Kagiso Rabada miss the WTC 2025 Final due to his suspension?

A report from Fox Sports Australia suggests Rabada is at risk of missing next month’s World Test Championship (WTC) Final at Lord’s. However, Rabada will be available for the WTC Final after serving a one-month ban, according to ESPNcricinfo.

South African Agency for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) said Rabada took part in an education and awareness program regarding drug use and abuse. He could return for GT in their blockbuster showdown against MI on Tuesday May 6.

Rabada’s availability and output is crucial to South Africa’s hopes of lifting the coveted WTC mace. Earlier this year, the fast bowler was bullish about his team’s chances of beating Australia.

“It’s actually quite some distance away, but a big occasion like the World Test Championship final gets you up for it,” Rabada said in January.

“South Africa versus Australia has always been an intense rivalry, because we play cricket quite similar. We play hard – and they’re going to come hard at us, and we know that,” he said.

“But we also know how to beat them.”

KKR vs RR Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 53rd Match

Despite their inconsistent season, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are still in with a shot of making the playoffs. They play the three bottom teams in their final four games, starting with today against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Gardens.

KKR come into the 53rd match of IPL 2025 off the back of a crucial win over Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 29. Sunil Narine was at his all-round best, and if he shows that same form here, we can expect RR to struggle further given their difficulties against spin this season.

Ajinkya Rahane’s team come up against a RR side with nothing to play for. It remains to be seen whether this enables RR to play with total freedom and try have a positive finish to what has been a very difficult season. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Jofra Archer have provided the highlights, with very little support from the rest. If that remains the case, then RR will be relying on individual brilliance once again.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Eden Gardens pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 Prediction for the 53rd match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 53rd Match: KKR vs RR Possible Playing XIIs

KKR could stick with the same team that beat Delhi Capitals earlier this week.

Kolkata Knight Riders: 1. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 2. Sunil Narine, 3. Ajinkya Rahane (c), 4. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, 5. Venkatesh Iyer, 6. Rinku Singh, 7. Andre Russell, 8. Rovman Powell, 9. Anukul Roy, 10. Harshit Rana, 11. Varun Chakravarthy, 12. Vaibhav Arora

Wanindu Hasaranga could return after missing the MI match due to a niggle.

Rajasthan Royals: 1. Yashasvi Jaiswal, 2. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 3. Nitish Rana, 4. Riyan Parag (c), 5. Dhruv Jurel (wk), 6. Shimron Hetmyer, 7. Wanindu Hasaranga, 8. Jofra Archer, 9. Maheesh Theekshana, 10. Kumar Kartikeya, 11. Akash Madhwal, 12. Shubham Dubey

Eden Gardens Kolkata Pitch Report and Weather

Eden Gardens has been a high-scoring ground this season. The last four games have seen first innings totals of 200/6, 238/3, 198/3 and 201/4. The team batting first has won three of the four completed matches in IPL 2025.

In this day game, there will be the temptation to bat first. LSG hammered 238 in the day game here on April 8. A very hot and humid afternoon is forecast with a chance of some rain, but hopefully the weather will be fine for the match.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs RR: Top Picks/Key Players to Watch

Top wicket-keeper picks:

  • Rahmanullah Gurbaz offers the most potential for fantasy points in this game as he opens the batting. He will be looking to build on his promising 26 (12) in the last game against DC.

Key batter picks:

  • Yashasvi Jaiswal has struck five fifties and a 49 in his past eight knocks. The left-hander has scored 19 runs off nine balls without dismissal against Harshit Rana.
  • Ajinkya Rahane is KKR’s leading run-scorer this season with 297 at an average of 37.12 and strike rate of 149.24.
  • Angkrish Raghuvanshi is a solid pick at number four. He scored a 32-ball 44 in his last outing vs DC and 22* (17) against RR earlier this season.
  • Vaibhav Suryavanshi can go big on his day, as he showed in his incredible display earlier this week. The KKR attack could look to bowl as full as possible early.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Sunil Narine is a top Dream11 captaincy choice for this match. He scored 27 (16) and took 3/29 in the last game and faces a RR side that has had its problems against spin.
  • Riyan Parag has eight 20+ scores in his past ten innings. However, he has gone past 40 just once. The potential is there for the RR captain to make a bigger score. He also bowls and fields in the hotspot positions which can mean more fantasy points.

Key bowler picks:

  • Varun Chakravarthy will be key against RR’s batting lineup. He has taken 11 wickets in eight matches against RR, including 2/17 earlier this season. He has good numbers against Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer (see matchups below).
  • Jofra Archer has been RR’s biggest threat this season, although he has picked up just three wickets in his past four matches. He has a good record against Ajinkya Rahane (see matchups below).

Other Players to Consider for your Fantasy Cricket Teams

  • Andre Russell can be a handy pick if KKR bat first. Also, he can play a role with the ball, where he often picks up a wicket or two.
  • Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana have 10+ wickets this season. They both took two wickets against RR earlier in IPL 2025.

Stats and Other Important Matchups

  • Head-to-head: Matches 31, KKR 15, RR 14, N/R 2.
  • Sunil Narine vs Shimron Hetmyer in all T20s: 86 balls, 77 runs, one dismissal.
  • Jofra Archer vs Ajinkya Rahane in the IPL: Nine balls, one run, one dismissal.
  • Varun Chakravarthy vs Shimron Hetmyer in the IPL: 10 balls, seven runs, two dismissals.
  • Varun Chakravarthy vs Riyan Parag: four balls, seven runs, one dismissal.

Should Australia pick Marcus Harris for the 2025 WTC Final?

It’s a case of a deja vu for Australia. Usman Khawaja’s opening partner was the big topic of conversation before the 2024/25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), and it is the case again ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final against South Africa at Lord’s starting June 11.

Sam Konstas replaced Nathan McSweeney in the fourth Test of the BGT. He made an immediate impression, ramping Jasprit Bumrah on an unforgettable first morning of the 2024 Boxing Day Test. However, it has been relatively lean pickings for Konstas since, with the 19-year-old unsure of the style he wants to implement at the top of the order.

Travis Head was shifted to opener for the two-match series in Sri Lanka in January and February, with Konstas left out. Now that Head will slot back to number five for Lord’s, Australia have a decision to make at the top. Konstas is tipped to open the batting, with journalist Ben Horne claiming the selectors have had a plan to bring him in.

“Marcus Harris and Cameron Bancroft… it’s good to see them in form over in English County Cricket, but I don’t think they’re in the frame. I don’t think they’re going to be in the squad,” said Horne on the Willow Talk podcast.

“To me, I think Sam Konstas will open the batting. I think they [the selectors] had a plan to bring him back [after leaving him out in Sri Lanka].”

The form of Marcus Harris could make him too difficult to ignore

However, if Australia want an in-form player for this one-off final, Marcus Harris is firmly in the frame. Even though he has been batting at four for Lancashire, Harris has been in prolific touch, making five 50+ scores in seven innings – including two hundreds – so far this season.

The left-hander has struck scores of 138 & 52 vs Middlesex, 43 & 50 vs Nothamptonshire, 77 & 34* vs Leicestershire, followed by 165* on day one against Gloucestershire in Manchester.

That being said, it looks like a long shot that the 32-year-old will make his way into the Australia XI for the WTC Final. Harris has had a tough time of things in Test cricket, averaging just 25.29 from 14 matches, including 9.66 in three Tests in England. But, form and confidence can play a big role in such a match, and Harris has plenty of it at the moment.

Australia also have a decision to make on Cameron Green. The 25-year-old made a successful return to cricket as a specialist batsman, hitting 112 in his first knock back for Gloucestershire against Kent on April 18.

Green could come in for Beau Webster, although that would be harsh on the all-rounder who has enjoyed a superb start to his Test career, including scores of 57 and 39* on a very difficult SCG pitch on debut against India.

Marnus Labuschagne is the player under the most pressure in the Australian top six, but it seems unlikely Australia will make a change at number three for the WTC Final.

Australia are gunning for their second-straight WTC title after beating India by 209 runs in the 2023 Final.

RCB vs CSK Dream11 Prediction Possible 11 Pitch Report – IPL 2025 52nd Match

The 52nd match of IPL 2025 the rematch of arguably the biggest rivalry in the league: RCB against CSK. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the first time when these two sides met earlier this season. Everything has gone downhill for Chennai Super Kings since that game. Despite that, it promises to be an exciting contest.

RCB are sitting pretty in the top two with seven wins and three defeats. They’ve been in excellent form with almost everyone contributing when needed. They have won their last three games in a row. The batters have been in great form while the bowlers have also bowled really well till now.

Jitesh Sharma and Rajat Patidar’s form is a concern for RCB, especially towards the business end of the tournament. RCB is looking very confident as a side and they’ll be eager to do a double on CSK.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings are at the bottom of the points table with only two wins in 10 games. They are officially out of the playoff race. Nothing has gone right for CSK this season. They have now started giving opportunities to youngsters and players on the bench. The likes of Dewald Brevis, Ayush Mhatre and Sam Curran have been the positives for them in the last couple of games.

CSK bowlers started well but they’ve lost track in the last few matches and the conditions have also been challenging for them. Matheesha Pathirana has been a big disappointment, and so has Shivam Dube. CSK will look to win this game and settle the score with RCB in IPL 2025.

In this article, we will look at the possible playing XIIs, Chinnaswamy pitch report, fantasy cricket tips and Dream11 prediction for the 51st match of IPL 2025.

IPL 2025 52nd Match: RCB vs CSK Probable Playing XIIs

RCB is expected to be unchanged. But they may bring Phil Salt back for Romario Shepherd, if fit.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 1. Jacob Bethell, 2. Virat Kohli, 3. Devdutt Padikkal, 4. Rajat Patidar, 5. Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6. Tim David, 7. Romario Shepherd, 8. Krunal Pandya, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Yash Dayal, 11. Josh Hazlewood 12. Suyash Sharma (Impact)

CSK may bring in Nathan Ellis or Jamie Overton for Matheesha Pathirana. Vansh Bedi can also make his IPL debut.

Chennai Super Kings: 1. Shaikh Rasheed, 2. Ayush Mhatre, 3. Sam Curran, 4. Dewald Brevis, 5. Shivam Dube, 6. Vansh Bedi/Deepak Hooda, 7. Ravindra Jadeja, 8. MS Dhoni (c & wk), 9. Nathan Ellis/Matheesha Pathirana, 10. Anshul Kamboj, 11. Noor Ahmad, 12. Khaleel Ahmed (Impact)

M Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru Pitch Report and Weather

The pitch at Bengaluru has been a spicy one this season. There has been good pace, bounce and movement for the pacers, especially off the 6-8 meters length. The batters can also play their shots, trusting the wicket. Scores in the range of 180-200 are expected and teams are expected to prefer chasing. Batters and pace bowlers will enjoy playing on this wicket.

Rain is predicted for this game. Chinnaswamy has a world-class drainage system but expect a rain-interrupted encounter in this game. The temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius at the start of the game.

Fantasy Cricket Tips for RCB vs CSK: Top Picks/Players to Watch

Note: Try to pick more batters and all-rounders if you are playing on Dream11. The new point system rewards the batters heavily.

Top Wicket-Keeper Picks:

  • MS Dhoni will be a top fantasy pick from the wicket-keeping section if Phil Salt is not playing for RCB. Dhoni has failed to get going in the last couple of games but he has a phenomenal record against RCB and he scored 30* off 16 in the first game against them.

Key batter picks:

  • Shivam Dube has 253 runs in 6 innings against RCB at an average of 63.20 and has struck at 155.20 including a couple of fifties. Dube hasn’t been at his best this season but he can be the game-changer in fantasy cricket for this match.
  • Virat Kohli has been in exceptional touch this season with 443 runs in 10 matches with six fifties in IPL 2025. Kohli last scored a fifty against CSK back in 2021 but he’s in terrific touch this season and will be a must in your fantasy teams.
  • Dewald Brevis has batted well in the middle order for CSK. He has been very intentful with the bat and will be a top fantasy pick, especially against RCB’s spin attack.

Top all-rounder picks:

  • Ravindra Jadeja has been consistently batting at number four in the last few matches. He looked to attack the bowlers from the first ball in the last game. Jadeja loves playing against RCB and he should bowl his full quota. He will be a top fantasy pick.
  • Sam Curran scored a brilliant 88 in the last game against Punjab. He will bat at three for CSK and should bowl 2-3 overs. Curran has looked in good touch and will fetch points from both bat and ball.

Key bowler picks:

  • Josh Hazlewood picked up three wickets in the last match against CSK. He will again trouble CSK’s top order and will be good C/VC option too for this match. Hazlewood has 18 wickets in 10 games this season and he’s currently the Purple Cap holder in IPL 2025.
  • Noor Ahmad has 15 wickets in 10 games this season. He picked up three wickets against RCB in their first meeting this season. Noor can trouble RCB’s middle order.
  • Khaleel Ahmed should enjoy the conditions at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He has 14 wickets to his name and he will fancy his chances against RCB’s top three in this match.

Other Players to Consider for Your Fantasy Cricket Team

  • Ayush Mhatre will face some serious threats against Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar but he will help you win games one-sided if he gets going in this match.
  • Rajat Patidar has been in poor form this season, and especially in the last few games. He scored a fifty against CSK earlier and will be a key batter for his side in the middle overs.
  • Jacob Bethell played a couple of solid shots in the last game. He looked in good touch and can score big on his day. Try him in the big leagues.
  • Nathan Ellis (Bowling first, if plays)
  • Jamie Overton (if plays)
  • Devdutt Padikkal
  • Yash Dayal

Other Matchups and Facts

  • Head to Head: Matches: 34, RCB 12, CSK 21
  • Virat Kohli vs Ravindra Jadeja: 148 deliveries, 161 runs, 3 dismissals.
  • Virat Kohli vs Noor Ahmad: 44 deliveries, 63 runs, 2 dismissals.
  • Devdutt Padikkal vs Khaleel Ahmed (T20s): 4 deliveries, 0 runs, 2 dismissals.
